So I went through the Siemens upgrade utility to upgrade my phone to wm2003,...during the radio stack update, it failed, and the whole process failed....there was no longer a protocol or radio stack version when booting...
I have done a flash of the wm2003 software, but it just freezes on the boot screen, all it shows is the 'Designed for Windows Mobile' screen with the AT&T Wireless logo, with A.30.09 showing, G and R are both blank...
is it possible at all to Flash a Radio Stack? I can't connect to my device and run any rsupgrade stuff because it just sits in the boot screen...is it fried? or is there a solution???

If you can't access the device through USB ... AND ... you get "GSM error" in the boot loader screen ... AND ... you can't charge your device
then yes your RSU is damaged ... you better to send it to repair

If the screen reboots, there should be 3 numbers in the right down corner. Do they appear?

yeap they apperared...but not the number just the alphabet like G U...I can get it back to today screen using boot loader , so I downgrade to PPC2002 , I have nothing to do with the radio stack....

I've tried to upgrade radio my current verison was 3.16 i used RSU_V4.21 my telephone was connected to the PC all the time, after 2 reastarts I got 1% error on the phone and update was not succesful. on the boot screen veriosn was 4.21 but my radio was dead, no signal ... nothing... my 2003 rom verison is 4.01.16 please help
Having a little issue with my Mini S, I was driving a long with sat nav running and it locked up, not responsive at all.
So i soft reset the device and waited for it to reboot, however now it some times gets stuck on the boot loader and just displays the os details and hangs

I have also noticed that when its in this state the rom is not readable, if you try and flash the device with a new rom it will report the current rom as nothing, just says its blank, how ever you can flash the rom.
When it is working and you try and flash the rom it will bring up the version details, so im wondering if its not booting due to a hardware fault, any ideas on this ?

i got this p3300 and it doesnt fully turn on.After i press power in remains stuck on the boot screen : the one with the HTC logo and info about the rom:

I tried to flash rom but it fails at 2 or 3% saying image file corruputed which i think its right because i dont think it was unlocked so you can write any rom you want.
I also tried USPL but that i get "NO devive connected" so i cant unlocked my device to write a proper rom into it.
I did all the above with the device in boot mode (record button+reset).
Any ideea?Pls help.

T-Mobile dead loop ?
I have similar problem with my artemis. I have a HTC P3300 from T-Mobile. It started with switching itself out, then it didn't want to boot, then it began to hang on bootscreen and at the moment i cannot start it at all (even the battery is fully charged and it is pluggen in my PC).
I suspect that T-mobile build in a dead loop somewhere in the software or hardware. It looks very suspicious to me that both mdas i had from T-Mobile start to make problems exactly a month or or two after the warranty is expired. and the problems develop in the same way in deteriorating manner.
It could be that the hardware cannot take it anymore and it starts to deteriorate exactly after the second year (handy for two years contracts).
Does anyone similar experiences or anyone solved that problem.
Sorry mates I cannot provide you with any info about my PPC (radio, rom version etc.) because I simply cannot get so far to be able to see that information.

Have you tried the CMON USPL? It's on Shady's ROM (the lite one) run this first! Be in Bootloader. Hold the Record Key (left key) and by holding that press Power key to switch on! Then try to Update your ROM
Hi guys,
my Orbit failed in the middle of a flash (in Windows with RomUpdateUtility).
Now I can only get to the bootloader, nothing else.
I think the CID unlock must have failed somehow, because using the SDcard method I cannot flash any cooked ROM. In fact I cannot flash ANY ROM now! I have tried the default shipped 02 ROM's but they all fail at 5% in RomUpdateUtility.exe thru windows, and also fail via the SDcard method (it sits there forever saying reading SD card).
Any ideas? Any other O2 ROM's I should try? Or can I send it for repair to any one off this forum? Should I bin it, maybe the flash chip is faulty?

I have the exact same problem only mine is stuck with IPL 3.04.0001 and SPL 3.04.0000
When i try the original rom (o2 factory) it goes at 4% into Error 226 (something with the Extrom), any other rom wont work since no USPL... damn it.
Any Ideas on this?
