anyone using Alfa xlive bluetooth MP3 with XDAII - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 General

I would like to know , anyone using the Bluetooth MP3 (x-live ) with XDA II. Are there any incompatible problem with this MP3?[/img]

BT
It will only work with 2.20 ROM or MAY BE the new 2005... I have not tried 2005 yet.
You will only be able to play mp3 from the device, not the XDII.

I CAN LISTEN TO AUDIO VIA BT HEADSET

Forgive me if this is not a revelation, but to me it is........ I was playing MP3's today thru my car stereo using my XDA IIi when suddenly I began hearing the MP3 through my Jabra BT250 headset, I was in shock, anyway I disconnected and re-connected several times just to make sure that its not a fluke and it works like a charm...at the time I was using Pocket MVP as I find Media Player crap but it also works with media player.
That's really cool. Do you think it's got to do with MVP itself? Does that hold some kind of audio profile for BT?
I've been looking for this for ages to get skype to send audio to my Jabra but I just gave up. I'm also on the Xda IIi.
hey can you tell us your bt version and build ..also if you know if your bt hardware is 1.1 or 1.2
thanks
it says
BT-PPC/PE Version 1.0.0 Build 3900
am i right in assuming this is the broadcomm stack and not the widdcomm?
Also does anyone know how I could upgrade this version as i am still having problems sending files via bluetooth to my laptop.... my wife has an I-Mate (xda 2) and i can transfer files from her phone to my laptop using bluetooth easily!
Any help would be appreciated
Cheers!
Any luck listening to audio with moto HS810 on xDAII?
Anyone have any luck setting up a Motorola HS810 w xDAII ?
Kindly advise. thx.
Not with the XDA2, but I bought an HS810 once I upgraded to the 2i as the o2 bt clip headset I had wouldn't work. Works great! I suspect the XDA2 only has 1.1 BT profile and possibly the 810 won't be backward compatible?

New A2DP Discovery

Hi Guys,
I wanna share something i found out a while ago.
I am currently holding on to a Motorola HT820 and a BlueAngel and i was kinda playing around with it wondering why i cannot answer phone calls and only can play my MP3's. Here is the solution.
Install the A2DP Profile
Soft Reset
Pair it up to your BT Stereo headset using high quality audio
now, upgrade to build 3900.
Run the restartradio.exe
run the bt upgrade cab file
run the restartradio.exe
Now, pair it up to bluetooth handsfree headset.
This works wonders. It seems to work best on WMP10. I have tried
Mortplayer but, after i answer calls, it stops playing and does not resume.
For WMP10, it resumes fine. I have only tested on BlueAngel and HT820.
I dont have the luxury to get my hands on other devices as yet.
BT upgrade files found here
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=BA_Bluetooth_1.0.0.3900_Upgrade
A2DP details found
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=25443
ENJOY !!!!
this currently works best on WMP 10
You can continue listening to music after your call ends with mortplayer,
you have to disconnect the pairing and re-pair again..
XDAII and Motorola HT820
Hey guys,
I'm contemplating buying a Motorola HT820 but I'm concerned that it might not work with my phone - I have an XDAII with WM2005 1.60A installed. anyone know anything?
Thanks and best regards...
Hi
This sounds like what I've been waiting for too.....
I have an XDA II running 2003SE will this work with this combo any ideas?
Good one... will try it later
Has anyone tried with Motorola HS 850???
Has anyone tried with Motorola HS 850???
So far, i have not tried it on XDAII... but i think it should work..
Can anyone confirm if this is possiable with an XDA II as having read through numerious threads on the subject of Bluetooth implementation with various Wicomm configurations, but cannot clearly identify that the A2DP Protocol can be successfully made to work on an XDA II.
I suspect that this can only operate on an XDA IIi or XDA IIs. My requirement is to get a set of Motorola HT820 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones to function with my XDA II via Bluetooth, I am not really worried about the Phone Headset function I would just like to hear Audio via Media Player 10.
Thanks
I have just upgraded to 1.40 ROM (iMate) with Orange EXT ROM on M2000. I have radio 1.13 and the A2DP profile loaded.
Everything was working fine with the old ROM and wmp9, but wmp10 does not respond to the pause, back and forward buttons on the ht820.
Does anyone have this working on ht820? Is there a known work around?
Motorola BT820 Audio Gateway and a player
I've followed the steps above and now have the two new profiles and have managed to pair my Motorola BT820's without any problems.
I've read that this works best with WMP10 but since I don't have this I decided to try Mortplayer.
Silly question : How do I get my XDAIIs to send the audio to the headphones ? Their is an outgoing connection between the two but the sound still comes out of the speaker on the XDAIIs.
If a phone call comes in then this is directed up to the BT820's
Help
Jason
i have done over 50 hard resets.. many tries and it seems to be an intermittend prob.
@woodrjh
In this way a HP Bluetooth Headphones and a Motorola HT820 works with my xda IIi in a2dp mode incl. the Buttons in WMP10.
1. remove the RunBT file from the Autostart dir -> softreset
2. Install the PDA2K_BroadcomCorp_BTUpdate.cab -> softreset
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/handheldiPAQ/us/download/22475.html
3. Install the HP iPAQ Bluetooth Stereo Headphones Driver Update -> softreset
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/handheldiPAQ/us/download/22475.html
If the error \windows\btceavif.dll in use come, rename it with Resco File Editor and try again the driver update.
4. Put the the RunBT file back to the Autostart.

does this method enable your bluetooth headset to receive calls?

an idea for O2 mini BT A2DP ...

I have installed 'BCHS_FOR_POCKET_PC_OZONE.ARMV4.CAB' to my O2 mini, and everything is qutie good, except some dropouts while playing the songs, bt connect and disconnect from song to song, cannot use third party music player.
The other thing is that I have installed a patch for Ipaq h2210 to extend the A2DP to it's bt function. The patch is from the official site of HP http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/f...tch from HP .
Can it be possible to do that ?

I also tested to install that CAB with my Dopod 818 Pro too. But, it didn't
work well like you. How come? After installing and soft-reset my dopod,
my BT Headset can't use at all. I also can't use Windows Media Player
to play any mp3 songs and can't use phone from my dopod as usual.
Can you help me? I want to make my dopod support A2DP in order that
I can use my iTech Clip S38 BT Headset to listen to mp3 or other sound.
Thanks !!!!!

Hey grease, could you send me the .cab file which gets installed. Somehow I am not able to install it directly, always says No PPC device connected or something like that.

A2DP from windows mobile 6 to hearing aids?

Hi!
I'm not sure if this is the right forum, so if I am wring, please let me know where to post it.
I would like to use my older smartphone (an HTC touch diamond 1) as an mp3 player for my daughter. She has hearing aids capable of using bluetooth, the device actually receiving bluetooth is known as "Oticon Streamer".
I tried installing A2DP toggler, the program seems to work in general (I can connect to the Oticon Streamer, it is recognized as bluetooth headset, I can only switch A2DP on while streamer is actually on and connected), but eventually it does not work: sound comes always and only through the speakers. For playing music (mostly mp3) I am using mort player.
Do I need special software for playing music files when I want to send them to A2DP or is there something I could try to make it working?
Any ideas are appreciated! Thanks!
You don't need any 3rd-party add-on/SW to get bluetooth working for A2DP. The MS bluetooth stack on WM6.1 on HTC diamond1 should have everything you need. I have the same HTC phone and I also use BT stereo headsets which supports A2DP. Just pair the hearing aids if it supports A2DP.
