Now I cant use USB, GSM and XDA is exremelly slow, wallaby reports GSM error, no T-Mobile signal, nothing, PC cant see XDA, in fact it cant recognize XDA on USB, please help.. already installed SE ROM 1.2, many thanx, hope its not dead..
of course freeze occured during an update..

I tried to update Radio Stack on my O2 xda ... After confirming to copy files needed to upgrade my xda restarted and began to upgrade. Suddenly it asked me for the my Pin SIM Card and then hanged !
My bootmenu in ver. 5.15 is accessible, but it shows Gsm Error.
I have also another O2 Xda and I tried to copy through Bootloader "WinCe + Boot to SD" from good xda and restore on my "broken" xda.
But the problem is still ...
I don't have a serial cable to copy&restore "GSM to SD".
How can I repair my O2 Xda ? Is there any way ?

Hi there
Try to execute the file on your device \\Windows\RSUpgrade.exe. After executing it flashes the radio ROM. If it works, you have the old (but the working) version.
I did this and I could switch back to the previous Radio Stack version.

I cannot do nothing on my xda, because after turning it on I have white screen with "blue line" on the top.
Your xda is toast. Ring O2 and get it replaced under warranty.
ok i have a siemens sx56, i think version 3.14 software, i bought a serial cable off ebay, and tried to use the xda manipulator, the pda tried connecting but with no avial the software was saying searchign com ports, i followed the direction on this site, of softe resetting and wat not, didnt work, so i downlaoded xda unlock, i managed to tranfer that o my phone, said error findin lock code, wat should i do now, shold i ugrade with the special edition rom, will tha xda manipulator work than, i just need to get it unlocked, but i would liek to reset the call timers and change the imei because i foudn this phone. please let me thank guys
i am dumb my rom verios is 3.14.03 eng, radio version 6.12, protocol 324e4, i cant use xda manipulator, tried xda unlock says 'error getting unlock code' , tried to install rom but it says i have to have the power cord and serail cable connected at the same time, which is impsobile because the are the same port, unless i buy a usb if that does both from whati heard, so wat should i do, help me out guys, thanks
Help Tryed updating the ROM lost power now phone in bootload mode any time try flashing i get a 120 country code error
use MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe update again!!
go to the xda website from O2 and download the rom connect you xda to your computer then run the rom on you pc and it will install it's self i had the same problem and this worked fine :lol:
I had a problem while flashing to the 1.04 radio ROM... Basically, my computer bluescreened with an ActiveSync USB driver error (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL), they're ugly ones.
I had to take the battery out and power the unit back on, it stuck at USB 1.02, but I used the supplied MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe tool and it picked it up fine and is currently flashing (again).
I hope my PC doesn't reboot the sceond time round... If so, time to find someone else with a PC I can use in these University halls

i recently recuperated a XDA, WAllaby, O2 , type : PW10A1. I have been able to flash the ROM to the XDA developpers ROM but the 1% GSM error i can't get solved.
My battery is flat and when i boot in the boot loader the XDA displays after a while GSM ERROR. THe device is also very slow and does not connect through activesync.
I have tried using the http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Wallaby_HT_GSMError solution but this does not work. I have also been looking for the famous repair.ZIP but can't find it anywhere.
Can somebody please help ?????

System msg like, wrong file for device or something.
I read about this problem and die answer was to install wm2003se.
I downloaded it from here:

But it wont install.
I get the Update windows like update from 4.xxx to 2.xxx
If i press next the wallaby restarts and nothing more.
After 2 mins the update tool said about connection Problems.
I have connected via the Wallaby USB Cradle.

Is your Wallaby unlocked? It could be that if it isn't, you may be trying to flash a rom not meant for it (and hence, it errors out).
