I have installed the new ROM and now cannot connect to WAP in the UK. Does anyone have the settings I need to get this working again?

I am using the official 1.72.181 UK ROM on my Australian XDA II- connect through Telstra.
All works well, except that I can't access the Telstra WAP homepage- or any other page that begins with wap.[web site name]. When I had an Australian ROM, you had to use WSP://.. to indicate that it was a WAP site- this doesn't work with the UK ROM.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Remember, the 181 ROM has been modified to work with O2 UK's WAP site - using wsp:// will work, but the telsta settings need to be in the My Work Settings, and you need to change the gateway address in the Proxy settings from o2's to Telstra (whatever they are)
Thanks. I should have added that I can access all http://www. [ ] sites- I have the internet settings working fine.
Its only sites that start with the wap. prefix that I can't access, such as the Telstra WAP homepage. I can access other WAP sites, but only those that have the form http://www.[ ].com/wap
IE seems to not know what to do with the wap. [ ] prefix
I have a t-mobile mda compact branded jam with an o2 sim card.Can i just download the gprs settings off the i mate website and they woill work for it?

i have downloaded the u settings from clubimate and installed them but there not working,it says server modem disconnected.how can i make my o2 sim work?help asap as l'm going away this weekend and need it for then!

I tried to setup the TMobile "web and walk" GPRS stuff, but without success.
I get a nice GPRS logo (it's connected) but when going to a webpage it says "can't connect/locate the page".
Using my (local) Wifi connection it works fine, but when on the road I would like to use my GPRS connection...
Note : I'm looking for the Dutch settings...

As far as I know this is the cab file you need to install for the T-mobile settings.

I just reflashed it using the latest (found here) Dutch TMobile 1.6.2.2 ROM (dated 1/11/05)...

Its a cab file that was in the extended rom of a Dutch T-Mobile rom.
Its official and should have all settings for Dutch T-Mobile users.

Thanx for your answers and suggestions, but I'm still not able to get a webpage or email when connected using GPRS (tMobile)....
Using Wifi all is ok....
Anyone in the Netherlands who is using TMobile GPRS on his/her MDA Vario can tell me the settings... On the TMobile website they don't even show the MDA Vario settings !!!!??? (only from MDA to MDA II and SDA).
Note : I tried all of them without success...

The gprs settings are very simple for Dutch TMO.
Just create a 'Cellular line (gprs)' connection with 'access point' internet. That's all no user/password etc., if it doesn't work it might be your radio.

Looks like I was thinking to technical to establish a GPRS connection, and I was looking at other (TMobile GPRS pages/set-up's).
This did the trick !!!! So simple !!!???

I updated my rom to 2.26 english version and lost the wifi settings for t-mobile netherlands. Can someone please help me because I don't understand Dutch.
check oltp posting (above) on Jan 09, 2006, you should see the gprs settings for t-mob NL.
if you stil have some trouble go to the xda-developer ftp site from wiki xda-developer. There's a pdf file for HTC wizard settings for dutch operators.

Hi all, I've searched everywhere even here on XDA and all links with this Cab are dead. I have a new chinese-cloned Touch Diamond 2 T5353++ that dual-boots Windows Mobile 6.5 and Android 2.0 but I need to get the internet working for Windows Mobile 6.5! It shows the Edge icon but it doesn't connect. Keep in mind this is an unlocked phone from Hong Kong/China so there is no setup for MediaNet. Can someone please help me locate this cab file for AT&T US?
