I hold the red "End" phone key down for 2-3 seconds, and that drops the GPRS connection.

XDA2 Connects to internet after rom update

Hi guys
I have updated to the latest O2 Rom and since installing and after a hard reset the phone keep dialing into WAP network GPRS and stays logged on for hours. I am continually having to press and hold the red phone button to disconnect.
Anyone have any ideas how to prevent this from occurring?
Many thanks
Matt
Try using GB-SOFT GPRS & Audio Tweak

GPRS disconect fault

Hi all
After I download my email or my tomtom traffic info, the gprs disconnects. This is a pain as it will not reconnect without a soft reset. I get messages like ' no modem at the above number' or 'the remote party has ended this connection'.
Im with O2 and ive just installed the new radio update.
Any body else have this problem or got a fix for this.
Thanks in advance

Press and hold the "end call" button (the red button), after 5 seconds it will disconnect GPRS.
Hold the RED button for more than 5 second, it should normaly disconnect you. You can also use the third button in the com manager.

Found this after a quick search
There is lots of threads regarding wifi which I don't have time to search through for you
Try typing 'wifi' into search box and see if you can find your answer
Let us know if you still can't find it and I'll try playing with my phone and get your solution later tonight
