Hi, what transfer speed between computer (usb2.0) and phone do you have?
I have a qtek s100 with very slow transfer(?)

Hi!
We have just discovered one very interesting thing:
using memcpy() function we observe data transfer rate
~4.5 Mbytes on our Qtek s100 device and
~9.0 Mbytes on our iPAQ 2210
do not discussing difference of rates for these devices I wanna ask - is such extremely low internel data transfer rate normal for nowadays PDA and communicators?
It's really disappointing.
Any advice?
hi everyone, i have T-mobile MDA USA, and i have noticed that everytime i try to copy large files (50Mb and up) from my PC to my SD in my phone through active sync cable it is taking forever...it is really pissing me off, when i use my card reader to transfer files it is a lot faster...does any one know what could be the problem? i thought the MDA has USB 2.0 isn't it supposed to be fast!!??
please help.
thanks
It's simply a bug with these phones which badly manage ActivSync ... The only solution is to use an external card reader as you do
Hello!
I'm just wondering why is it phone so slow reading memory card? even transferring files via activesync is over 10 times slower compare to if transfer to/from the card via usb adapter.
Then, if you install every problem on SD, then the phone become very slow.
IMO it's a lie saying that the phone supports USB2.0 when it's barely reaches USB1.1 speeds internally and externally
Hi guys,
I currently have a XDA Orbit and I'm thinking about buying the Touch2. The problem with the Orbit is the combination of poorly accessible microSD card and veeery slow data transfer rate via USB. Unless this hasn't been improved dramatically in the Touch2, it would be no buy for me.
Does anyone have some MB/min data?
It depends on the connection mode choosen. When choosing to connect it as a "disk", copying a 142MB folder takes about 35s, so it gives about 4MB/s. It probably also depends on the SD card speed and number of files to transfer.
I use already for some yrs "tnyynt tune up". Install attached CAB. Also your PC has faster and slower USB ports, select the right one.
Assume you connect storage card directly to PC and not via phone because that goes much slower.....
Have used several HTC devices (with Mega software) and speed was never a problem.
Hello,
I have MDA (HTC Kaiser with WM 6.0), which I can connect via bluetooth to other cellular phone (LG without OS). Can I use the microSD card of the LG phone in the same way as it was stuck in my MDA?
At the moment I can connect those two devices, I can even create a folder under virtual bluetooth link and in this folder I can see shared data from the microSD card of my LG phone as it was a folder on my MDA.
Anyway via this connection I can only upload/download files. I can not use the files as it was stored in my MDA, for example I can not directly play MP3, use maps for navigating etc.
Thanks for your advise
