this works over bluetooth, by wifi it's more simple, you just have to configure the wireless and browse the network normally, you woun't need ftp
my badm, i meant for ad hoc device to device connections, (jam 2 jam)

I suppose I'm a noob at this. I really want to get this to work, because although I like the Bluesoleil stack it doesn't support certain headphones. But PAN works great on it...
I've installed MS IIS and the ftp protocol on my PC but don't know what to do. I have 3 networked drives, namely \\ads-1\d, \\ads-1\e and \\ads-1\f.
Please explain how I set up IIS to point to these drives. Or is there a site that can walk me through it? Many thanks!
hi Is there anyway to specify an alternative connetion port when connecting to a ts server from the client on the wm2003se?
i want to be able to specify the following:
123.112.123.50:2424
instead of:
123.112.123.50
any ideas? or any hacks in the registry for this?
thanks
I have the Contivity VPN client on my laptop which I use with a SecureId fob for access to my work e-mails.
Is there a version of this for my XDA Exec that would allow me to pull the e-mails back in to outlook?
Will software designed for WM2003 work on WM5?

Are you ready for a useless answer? Here goes:
"Maybe :? "
Some WM2003 software will work fine, some will work with problems, some won't work at all.
Actually realised that I could do what I wanted to via activesync over 3g or gprs. Don't really need a VPN client after all and I guess that data transfer will be much lower than over a VPN connection. Am I right?

i once enabled the PAN bluetooth connection on my HTC Wizard, it was stated at Network Cards. i reinstalled my rom and it is gone does somebody know how to activate this?
i know what's wrong, i need WIDCOMM for windows CE. can someone plz post it i cant find it on the web
Just a silly question, what is the "BLUETOOTH PAN User Driver"?
I can't see it in the "Network Cards".
WM2003 on Wizard?
Hi, guys, it looks like WM 2003 (on those pictures). HTC Wizard comes with WM 2005. Widcomm bluetooth stack doesn't work for me on HTC Wizard. Maybe somebody knows how to manage that.

PAN is a bluetooth network, you can't see it because you have to enable it
well i had found the widcomm drivers on the XDA ftp once, and PAN connection was enabled after installing widcomm, but now the XDA ftp has changed folder files and uploads are gone ???
