I could send sms's up till this afternoon then kaput no sms's wud send they wud just hang around in the outbox and then a msg appears saying about checking my service coverage. Well 2 bar signal, and ive sent sms from this place fine before?? I do have credit please help

I sent a sms 2 a friend although the XDA 2 told me it had not sent, he recieved the msg!?? and he couldnt txt me back! Although I could recieve a voice call from him??

Hi, I got this problem when i receive an sms,i can saw it when i open the messaging , when i click the individual sms ,it will just show a blank page and nothing else. I cannot reply, read or even see who send to me when i click into the sms. Anyone face this program? any suggestion to solve will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance
Are you sure that that are 'real' SMS or only service and OTA checks?
Try to let a friend send you a sms with a short text and see if that works! Is your service center number for SMS correct in the phone?
Real sms. It is the place where you read all ur sms, the messaging application.
When people send me an sms, I cannot read it when i click the sms. Anyone face the same problem before?
unfortunatley mate, i had the same problem a while ago, with the same phone, i was running the shipped o2 rom. i didn't find a solution, i just had to do a reset. since playing with other roms it hasn't happened. What i did notice was that cemail.vol became movable, so i copied that to my computer, just incase it would be of any use later.
I can't offer any solutions mate, just a master reset. if you do find a solution, could you pm me please

hi everybody, Im really in a big trouble regarding sending sms. I can actually just send the shortest messages that can merely reach 6 to 7 words. I choose GSM from the SMS Service but it doesnt helped. i actually use windows mobile 6.1 with M-Amine rom.
pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzzzeeeee eeeeeeee help me if u can. what ever the message text is more than that number i get an error message that this message cannot be sent. so please if any body of u have any idea help me. and of course my htc is polaris..

Have you checked the telephone number for sending out your SMS?

I don't mean the telephone number of the receipient. I mean the telephone number of the service provider. This is the number that you have when you go to start/setting/personal/phone, then go to the services tab, and the number that you see in Voice Mail and Text Messages.
I once experinced the same problem using someone's perpaid phone card in another country trying to send out sms messages, only to find out that the last digit of the telephone number in that setting was accidentally erased by him, hence there was no way for me to send SMS messages using his SIM card.

I have a terriple problem with my x10i or with the back up program.
When i upgraded to .23 i restored my sms - call logs e.t.c with the back and restore application.
After a while my wife called and told me that my phone got crazy and sent all the text messages (sms) i have sent her from the time i bought the phone.
After a while a friend called me and told me the same.
As i understand the phone regonized the sms as unsent?
When i decided to go back to the .20 firmware i did the same and i had the same results All people got my sms again.
Again yesterday when i installed Home++ did the same.
If someone expirienced the same problem please advice .

From i got my new dash 36 i am not able to send nor receive any text messages and its really getting me crazy....
Everyting else work on d phone except dat i cant send nor receive any text message.... Can some1 provide some assistance ASAP.....

to fix the problem of sending messages, you need to install the SMS patch
There are many threads with this discussion, please post in one of them. On that note, thread closed.
