Anyone have rom PW10B1, i tried to use adaptrom but until step 4 everithing stop and my XDA screen becomes hang (white screen) I need to know how to solve this problem because i can't access my bootloader..i want install PPC2002 3.17.03 version.....please help......
I had exactly the same problem using 'PW10B1'. In the end I decided to upload the ROM via the SD card..everything worked fine then.. not sure what the problem is though or how to solve it.

You can access the bootloader ? i tried push power botton and do soft reset in the same time but show only OZONE on my screen. If you solved already the problem like this please let me know step by step how to do it. Thanks for your repply.

my customer came to me with BOOTLOADER Screen 5.17 GSM OK, so i upgrade using SD (Patch ) and upgrade rom 3.17..., and radio 4.21,
After all complete, setup screen is come out, but i cant get out from Alignn Screen.
Can this problem solve using Software Sulition?? or it have Bad Screen ???
When i test using TEST Menu, touch test said PASS.... ???

Mine is doing the same do a reset and then leave it for about 5 Min's at the loaded screen
The tap screen and then try to do align if it freezes again reset and try again sometimes it takes me 2 or 3 times to get it done
Once done it works fine until next hard reset
Only started doing this recently don't know what is causing this

Ok, first things first:
Since you are new to this, are you sure you preformed a hard reset?
It is done by holding power + camera + comm manager buttons (one on the right, two on the left) and pressing with stylus in the reset hole at the same time.
A message should appear asking you to press 'send' (green phone button) to confirm reset.
If this does not help, you may have a serious problem.
Please answer the following:
Is the device fully charged?
Phone will fail to boot if the battery is too low.
Did you install any software right before this happened?
This should have been resolved by hard reset, but just in case I am asking.
Did you change the ROM, attempted CID / SIM unlock?
This could require more serious measures than I can advise on.
I did exactly the same thing which you mentioned.But even then it is stuck at the same screen.
Ya u r right I unlocked my mobile using a software from eBay.The unlock was successfull and I tried to insert T-Mobile sim, it also captured the signal and I was able to make and recieve calls then after that I wantedly switched off the phone and then tried to start it, there got the problem.

I'm having the same problem with my G4 QTEK S200:
Attempted to upgrade to WM6 Rom using smart1_wm6_pp8mb.exe
After reboot the phone got stuck at the QTEK Screen
Tried Hard Reset (Camera+Power+Comm+Reset) followed the steps with the same results (bricked)
I also tried re-flashing the rom back to the factory one using RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_QtekWWE_Ship and ROMUpdateUtility-NoVendorID.exe in Windows Vista with WMDC (Windows Mobile Device Center v. 6.0.6873) and the phone in boot loader mode (tri color screen) with working USB cable, with windows firewall disabled and symantec AV disabled as well, RUU keeps saying error 260 "the update utilitiy cannot connect to your pda phone..." .
Do you think I should try this process using XP instead? No matter what i try i keep getting the error 260
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Got it fixed!
it was definately a Vista issue. once i tried it in XP with ActiveSync it worked like a charm and i got my phone back up and running. also used spb backup and restored all my settings.

I raised the same issue 7 months back after that my phone got recovered automatically and there were no issues till last month. Last month onwards it is again got the same problem and now it is permenantly stuck at that screen what ever you do.

A rom reinstall on xp solved my problems on that one. retry a couple of times! It may not work the first time! hard reset as well...
Try an official wm5 rom just in case

7. The device will be resetted after RUU(rom update utility)finishes
8. Repeat the WM6 upgrade,from STEP 5..

To mention my phone is from orange-UK. I got the orange rom from our FTP site and did the flashing/update what ever you say.But still it is getting stuck at the same IPL/SPL screen. Iam very much worried that I will not get a proper solution for my problem.It will be very grate full if some one resolve my problem.
just seems strange...how did you fix it last time? did it just start working again? A random guess would be that the camera button got liquid spilled on it or is stuck in.
If the camera button is pressed in the phone will go to 3 colour screen every time it is turned on.
It won't do any harm if you try to press/move that button to see if u can "unstick" it, not likely I think but u never know...
I have serious problem with my PDA SPV M2000 after upgrade to WM6. After upgrade i try to restart my PDA with Hard Reset, but can see only 4 collored screen. I can acess only bootloader mode and nothing else... PLEASE HELP

the grey screen with serial v 2.07 is the bootloader mode...
maybe a reflash will do the trick...
how did you screw up the upgrading process? did you accidentally unpluged the cable? is it a corrupted file?
I have never experienced this, but, if i were you, I would reflash it. if nothing good come up,then maybe the file you are using to upgrade is corrupted...

Ibhave a tmobil MDA amd i did an upgrade to windows mobile 6 and now my MDA is slow in most of the programs also the SMS when inserting any messages the words do not show after at least 10 sec.

I had the same problem. From time to time whem im flashing my phone its happening. After few soft resets it'll be ok.
I have received one elf with is stucking on calibration menu,everytime that i press all the 5 positions again it keeps on asking for it and i cant get to the phone.
Phone is detected by activ syn ,i want to upgrade the rom but as i'm having this problem i cant upload cert and enabl files.I cant do hardspl nothing.
Is there anyway i can repair this phone.It has got 2.26.00 spl.

I had the same problem.... but I just hard reset my phone with the styles and started my phone again and then pu it fast on my computer and started the upgrade to 2.28 and the my phone worked correctly.
Maybe I've made some mistakes but that's because im 13 and I live in Holland

i agree with marcbrug .. try to do a hard reset .. that is by holding the End & the Call Buttons and soft reseting the phone.. when the confirmation msg appears press the "Middle" (the largest) button..

It's happened to me a couple of times. I just re-flashed the ROM (hard reset did not work).
Can you explain how i can flash the rom?
Cos as the phone gets stuck in calibration i cant install cert and cab files in the phone.So i cant do hardspl and neither flash the rom.My spl is 2.26.00.

You could probably still install it manually if you are able to connect to ActiveSync during the screen calibration.
First, try installing "myMobiler" which allows you to access the phone from your PC (like in Remote Desktop). See if you can get any further than the calibration screen with that.
Otherwise, download the "itsutils" package from here:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~itsme/projects/xda/tools.html
Then, use "prun" to remotely launch the CAB file from the DOS window:
e.g. C:\> prun.exe \Windows\myfile.cab
I have never tried this command with CAB files but it worked with Windows Mobile EXE files.

Download the appropriate Orig ROM and then connect your phone to the computer. Next, Go to soft reset the phone but hold the camera button in until you see a Red/Blue/Green/White screen. Look for the letters USB in the lower left hand corner. If you see this, then you can run the .exe file and the flashing will begin. Just follow the directions on screen.
Remove Hard SPL from bootloader
Hi,
Anyone out there knows if we can remove hardspl from bootloader of Wing. Problem is my mobile displays splash screen, then switch offs by itself. Its been quite some time that I have hardspled it and have been using it. But recently I am facing this issue, so I am trying to move to original RUU and try if it works.
So for that anyone knows if we can remove hardspl from bootloader, because I am only able to enter bootloader. Moreover I tried several original roms from Flash Center as well as through SD card as well, but still be SPL version is 4.70.yang. Anyone knows any other alternative.
Also, if anyone has faced similar problem then kindly advice how you resolved.
