Hi there!
I got a question:
id like to change the sound when i recieve a sms with a custom one on my o2 xda neo but when i copy a wav file to the my documents directory the file only appears in the ringtone menue for incoming calls. so my plan was to replace one of the default sound files in the windows dir wich is shown in the menue for incoming sms sound eg alarm1.wav. the problem is that those files are write protected. is the any way to get write acces to this directory? or is there an other way to change the sound for an incoming sms to a custom sound file?
1. You can use Total Commander to overwrite the write access. It works for most of the write protected files. Not sure about the WAV.
2. You can just copy your WAV into the \Windows directory. The \Windows is not write protected. Your WAV file should shown in your SMS noti sound after you copied it into \Windows
thank you!!! your second advice worked!
Hi,
I wanna transfer some pictures to my server via bluetooth and I'm using resco file explorer for that.
But, when push+hold on the file it shows me options to mail it or send it via IR to another device but no bluetooth.
Please advice
THanks in advance
Hi
does anyone know how to copy the txt messages that are stored in the phones memory.
I found a file call tmail.dll (i am using a T-mobile chip in a Orabge SPV m600 handset) however i am unable to copy this file as it is an executable file in ROM.
Cheers

I backed-up my contacts from an S2 via export contacts to SD Card (S2 doesnt have an SD Card) and it saved it as 00001.vcf. I bluetoothed the file to my S4. Yes i can find it if i go to settings>bluetooth received files but i cannot find it using file manager or my PC. Now i want to delete the file in my S4 but i cant find it and there is no option to delete it in settings>bluetooth. And no its not in the bluetooth folder, its like its there somewhere in the phone but i cant find it. Any help?

Use notepad or any other text editor and create a blank VCF file having the same name you put for the first VCF file that you transferred via bluetooth.
Then transfer that blank VCF file to your device via bluetooth. You should no longer have that problem!!!
So, since you saved the VCF file as 00001.vcf, make sure the blank one is 00001.vcf
