after a try to get the Developerv1.2 to unlook my Kitchenrom2003
with Activesyc1.7 the crash happend. Sync started but was brocken and
now after a hardrest the Screne ist with sw Strippes.
What can I do to come back to an good ROM????

2. how you installed the 1.2 ?
3. what do you mean by unlock "Kitchenrom2003 with Activesyc1.7 " ?

usualy if upgrade fails, u retry it, and it starts over again.
but im not sure about the stripes. i think u need to do it via sd card/bootloader method now.
How to with sd-Card now??
Now what I need to do it with my SD-Card/Reader?
All oK I got back to DevROMv1.2 with SD-card!

Anyone have rom PW10B1, i tried to use adaptrom but until step 4 everithing stop and my XDA screen becomes hang (white screen) I need to know how to solve this problem because i can't access my bootloader..i want install PPC2002 3.17.03 version.....please help......
I had exactly the same problem using 'PW10B1'. In the end I decided to upload the ROM via the SD card..everything worked fine then.. not sure what the problem is though or how to solve it.

You can access the bootloader ? i tried push power botton and do soft reset in the same time but show only OZONE on my screen. If you solved already the problem like this please let me know step by step how to do it. Thanks for your repply.

i just have regitered over here after i tried alot with shop's over here to change the language of my T mobile MDA from GER to ENG
i searched all the forum to find out where i can get ENG ROM and the correct way to falsh it with USB cable ... am not expert to flash it in bootloader mode

Actually, if you unmark "Add software and modify ROM" option, you get the original ROM - 4.01.16 ENG is the official T-Mobile release of WM2003...
Man i downloaded the 2003 ROM and tries to upgrade my PDA but it killed it ... ActviSyn does not recognize it any more
what do i have to do now do i have to try the bootloader way ?
if yes what do i need to do it and how ?
Have a look around that forum.
Now I can tell you this: activesync will not recognize it - simply try running the update again. If doesn't help - see forum for exact instructions how to run the SD update.
PS: what actually happened?
I made a 2003 rom for my XDA I T mobile device i tried to upgraded it but it hangs up and a mseege appared asking me to soft rest my device and try the operation again ... now ActiveSyn not connecting to the device and i dont have an SD my Bootloader is 5.25 is this loader is bad ?

A softreset is a restart of your device. You do it by putting your stick in the little hole down on the left side.
A hardreset performs a blank installation of the System stored in your Rom. All applications an data installed will be lost. You can do this by unsrewing your stick, putting the top in the little hole down on the right side, wait for about 60 sek. and do this again....

I try to reflash my touch dual from NL to CHT, but.....
It looks I forgot to unlock the CID and the reflash programe has stopped on 14%, after that I only can get in the "3 color screen" ...
I try to down a lot of different version Niki's ROM ( also tried 'wizard_romupgradeutility_noid' ) but all of them has hand on 1% or even just report the Erroe [294] : invelue Ventor ID ...
As I learn from xda, it looks only reflash the ROM by miro SD can solve my problem, but I can't found any information regarding how to make the reflash function micro SD for NIKI ....
Anybody can help ..... :'(

As far as i know, you can't reflash your rom by microsd. The only option you have is to wait until valvarin has finished his unbricker. Still, I don't know when the unbricker is finished. Sorry for the bad news. Maybe the gurus have an idea. Keep your hopes high and succes!
What I can do now ???
At this moment, my touch dual only can start to "3 color screen" mode, and also can strat a ROM reflash programme but never can be 100% finish... ( Erroe [294] : invelue Ventor ID / system hang ) ...
Or is possible if I flash back the original ROM ???
Does anybody have the original HTC Dutch ROM from T-mobile ???

I was trying to intall a new rom in my Pharos but the computer crashed and the instalation was interrupted. Now Pharos doesn't conect, and when i try to install the rom again it says invalid vendor id or update error. I think is dead
Does anyone have the original Pharos Rom WM6 Eng ? or know where i can find? so i can try to save it.

If all else failes send it to HTC... and theyll repair it .. will probably charge you since you tried to flash (an unofficial) rom but its better than having a brick.
Maybe someone else has a better idea?

If not,...
Try the method below to get the Tri-color boot screen. Though it is for ELF, it usually works to all HTC devices. Surely..work on Pharos..
I recommend Hold down camera key => Press/Release Reset Button at the back => Release camera key after you have the tri-colour boot screen showed up.

Then you can flash an original ROM... Note it is OK that 'Active Sync' symbol show "NOT CONNECT".. U can still proceed with Flashing!!!!!

Yes, im able to enter the reboot (the tri-colors boot screen), the only problem is the rom i try to flash i get the ERROR vendor id or update error.
I'll try that original rom.

i flased the tmobile rom with ur given link now it doesnt go past the initial screen
all it says is
ipl 3.08

gsm 02.69.21
os 3.8.2.21
and stays ter all day until battery goes dead.
i can get into bootloder mode
please help me let me know hw can i get my phone up and running.

You say format failed? Then forget your Device. We have only one case of reported fix for that. But the fix has never worked again. So I think your Device is dead.

We don't have any way reported to work more then one time. I'll do some research for you but I think it is hopeless.
same thing here on one charmer ... I can enter bootloader, can flash a rom - t-mobile english versinon WM5. but device hangs while booting and on hardreset format fails.
Is it possible to flash another rom that works? whitch rom?

It can be Hardware fail but I don't think so. At this moment we don't have a fix but I have some ideas. To test them I'm at the moment talking to an other person with that problem. Till now we don't have any good news but we are still working. Maybe there is hope soon.
