Emulating a BT keyboard/mouse with a XDA - Windows Mobile Development and Hacking General

Is it possible for the an XDA/PPC/whatever to run an emulator of sorts that exposes Bluetooth keyboard or mouse services? E.g., so I could pair an XDA as a generic BT keyboard and mouse to a computer.
Whilst there are 'remote control' apps available, they require something installed on the PC side of things, which is not what I want. If it was simply available as another Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, anything that can connect to a BT keyboard/mouse can support it - without requiring drivers. PCs, Macs, other handhelds, etc.

Using USB mouse..

Have anyone tried to find a mouse that will work on the mini usb port ?
Cheers Kim
First we need to confirm if the Universal supports hosting functionality! And then find a mouse which works
San
Does it need to be a host ?, I thought you could get away with a less suport to drive a mouse..
I have tried a desktop extender app, wich used the universal screen as 2. monitor, would assume that is more complicated than drivibg a mouse.
I have a friend whom tried a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard which works well on PPC.

With that application, the Universal was a client, and the computer was Host..
With a Universal and a USB mouse, you have to clients and no host..
The Universal will be waiting for the mouse to give commands and vice versa..
No drivers in the world can emulate USB host functionality, when the CHIPSET don't support it.
(Actually, the chipset TYPE supports it, but there are some wires that are not connected in the Universal..)

try by using PPC Tablet Remote Control Suite
PPC Tablet Remote Control Suite is a Pocket PC software that uses a Pocket PC screen to emulate input devices such as keyboard, touchpad or tablet. Through these "virtual" input devices, PPC Tablet helps users remotely control a desktop or laptop PC by sending keystrokes or mouse movements to it, through an ActiveSync connection or any TCP/IP network connection, wired or wireless. It can also help users speed up repetitive data entry or computer operation by using PPC Tablet's macro keys

Android Device as Xbox 360 Controller

hi, I was wondering if it is possible to send commands from your android device to your xbox 360 ? (via usb)
so that your phone works as a controller.....
(Im not asking to connect a xbox 360 controller to an android phone - but connecting an android phone to a xbox console!)
Does the 360 support a hid usb keyboard? You could probably emulate that on the android device.
Better, in my opinion, and with a wider appeal would be a bluetooth ir blaster. Should be a fairly simple device, controlled over bluetooth, that emmits ir remote signals to be received by your xbox or other home theater equipment. Not sure if something like this is available, but there should be.
usb is rather limited (mostly because it's an xbox, if it was a PC it would be easier), but like voodoo55 said, bluetooth would be possible

but there are wired-xbox-controllers that connects via usb to the xbox....
the phone could just send the standard usb-commands to the console, right?
no bluetooth support on xbox im afraid.... it may be possible by studying what buttons on the controler do.. eg. what command each button does when pressed.. obviously its coded some how.. as voodoo55 said you may be able to emulate this using some sort of custom made app... good luck

the xbox controllers are special, any other usb input device can't be used outside of the messenger - M$ did this to prevent/lower 3rd party controllers, similar to how they only accept M$ wireless adapters

NEW Logitech K600 Wireless Keyboard

https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/k600-smart-tv-keyboard
Supports three devices and six platforms. Connects via included Logi Unifying Receiver (UR) or Bluetooth (BT) to Samsung Smart TV, LG Smart TV, Android TV/Android mobile devices (Fire TV), Windows, macOS, iOS, and Chrome OS
I initially set it up for WebOS on my LG OLED with its included USB UR as Device 1. Then got it connected by BT to my FireTV Cube as Device 2. Remembered I had a spare older UR for my K400 that I was using on my FireTV so set it up with the Cube as Device 3. I'll get around to ditching the Cube BT connection.
The setup is a little obscure. If you have Windows, the easiest way is to use Logi's UR Connector app and set it up on the PC and then move the UR to what you want to control.

External Keyboard/Mouse not working + Android TV app not connecting

Hello folks.
In the last few weeks (not sure when it happened) all my external keyboards and mice are not working on the Shield Pro. I have tried 3 wireless and one wired keyboard and wired mouse, and none of them show the cursor moving at all. In settings, my main keyboard, Logitech k400, is visible in settings, but there is no mouse cursor, nothing happens when I try to navigate.
Secondly, when I try to connect the Google Android TV app to the Shield Pro, it never connects. They are on the same (and only) wifi.
Was there some update that broke the use of external devices? I have not done anything to my settings or device. It is not rooted, it is as it came from the factory...
Help please, thanks!
Mark.
