xda 2 mainboard required - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 General

Hi,
I require an XDA 2 mainboard, can anyone assist ?
ps. must be in UK, does not matter if it is locked.
thx

Hi there.
Is your mainboard dead? I destroyed my SD-cardreader in the MDA2 when it crashed on the floor, directly on the SDIO-WLan card and now 5 contacts are broken. Would you sell your old board or at least the SD-reader at a moderate amount?
cu,
Tom

I sell the connectors on ebay - unless you are fairly confident with a soldering iron I'd get a mobile phone repair shop to do it for you. You may also have damaged other componants on the board when the socket was pushed up.

XDA II Damaged connection slot
Hi all,
I had the same problem with my XDA II, sent it for repair and it did exactly the same shortly afterwards, i bought a new battery and charged each one alternatively, but found problems syncronising and eventually gave up.
I have recently bought (my little gem) Xda Orbit, after many months examining what was on offer, I love it its is everything i expected and just a little more. Purchased a 2 Gig memory card and installed copilot on so i have sat nav and all my tunes. needless to say i have a spare Xda II up for offer for spares and such should anyone want to get in touch with me.
there is the Cradle and power charger, 2 batteries and it works well just as long as you dont want to connect it to your pc, anyway im new to this site, would be pleased if someone could point me in the right direction for Orbits here and please feel free to contact me, even if just for a chat and introduction. need to get established here.
cheers all, have fun and hopefully speak soon

I need a Mainboard!

Hi guys! Yesterday I dropped accidentaly my incredible i-mate Jasjar! I really liked it! And now it is dead, it doesn't turns on, it doesn't enter into bootloader, it doesn't soft resets, hard reset, etc. According to the HTC Universal Fault Procedures my Jasjar has a defective Mainboard.
So what I am asking here is if someone has an extra mainboard, or can get me one, I don't care if it is used or new as long as it is fully functional!
And also I need a complete GSM antenna
FRU Main Board part number: 99HAU0XX-02
GSM Antenna part number: 36H00293-00M
Thank you very much!
Use the search, Luke!
I saw a post here yesterday or the day before that was selling a mainboard, and you can usually find those parts on Ebay.
The service manual for fitting them is on the FTP, or, considering how delicate some parts are, you could ask a phone repair shop to do the replacement and you source the parts.
Good luck.
Dear Jedi...
Yes Jedi, I already did and I just found a guy called fluffcat1 that used to sell this type of mainboards, but he doesn't has any for the universal right now. Do you know someone that does???
Thank you!

HELP !!
psipoc or anyone else ...
Still available the 99HAU0XX-02 Main Board ???
My Qtek 9000 randomly locks in the boot-up after the Splash WM5 Screen giving an all blu screen .
I Think it's a memory problem ... some location could be damaged ...
If a program during the use progressively required much amount of RAM and it calls the damaged locations, the device locks and at the reboot I'll ever loop to the lock on BLUE screen ....
Must disconnect the battery for 1 or 2 minutes then start againg hoping it catchs good locations ....
Please help me !

broken charging connector... need a new/used mainboard.

My 2i's charging connector broke. Sent it back to O2's repair centre and they specifically said that the mainboard has to be changed. Anybody here know of any thrifty way to get hold of a mainboard or a something similar? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Vincent
fixed same problem my self
Hi ,
I received a similar device from a collegue.
His charging connector was completely severed from his mainbord.
I opened the device and solderd it back on my self. Device is working again.
If you have te same problem maybe it's cheaper to find someone who can do this for you then looking for a replacement mailboard.
I have to say I had to try it 2 time because the connections where really tiny.
GreetZ
Rob
exactly...tiny...
You're right, it's very small, plus I have fat fingers. Well, maybe I should get someone to do it for me. I was hoping for a short cut solution and not too expensive one as well. I might try that after the holidays..

My atom pure keeps on restarting/rebooting on its own

I recently purchased 02 atom pure (brand new). i havent installed/downloaded anything except for transferring contacts from my sim card. Now while i am using it, it keeps on rebooting/restarting. Please let me know whats causing the problem?
That's often bad connection between the battery and the unit. Try to put a thin piece of cardboard or a thick piece of paper between the battery and the back cover.
super thanks! it worked!

OMG! If this is brand new, have it replaced. It was not designed to have a thin piece of cardboard in between...
Jiggs is right. Assert your right. Have it serviced.
My Atom's still with the service center, for pick-up tomorrow. According to them, they replaced the mobo already. Check out JS Services in Ortigas Center (Jollibee Plaza).
Update: I got my Atom back. They replaced the mother board, as they haven't been able to trace the problem to the battery, nor the casing. I've had it on standby for the past 2 days, and it hasn't gone to reboot since. I highly suggest that you have that thing fixed.

[Q] Screen replacement

I recently bought a new screen glass touch digitizer for my Defy (because the old one was destroyed) and I try to replace it.
I follow the instructions and i think I have connected with success the new touch digitizer with the motherboard, but when I turn on the phone it doesn't working. No touch response. It seems like it isn't connected and is very strange :S
I wanted to ask if this problem might be caused becase I am on CM10. If i flash stock sbf would be this fix the problem?
Looking for some suggestions or ideas how to fix this please.
Thank you in advance

Yes, the old one is "working"... how can I test if the new one is broken? I can't see anything strange on it :s
I also had to replace mine. Also in CM10 and it works. The screen is a capacitive screen. This means that capacity across the contacts changes as you touch it so you can in theory measure it with a capacity tester (e.g. a multimeter). Problem is practice. You'd need to find a connector to attach your multimeter. Quite impossible. As the screen cost me just €5 I'd suggest go and buy another one and see if that works.
