Generic IrDA Modem - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 General

Hi folks, sorry if this has been asked before. I did a search before posting. Currently running Ipaq 3660 and Ericsson P800. With Orange (UK) with 30mg GPRS connection for eMails, Internet etc. Pretty usless eMail client on P800 so I have set up Ericsson as a Generic IrDA modem on Ipaq (pocketPC 2002). Everything works great, connection wise.
Thinking of purchasing 02 Xda II but O2 signal is weak near home base. Would only be able to use GPRS through Orange most of the time. Would I still be able to connect with the P800 through Xda II, as above or simliar i.e. Bluetooth connection with dialing into ISP.
In summary: Use the Xda as an eMail client and P800 as the modem?
Many thanks in advance.

problem with ipaq bluetooth dial up networking with xda iq

Please help!!!
I run an xda iq on o2, with a hp ipaq rx5900 travel companion pda.
I'm trying to get my iq to share the gprs connection via bt with my ipaq so i can browse the web and download my e-mail to it on the move.
I've tried configuring my ipaq to connect with the iq through bt dial up networking using the following:
Dialling no. *99#
Extra dial-string: at+cgdcont+1,"IP","mobile.o2.co.uk"
I've even tried configuring the o2 GPRS settings on the ipaq directly i.e: u/name as mobileweb, password;password, primary dns; 193.113.200.200, alt dns; 193.113.200.201, but nothing works!!
Anyone have any clues?

How to share X01HT's GPRS connection with Macbook?

Hello all,
I am not sure if this question has been asked in the past. However, I've tried to search a bit in the forum but failed to find the answer. So, I am asking you guys for help.
I have owned a X01HT with AKU 3.3 Dopod Hong Kong English ROM. I was able to use bluetooth on my old laptop to pair with my X01HT to share the GPRS connection, i.e. X01HT connects to the internet thru GPRS and then the laptops pairs the X01HT and share the GPRS connection.
And then, I have bought a all-new MacBook and would like to do the same thing with my MacBook and X01HT. However, I don't know where should I start. I have paired the Macbook and X01HT with bluetooth. But then I cannot find the network services which is provided by my X01HT.
Does anyone know how to share the GPRS connection with my X01HT on MacBook?
Many thanks for your help.
Cheers,
Bowen
