XDAIII Screen rotate on XDA II ? - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 General

Hi, a friend bought an XDAIII in UK (Oracnge version) and it has an applet in the Settings menu, called display, that allows screen rotation. Its so good it makes Nyditot etc on the II seem very crude.
Anyone know if there is anyway to get that feature on a II ? Is it part of the 2003 SE release or something specific to the Orange version ?
TIA,
Paul

Problem using Spb Pocket Plus

Hi,
I'm using Spb Pocket Plus with my QTek 2020 (French localization) but the backlight control plug-in for today doesn't work at all... Indeed, the corresponding icon appear but without any handle to indicate current backlight configuration! :?
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for your precious help.
Happy holidays,
Yep
I have the same problem...also problem with battery bar: is working well in term of plugin on today but when I use button i am always on a bad page: for instance when I press batterie symbol I move to Gprs page...
Suppose it s life...
Same for me on an O2 XDA II UK (for Battery Bar) , what I do , is not using Battery Bar , just Program Bar from "Battery Pack 2004" , and instead, I use "Pocket Mon" from Sprite Software Backup Premium .
I also have the same problem with battery pack 2004 using a UK XDA-2 I did email omega one but as yet have no reply/answer
Hi,
Have you look at SPB home page? With supported devices?
Here is the link: http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/pocketplus/support.html#todat_backlight

Thanks...
Thanks for this information (Next time, I will read correctly FAQ)... I will download the tool built by Spb SW and collect all information needed to implement backlight control within QTek 2020, XDA II or other HTC devices! (Nevertheless, it is strange since Spb Pocket Plus seems to support T-Mobile Pocket PC Phone edition which is the same device as XDA II :?: )
Regards,
I have a UK XDA-2 and i have loaded the T-Mobile 1.6 rom, but still the backlight dose not work as it should

PocketPC Themes -> Strange

Hey guys,
I got a problem with today screens.
I downloaded some from: http://www.pocketpcthemes.com
But they all look different on my XDA II (Qtek rom 1.60).
The color is different and the quality is not as good as on the site is showed...
It gets stranger even more, when I use activesync remote control and check my today screen on my pc than its the colors are normal....
for example: I downloaded the Linux today screen
As you can see the colors are YELLOW on my XDA II they show up as Orange...
Could someone clear up my mind?
Cheers

**** @ the XDA II device
yeah 16bit sure dont look as good as it used to :/
maybe it's something a new rom can solve though maybe it have something to do with the "driver" for ati's chip or some other driver related thing if the ati chip only handle the campturing
Yeah I hope a rom update in the future could solve this...
Pity 16bits doesnt work well
yeah it could be a software issues like my 1.66 rom have really bad cleartype really really useless bad cleartype

QuickMark - (CoolSmartPhone)

I saw this earlier (http://www.coolsmartphone.com/news2515.html) and I am very interested in it. Problem is, I can't find the correct version for the my HTC Wizard. (O2 XDA Mini S)
Does anyone know which version I should use?
I have tried 3 versions, 2 of them don't work at all, and the other one seems to have an inverted camera viewfinder, but it scans properly.
Thanks in advance

same problem,i own Omnia 2 and the accelorometer seems to work eratically.it doesnt work on main menu, not even in the programs setting.only works on e-mail and office. Is this a deliberate design ommission from the original i900 which had auto-rotate all across the UI
similarly all the windows 6.5 settings are hidden(today, remove programes, task manager, etc)
Any help???

Hello, I have find with using google Autorotate-1.2-beta2.cab. This works good for now.
Check the forums posted at Modaco, you will find specific tricks to make auto rotation work on all of your applications.
