bluetooth headset doesn't work with o2 xda2

hi guys, i bought a new o2 xda2 from my friend. he also had a logitech hs02-v bluetooth headset working with it. i took the headset to try but it didnt communicate while the xda2 had paired it.
i tried other headsets but no one worked.
xda2 finds the headset, make a pairing(i enter the passkey 0000) and then nothing....
so please help me
Connect the headset to the PC using the utility provided and change the paskey to any other(Like 1234) and then try pairing it...
Most probably it should work fine...

Did you turn your "Bluetooth Profile ON"?
After you paired your bluetooth-device.
You need to turn bluetooth on (by click at bottom right at Bluetooth icon).
and To turn bluetooth headset on, You need to click at Bluetooth Profile to make it on.
The Bluetooth Profile is stay on your Today screen.
:?:  I have exactly same problem, using latest official rom and stuff - no bt tools or something.
Update: Works with BTTools  8)
Update of update: It seems that headset needs pairing each time after you turn it off and on.
I just got the logitech one this morning, it works ok with the MS stack, but I prefer using the widcom stack.
When I use the widcom stack the icon saying that I have the bluetooth headset is there, but the calls dont get channeled to it.
Is it possible to use the widcom stack for headsets? Or is it simply an incompatability?
ok i simply hard reset the device and the profiler brought bluetooth profile. now its ok.

My MDA-VARIO doesn't connect with my new cheap BT headset

Hi! I bought a cheap BT headset (ERGENIC BLUETOOTH HEADSET ERG BT-001). Althought my Orange C500 connect perfectly with this BT headset, my WIZARD don't. The headset is detected and wizard asks me for the password (0000) but after some seconds it says: connection impossible and back to the password screen. Any help from you? Thank you.

Is the wizzard a bluetooth 1.1 compatible ? the headset is a 1.1 product.
Maybe is that youre problem.
same problem here, same headset...
Same here.... I was guessing that the Wizard was compatible.... but hey you never know with MS - that would be too easy to follow a standard.
I'm hoping the new ROM which seems to be serfacing will solve the prob.

BT Internet Sharing and Headset at same time?

Hi.
Recently I ve bought a UMPC Samsung Q1U. When my headset (Nokia BH-700) is connected to my Athena (always) is very difficult to connect my umpc to internet using the Pda Bluetooth PAN. When I turn off the headset then I can connect without problems. Someone saw this problem? Someone hasnt this problem?.
Dani
ok not sure if this will help but try to connect the headset after you connect the q1u. Just FYI the bluetooth for the x7500 does not have EDR
No such problems here. I use Jabra 500v.

Thanks. Later I will test with a motorola I ve at home
'No luck. Ive tried with HTC Athena and TYNT with two headsets: BT-2OO and BT-700 Nokia and all the possible combinations and always the same problem.so It seems a problem between HTC devices an nokia headsets. And If I disconnect the headset and connect to BT PAN the I cant connect the headset until I disconnect the DT PAN connection
Dani
Just tried with MotorolaDR-BT30Q and all works ok so it seems a problem of nokia headsets.
Dani
Sorry, DR-BT30Q is a sony product. No problems with sony. I ve tried with Motorola 500 and again same problem. I suppose these headsets uses some "well known" port used by PAN. Doesn somebody know how to avoid it?, or could you tell me a good headset that hasnt this problem ??. (I use Sony headset in the gym and is too big).

BT keep alive possible?

hi all,
is there a programme that would keep the BT link alive?
the problem is that my BT headset connection drops after a while and i have to repair the set. the headset is virtually unusable due to this....especially during driving.
i have checked the headset elsewhere and it works perfectly. tested it with Nokia 6600, Htc prophet, samsung mobiles.
thanx
And i thought I was the only one with this issue
When i have my phone linked to my BT carkit after a call ended a) i cannot receive any other calls or b)
the BT connection is interrupted...
really annoying
I did start with an application that will disconnect the BT after a call has ended and re-initilize it
would this work for you?

Yes it can be done via this small application that I've attached to my reply, basically what it does is it lets configure which folder to receive all files received via bluetooth on you storage card or phone memory as you please and it gives extra infoon bluetooth transfers like ETA and transfer rate and "IT KEEPS BLUETOOTH ALIVE at all times" so you can receive bluetooth files even when your device is not active.
