hi everybody, Im really in a big trouble regarding sending sms. I can actually just send the shortest messages that can merely reach 6 to 7 words. I choose GSM from the SMS Service but it doesnt helped. i actually use windows mobile 6.1 with M-Amine rom.
pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzzzeeeee eeeeeeee help me if u can. what ever the message text is more than that number i get an error message that this message cannot be sent. so please if any body of u have any idea help me. and of course my htc is polaris..

I could send sms's up till this afternoon then kaput no sms's wud send they wud just hang around in the outbox and then a msg appears saying about checking my service coverage. Well 2 bar signal, and ive sent sms from this place fine before?? I do have credit please help

I sent a sms 2 a friend although the XDA 2 told me it had not sent, he recieved the msg!?? and he couldnt txt me back! Although I could recieve a voice call from him??

First of all, I do not know the category of my XDA Zinc. But, by looking at the picture, I think it looks like Hermes for me. So, I ask my problem here. I'm very sorry if this is the wrong place to ask.
What my problem is that I suddenly cannot send, read messages (SMS, MMS, e-mail). It seems that the SMS application cannot be played. I try to create new sms from contact application, but it also fails.
What should I do? For your information, I have not installed any application.

sorry dude, its not a hermes, in fact i dont think its even an htc device......you can try to hard reset the device, if you can figure out how to. someone here might be able to help you, but i think you're better off checking the general forums.

You are correct, that phone is made by Asus.
i have a 8125 when i send a text it says message sent (i dont mind that with MMS cause i barley use MMS) But TEXTS ALL DAY LONG N CANT STAND IT !!!! i have found this http://www.htcwizardweb.net/node/149 But im lik 4 months new to this ! n scared to try n some1 on that page said that when they did that they got a error notifaction message i dont want that 2 !! u kno if some could please take to help me here ! thanks ! just want that off !
Try Schap's Advanced Configuration Tool.
Among other things, one of the options in this tool is to stop the SMS sent messages from being displayed. If you're getting too many, you probably have another problem, and this won't solve it, but it will give you a workaround.
Hopefully someone else will come by with an actual solution, but for now you can at least get some relief.

Have you checked the telephone number for sending out your SMS?

I don't mean the telephone number of the receipient. I mean the telephone number of the service provider. This is the number that you have when you go to start/setting/personal/phone, then go to the services tab, and the number that you see in Voice Mail and Text Messages.
I once experinced the same problem using someone's perpaid phone card in another country trying to send out sms messages, only to find out that the last digit of the telephone number in that setting was accidentally erased by him, hence there was no way for me to send SMS messages using his SIM card.

I am unable to send a SMS to more than one person at a time. It will not allow me to send a SMS to multi recepients, any body any ideas please.

The solution is simple and crazy .. for some reason its really stupid for the OS to expect what it expects us to do..
Solution :: Keep your Data Connection ON when you send the message and yes wifi wont work ..It needs data connection.. why ... I don't know ..

Think I`ve sorted it now, I had to change my carrier settings!! now it seems to be able to send to multiple recipients.
Just got to wait for Camera/Flash sync to be sorted then jobs a guddun.
