But you have to be a Source O2 registered developer to get it. Surely someone here has access? I'd be happy to host it for download, and I can receive any size e-mail at [email protected].
are you sure?
I'm a registered O2 developer, and I don't see it on their site!
If you are sure, what's the URL?
..lance
ahh i see where you mean...
...i see it
http://64.244.24.19/xda/RUUv1.09_CEv4.00.05wwe_O2_Ozone.exe
http://www.sourceo2.com/O2_Developers/Launched_devices/O2_xda/Software+Trial.htm
This requires a seperate user/password that they must be sending out, not just the sourceo2 developer login. So, I can't get it. Ho hum.

Yeah, I actually got approved quickly for the developer program, but no answer on access to the 2003 upgrade. It says for PRE-selected developers only. Damn.
Can someone make a mirror of the 2 files?
Can someone make a mirror of the 2 files or give the pass of the related sites?

Hey Krueger, glad to see you here too, I also have the same .nb1 file that Kruger has. Need any Xda-developers dude to test it (I don't want to screw up my machine) or anyone else who want to test it.
Is ripped from a working XDA 2003 phone
the file is 31.7MB
E-mail would also work, I have unlimited file size on my e-mail.

What FTP software do you use? I've double checked it, the anonymous account works. Do you want a copy of WS_FTP?
I tried it too, it tells me this:

Connecting to (ftp.mywirelessoffice.com).
Connected to (ftp.mywirelessoffice.com) -> IP: 64.5.51.19 PORT: 21.

Im not 100% sure this is what you guys are looking for.. although when you register an account on the o2 site, it then showsup the option to download a thingy called 'email configurator' which is what I use to get back my GPRS settings & whatnot.
It seems to provide a few settings that are lost during a hard reset & I think o2 connect is in there too.

However no point asking, as e O2 conect from PPCSG.com only works for O2 Xphone II, not IIm.

hey guys, have got all of me web,wap settings for my XDA2 but messenger will not connect. can some one give me some pointers or settings? thanks
No, it wont
O2 BLOCK all but http access, you have to fiddle port 8080 to get http working most of the time.
If you get msn working, you will make millions of o2 payg users happy, because it just doesnt, via any means so far.
best workaround I found was emessenger, because it's HTTP based.
ill find away round it,i can crack software so i can crack this
icq,msn,aol,yahoo
if it's any help to you guys i use Agile messenger
it has icq,msn,aol,yahoo
http://www.agilemobile.com/agile_messenger.html
yahoo even has a file sending option

patch the connection loop to NOP?
HTTP Tunnel
Is there not an HTTP tunnel client that will work on the pocket PC? I remember they used to block MSN on the uni network but HTTP Tunnel got round it.

Dude!!! GOOO for it what are you waiting for!!!
ok, here's the generalised simplicity of it;
to connect to MSN using a proper client, then basically, you need support for HTTP CONNECT method, if it isn't supported, then there's little you can do other than use webpage access.
so you can patch opcodes... huzzah, it just doesn't work like that.
I have an email id at my own domain which uses ports 1010 and 2525 (pop3 and smtp respectively). However I cant find out a single way to change the ports on my Xda II Mini from the default 110 port. Any suggestions or working programs? Any kind of advice or help or programs (paid and free) preffered.
mmm that's the same thing i need..... need to set the smtp port 25 to 2525 cause my provider is blokking port 25.
if you have any luck than please let me now
Look for pop3 in your registry, the port value is right beneath it in the same section. Couldn't find the smtp port.

mmmm damm it doenst work on my tmobile mda vario... still using the smtp.gprs.....
I've upgraded my Vario with the tmobile
ROM VERSIE 1.6.2.2.NLD ( I had the ROM VERSIE 1.3.2.3.NLD) and now it works for 1 smtp account. The other one doens't. That one still goes trough smtp.gprs....tmobile
strange thing is that there are 2 accounts on my vario that connect to the same smtp server with the same settings (tripple checked it.) one is working like a charme and the otherone.....smtp.gprs.tmobile.....
But never the less. It works for one. so maby the next upgrade it will work for both (or more)
