I have problem Unlocking XDAI , this phone is locked by T-Mobile ,
Device information :
ROM Version : 4.01.16 ENG
ROM date : 02/04/04
Radio version : 6.25.02
Protocol version : 324e4
I have allready tryed " XDAmanipulator " It did not worked , It gives me codes as "00000000" , Also i have tryed "XDAunlock" It shows "error giveing codes " , Is there any solution for unlocking this phone i have a serial cable for this also.I would be really happy if someone can really reply me fast on this

You don't mention your bootloader version, but everything else on my phone was the same and I was successful. Here's a link to the procedures I used:

I have the sme version as you have. Did you finally unlocked the sim? I need your help with detailed step by step explanations if you succeeded.
I have downloaded the mkrom and the xdaunlock.exe.
I recieve the message 'error getting unlock code'.

How are you trying to unlock?
With your ROM version you can only try the xda manupulatr and a serial cable.
If you want to use the xdaunlock tool you need an ROM with the wmodem function.,....

I have just bought this from EBAY UK.
I need help to unlock the mda vario and I have read the forums threads but too confused to what to use.
My T Mobile Mda Vario - Says on the Box Made in Taiwan ( HTC is taiwanese based)
This is what I get when I swicthed on my Phone.
IPL Ver : 2.21.0001
SPL Ver : 2.21.0001
GSM Ver: 2.19.11
OS : 2.24.2.6
It first installed the T Mobile S/w and now says SIM LOCK.
Could someone help me which unlock version ( latest is lokiwizMSL 0.3a) and some handfull advice.
If you need more info please let me know.

I managed to unlock my PDA now.
I have appeneded the main thread Lokiwiz03 with the difficulty i faced.

I beleive you can use lokiwiz .3. Follow the directions from the first post in that thread exactly. And run it with either its native sime(the one its originially supposed to take) or without a sim at all. lokiwiz will give you the unlock code. Put in your sim and enter the code.
Or...
You could always ask t-mobile for the unlock code...they gave me mine for free. it took about a week but they got it from the company and sent it along with instructions in an email.

PS : I tried ART_HTCFRA_11240601_026790_FRA_SHIP.exe but the upgrade says INVALID MODEL ID...
PS bis : I also tried P3300_softwareupdate_FRE in the thread below and also INVALID MODEL ID : the process starts uploading and the phone restarts at 2%
PS 2 : And I tried it after USPL (it seems that it worked : I has a "Successfull Install" ... could I verify )
PS 3 : My current ROM version is 1.14.405.1 WWE
My problem is totally odd
I managed to change my en htc version to another older one and the SPL version became 1.12, I used uspl and the SPL went to 1.11 as it should be
BUT when I try to upload a french HTC version it fails with INVALID MODEL ID
I am stuck !
Any Idea ?

plz tell your phone is gsm or cdma version and if gsm is it elf-3450, or elfin -3452, and which rom you tried to flash and what is your device id(U can get this in system Info) and whether u cid unlocked the device before flashing rom
