Hi All,
I have an O2 XDA II Mini which isn't charging correctly. THe memory battery charges fine but not the main battery. Does anyone know the pin-outs on the XDA II Mini (battery) so I can test to see a charge is being applied so I know it 's the phone or the battery?

Does anyone have the xda2 extended battery? i would like to know more about it, what is the size, capacity, will it posible to charge on the xda II cradle's 2nd battery slot?
Check out ebay for batteries. This forum is not the place for it.
I bid an O2 xda II on ebay. The battery is used up very fast even the phone is in standby mode. It wouldn't last for 8 hrs. Is it faulty?

I have this newly purchased O2 CDA Neo with German Rom. It was all working well...and i was charging the phone through my USB cable for over a month. Now after 4 days all of a sudden the battery wore off, and shut down the PDA, I tried recharging the battery through USB (12 hours), and tried startng it...but its not starting at all....If any one of you have come accross this kind of situation Or know anything about this issue, Please reply & help me......

I have the same thing, have no idea what to do!
First time it happened i exchanged my device, but the problem was still there and i thought the battery were dead. i bought the new one- and it work!!! But now it happened again!!
are you two draining your batteries completely? if so, then that's the reason. always start charging when you see 10% battery left. a popular myth is that ALL lithium batteries like to be drained. this is only the case for older lithium batteries. what you have to do right now is either buy a new battery or revive the old ones by "hot wiring" them from the USB port.

Hi Thanks for your replies.....its true that i forgot to charge my PDA before it totally discharged....What is ment by hot wiring?? And how do i do it...I read something abt hot wiring of cars for threft...but how can that be done to batteries through USB Drives??

hi i recently got a xda exec cheap from a charity shop as it had no charger ive got a charger that fits and seems to charge it but i left it on for 7 hours last nite and it only charged 70% i tried using a usb cable from an old nokia ngage and it charges it aswell but at the same speed does anyone know if this is a common fault that could be sorted with a new battery ect? Thanks for looking.

I would recommend to find someone lend you an original one (I mean the same charge amps and so on)
USB charging is not the more recommenden (Don´t know why)
If same problem continues then yes buy a new battery
In the Universal Wiki, there is a section related to battery problems with some solutions, you can also try one of those
