Orange SPV PIN: - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 General

Hi:
The Kids been playing with my SPV M1000, now I cant get-in.
When the Unit power Up, it asked for a **** PIN.
The Kids cant recall, the new PIN.
Any Input welcome

If it asks for PIN in the Phone Application then use the PUK code provided by your operator to unlock.
If the phone it self is asking for PIN then do a Hardreset. There is no other way to get rid of the PIN.
Success.

Wallaby not recognising SIMs

I have an old Wallaby which I used (on O2 network) before I was given a mobile at work.
I've started to miss the facilities - so I've followed the instructions to remove SIMlock (uploaded xda-developers operating system).
Although I'm being told the phone is no longer simlocked it will not recognise SIM cards (even an 02 card from my wife's phone).
Getting a message to insert SIM and type in PIN number.
Any ideas???

Is it asking for pin or sid code, mamy sims come with a lock, I think O2 use 5555 as the default code. If it asks for sid the phone is still locked.

Unlocking Orange M5000 through Orange

For anyone else considering it, I called Orange last Friday to unlock my M5000. They charged me £20 which will go on my next bill.
I called last night asking if a letter had been sent yet, and while it was sent Tuesday, it obviously caught up in the Xmas rush. So an operator there just gave me the code over the phone.
Its a simple procedure, just start up the M5000 with a NON-Orange SIM inside, and after the pin unlock (if you have it), a window pops up saying phone is sim locked with an area to type something. You enter the code Orange give you and press OK, then repeat this again, and its done!
The £20 will easily be saved by the ability to put in Foreign SIMs when I go travelling.
Hope this is of help

thanx.
Hi there,
Sorry I've been away for the Xams / New year break.....hence the late reply.
The pin they gave me is apparently linked to the IMEI number, but you can try orange uk on +44 7973 100 150 , I guess its worth a try!

insert pin code automaticaly

Is there any solution to start a magician without inserting the pin code.
(it mean that I have another solution to protect it)
Thanks
gguyaz: do you mean SIM card pin or password pin.
Sim card pin - diable the sim card pin in phone settings I believe.
Password PIN, disable the password in Settings.
If there's another issue, there is another thread on this that asked a similar question some months ago.

Or try Omega One Pass, it allows you to use the hardware buttons instead of the pin.

Also with PockenZenPhone can do this

Remove pin/password from Qtek 200

Hi there,
I found the Qtek phone on the nightbus. I could not get it do do anything, the only items displayed is in french and I think it is asking for a password.
Translated the french on google - it says "Enter your password and support on OK". The phone is a Qtek S200.
Is there any way that I could remove this passowod/pin?
I look forward to hear from anyone
Regards
You should turn the phone in to the nearest lost and found or the police so the owner can claim it rather than trying to open it!
Well, if it's the password for the picode of the simcard, just remove the simcard.
If it's the wm5 password thingy just do a hard reset
But I have nothing to doubt your good intentions. And the only reason you want to get passed the password is to find out who the owner is of this phone.
But as someone said above, the best thing to do is to bring it to the closest police station where you found the phone!

No PIN code required, don't register GSM network

Morning!
Ok I reflashed my SGS with I9000XWJM2 yesterday, all went OK.
The problem is, the phone doesn't ask for my PIN code and therefore don't register to my GSM/3G network!
I tried removing the SIM-card and put it back in, but still it doesn't ask for my PIN code.
What's up with this?!
