no problem, i'm using matrix satelindo and o2 xda...u know what, u can even use mms with it although i haven't try it yet...anyway here's the settings :
1. start -> settings -> connections -> connections
2. from the internet tab, select New..
3. fill in the name with anything u want like SatelindoGPRS
4. next the modem part; make a name (SatGPRS)
5. the modem should be Cellular Line (GPRS)
6. baud rate : 57600
7. tap advance and go to the name servers tab
8. fill in 202.152.162.66 at the DNS part
9. OK it and next to the acces point name, u fill satelindogprs.com
problem solved but for your info, don't use radio rom 4.21 for matrix satelindo 64 kb cards, it'll do strange behaviour to ur pda...
hope i can help..

Hi,
I am using an XDAIIi, with an UK-Orange sim (I unlocked my XDAIIi from O2), and my device info are
ROM Version: 1.10.00 WWE
Rom date: 12/24/04
Radio version: 1.00.00
Protocol version: 1337.39
ExtROM version: 1.10.124 WWE
After having set up my GPRS and MMS settings succesfully thanks to:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=13498&highlight=gprs
I installed the "GPRS monitor" on my XDAIIi. The result was that my settings were no longer working, and I tried to re-apply the executable from the above link to reset my settings properly.
After a few unsuccessful attempts, I deleted all the settings and tried to input them manually as instructed in the following link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=7306
Having deleted all settings, I cannot see the "manage existing connections" links. So I try to create a new connection, and get a suprising message telling me that "A connection already exists with this name" when I try to create the "Orange GPRS" connection (interesting because I had deleted it and cannot see it anymore).
I was wondering whether anyone had a fix for this? If I need to hard reset my device, would anyone have the proper Orange (UK) GPRS and MMS settings for the XDAIIi (and are they compatible with the "GPRS Monitor")?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Behnouche
Orange payg settings
does this work for the pay as you go sim on orange as well. Id love to find out...
Cheers
No ideas mate. I finally hard reset my device, input all Orange settings again from scratch, and things finally were sorted out. No clues as to whether it would work on a pay as you go scheme.
Cheers,

I cant sync with bluetooth. Please help
make sure you have the latest rom since this seems to be most stable when doing AS over BT.
On Desktop
1) make sure bt dongle is inserted and all software have been properly installed
2) open Activesync click File>Connection Settings... check Allow serial or infrared connection to this COM port:
3) Indicate your BT COM PORT check your BT software or documentation mine uses COM5, this maybe diff on your desktop.
On PPC
1) Tap Start>Settings>System>Bluetooth Setting
2) Under Bluetooth ActiveSync Setup: tap Start you will be taken to the Bluetooth screen. Make sure both boxes are checked.
3) Under Devices Tab. Tap New your ppc will now search for your desktop.
4) type your passkey and wait for the Desktop to prompt you for a password. Type this password on the desktop to finish bonding.
5) open ActiveSync tap Tools>Connect via Bluetooth and you're done.
I did this but I can't connect still.
Here is my rom:
ROM version: 1.03.00 WWE
ROM date: 11/01/04
Radio version: 1.01.00
Protocol version: 1337.38
ExtROM version: 1.03.166 WWE
your ROM looks old. isn't there a new ROM for O2mini? I suggest you get the latest ROM. anyway with your current ROM it can still be done but it is a bit tri ckier. You can read a step by step how to here http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=544932
sorry for the ignorance. I went to the O2 site and there are no new rom for the mini.
Can you please tell where to get it?
Sorry I didn't know that just assumed O2 had released it since i-mate and qtek have released theirs. I use the i-mate JAM w/ Qtek 1.11WWE ROM. Anyway you can wait for O2's official ROM also or follow the link to HoFo that did the trick before my ROM updates.
I am having all kinds of problems with my GPRS Connection. I have input the settings for Centennial Wireless, my carrier, and everytime I connect this is the message i get
dialed:
private.centennialwireless.com
Cannot connect for unkown reason. To check your connection settings and chem them if needed, tap settings. If teh problem continues, reset your mobile device according to your manufacturer's documentation and try again.
I did a Hard Reset and put the settings in again with the same problem. Any help will be greatly appreciate.

Did you activate the hsdpa protocol ?
No I have not. Can you send a thread or tell me how to open that protocol? Is this done by the provider or on the handset itself?
Also how will this help if I can not even connect to GPRS/EDGE?
I have resolved planning in setting->connection->gprs setting
CHAP Autentication...
Hi All,
We have a client who we supplied 2 TyTns the both have the same ROM:
ROM Version: 1.18.255.3
ROM date: 07/22/06
Radio version: 1.03.03.10
Protocol version 32.34.7010.01H
ExtROM version 1.18.255.106
One of them connects to Wi Fi no problem. The other says the network is available but when you go to connect the network key code is invalid. The key is identical on both devices.
Any Ideas? (apart from a hammer)
S
possibly both devices are using the same device name, try changingboth names to something different
Yes, or go to connections, network cards and delete the one in question and then have it re-detect the network and re-enter the key from scratch. i.e delete the card first not just re-enter the key in settings.

If I want to connect to my WIFI, the BA said that the password must have 8 characters and were wrong. But my password ist longer than 10 characters and I got the right one. The encryption is WPA-PSK, or is only WEP with the BA possible ?

you have to get in to settings/connections/network cards and in the connection of your hotspot ot what ever you use you have to click "edit" and there choose your settings.
