Hi All,
I have an O2 XDA II Mini which isn't charging correctly. THe memory battery charges fine but not the main battery. Does anyone know the pin-outs on the XDA II Mini (battery) so I can test to see a charge is being applied so I know it 's the phone or the battery?

Very interested in these batterys.
Whats the warranty and how long would it take to ship to Aus?
If the picture's anything to go by, this guy's selling the OEM battery on eBay for under $20 including postage.
Doing a search on eBay for "HB4F1" (the battery code) yields many cheaper results, though their photos indicate that they're aftermarket rather than the original.
If you do decide to buy one, I'd suggest you refrain from leaving feedback until you've had a chance to test it for a few days to confirm that you're getting at least the same life as you got with your original battery.
Based on past experience (with other 'phones), you'll never get anywhere near the rated capacity with "no-name" (and in "no-name" I also include Mugen et al) batteries; they're really only good for emergency back-ups rather than replacing your existing battery. And you'll NEVER get more than the OEM battery's capacity, no matter what the aftermarket manufacturers tell you.

$99 is very pricy for a phone that costs ~$300. AND the the phone becomes bulkier, no thanks.
$99 for one battery? I prefer buy 3 or 4 standard bateries and swap when they gets empty lol
I would love to have one of these especially the 3600 mah
ive heard that 1800mah is something like failure or fake, it doesnt last that longer than the 1500mah one. also except that the 3600mah is soooo fat i think its really expensive also considering the fact that it might be used and of course not certified
I buyed two of this batteries. My batteries production date 1,5 year ago and it's lighter than orginal battery. These batteries are waiting for emergency call (if orginal batter empty in a emergency situation) I never charged them and i dont know performance. I am just tested them on my phone. They are %50 charged and phone can working with them.
Have they the same size as a normal one?
the site shows a big back cover.
Nope, they are fat fat that's why they had custom back cover.

Can I use an extended battery?

Hi,
I've installed WP7 from Yuki/XboxMod but is it possible to use this battery:
http://www.dealextreme.com/p/2600ma...tery-battery-cover-case-for-htc-leo-hd2-91228
The biggest one?
Or is it better to buy this 2 pack?:

I need to buy a new one because I can't do one day with it..
I've heard that some rom's does not work with it.
Greetz,
Kevin
I bought similar extended battery, but failed to gain any significant increase in battery life. I am using Xbmod/Yuki BTTF ROM. Even if I charge with external charger, the phone doesn't seem to recognise the extra capacity.

you can use the bigger battey and use an external charger, that will give you a full charge, to use it you just pop the battery out and restart the device when it reports low, that usually works at least it does for mine anyway
course if you got an cradle with external charger then you can buy a couple of batteries an keep some spare
HTC Extended Battery
Hi guys,
I'm planing to install WP7 on my HD2 but I don't know if the original HTC extended battery is supported once I intalled WP7 on it.
I see that you were talking about some others extended batteries but the one made by HTC self. Is it supported?
Thanks in advance

I have the genuine HTC HD2 EXTENDED BATTERY, BA E400 2300MAH myself, and use it in substitution with regular battery...
Yes it'll work but your battery status readings will be incorrect i.e. the charge status bar in top right corner. However, the battery will last about twice as long as the stock one, but your batt status would be on low for that matter or as the guy in post somewhere above suggests, you can restart the phone when the indicator is low and get back accurate batt. level reading.
With that being said, EVEN THE GENUINE BATTERY WON'T CHARGE WHEN IT'S IN USE/IN THE PHONE. You're going to need external charger or charge it in Android (dual boot).
Good Luck!
Re : the 2 pack deal with external charger
aM i right in saying they cannot be charged when in use??
Would this have any repercussions with the genuine battery? Ie charging when in use?

Revive Palm M505 with Nokia battery?

Hi,
I just found my palm m505 from my storage room. The battery is about to explode so I removed it but I can't find cheap price for battery replacement. So I wonder, is it possible to used nokia battery which is Li-ion 3.7v. Palm m505 use Li-polymer 3.7v.
http://img.ihere.org/uploads/e76f9fa965.jpg
I did cut the wire but I'm not dare enought to stick the cable to the nokia battery directly. Is it possible to use Li-ion on Li-Polymer devices?
Thank you for any recommend.
Best Wish,
Jeng
Its ok now... I just try it myself. -.-' Thanks anyway.
Just saw this thread now, surely it worked for you. Everytime when you will use battery with the same voltage will work, doesn't ,atter if it's li-jon or li-pol

There can be big differences using batteries not designed to be charged by the host's charging supply, the battery chemistry is vastly different, as will the rate of charge/discharge when moving from Lithium polymer, to Lithium Ion.
Both of these batteries require different charge adaptors and charge rates/currents.

mpj ideos x5 2500mah extended battery?

The original battery I got from Huaiwei Ideos X5 U8800 earlier this year is short of amazing, it sometime turned off w/o any reason acting as if it doesn't have anymore battery only half hour! I've got some oem batteries, they worked but can not offer me more battery power.
So I am looking for an extended battery that will fit in this phone and is compatible with it but will have longer battery life of a standard sized with brand name. I found one from mpj( sorry that i can't link yet) which likely meet all my requirements. Anybody using this battery? Does these kind of batteries really deliver more battery time than stock?
Thanks

Actually there is no way that either of all standard size extended batteries are the mAh they claim, probably offer ur phone several hundred mah , but still think it is worthwhile compare to those oems:laugh::laugh:
Hi
You can try this on ebay: - MPJ Bateria 2500mAh para AT&T Impulse 4G Huawei M860 Ascend U8800 IDEOS X5
Alternatively Mugen Power has X5 batteries (extended)
These are premium batteries and are expensive
http://mugen.co/huawei/huawei-ideos-x5-u8800h.html
I got a new battery from the local Huawei store and get 1day+ on CM11 rom
don't know how these will perform
