I really miss my old s100 button mapping. Like in phone mode the right button brought up the call history. (most missed) Any way to get this function to work on the wizard ?????
Best regards Lars
gaustabl - can you try this app out for me.
Install it, go to your programs menu > vijay555 > vjcallhistory and give it a pop.
Please report ASAP if it needs work! Either here or on my website!
http://www.vijay555.com/index.php?Releases:VJCallHistory
WM5 devices only! Only tested on the Universal and emulator though.
If it works, make a donation or click on an ad on my webpage eh?

It works, but i still would like to map it to one of the left/right buttons.
Thanks for your reply
Best regards Lars
try following this post, it can be done
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=33212
If you specifically want it mapped to dpad left/right, I think ButtonMax is the only software around right now that lets you map on a per app basis and using the dpad.
Mapping to the soft menu is easy enough.

Have tried some programs now, Mortbuttons and buttonmax. Have a problem with getting rid of mortbuttons. It uninnstalls, but next time I start my phone i get a message that it cannot start mortbuttons, and hangs for a while.
Buttonmax seems to do what i want, but i cant find how to start the call history. I cant get it to record a macro either......
Best regards
Lars
I've had a play with Themegen ce, and read the help file. I've also read the info here.
But...I still dont get it
Can someone explain what it is I need to do (from within themegen?) to be able to change the colour of the top start bar, and bottom bar in order to match me theme?
thanks!
BaseHue
With WM5 :
See Help File ThemeGenCEEn.chm which is given with the application.
Click on ThemeGenCE job button.
Click on Key BaseHue in the index of the page.
And you see all explanations for this key.
Don't forget to check the checkbox Create BaseHue Key for the theme and leave the Form by clicking on Validate button, if not BaseHue will not be integrated in the theme.
Thanks again benthon for a great piece of software. It seems to be almost complete now and all wm5 tweaks are possible. It seems a bit back to front though can the wm5 settings be default and not the wm 2003 or an option to change this - as more and more devices are wm5.
Cheers
p.s. can you give us any hints on upcoming revisions?
Thanks for your encouragements !
If i have time this summer, i will do a version with WM5 settings by default.
I will give you informations about this.
Forum.xda-developers was a great help for me to develop and improve ThemeGenCE !
Cheers as you said and friendly, BenThon.
I'm curious whether some of the more knowledgeable participants could have a look at my original thread in the Trinity forum and comment on whether a fix via a registry tweak is possible or it belongs in the "too hard" basket.
I've created a thread in this forum as I feel that my original thread is not receiving the proper exposure & some of the replies seem to detract from the topic at hand.
Cheers.
you can also use your keyboard and select the arrow up / down key for a few seconds to trigger the alphabet search (big letters). I realize this isn't exactly what your looking for, but probably much easier then using the scroll wheel.
You also might what to see if you can find a way to tie a hard key to the function up / down of the scroll wheel to trigger this function.

And that's basically the aim of this thread - to throw a few ideas around in the hope that someone might see it as a challenge & be able to come up with a workable fix.
As I don't have any programming skills, I don't know how difficult or easy it is to change the default behavior of the scroll wheel when opening Contacts. Hence, input from the more knowledgeable users with programming skills will hopefully clarify the difficulty of incorporating such a change.

Thanks for the link. Will have a look at it.
Could please someone tell me how to make the up/down page button in WM6 to scroll a page up/down when pressed? Now I've managed to make it run from links to pages up/down when pressed, but every time after I use the page up/down button, I have to tap the screen to allow another up/down page button to work. And this is very annoying when I use the skyscape medical programs. Is there a way to make the up/down buttons move a whole page up/down when pressed, in any application / program?
Sorry for my bad english.
Thanks for support.
Scrooling problem in WM6
Could someone download and install any trail program from www.skyscape.com and then try to scrool up/down pages in it to see what's my problem? Maybe some of you would find a solution to that . Thanks.
Hi, can you put a direct link for download (to not have to create an account with skyscape)
WM6 scroll problem in skyscape progams
Yes, you're right...so here is the link to get a tryout of my problem with skyscape in WM5 and WM6 also:
http://rapidshare.com/files/136148894/abclabdata_ce.exe.html
The scroll problem was one cause for me to switch back to WM2003SE. If someone could help me by finding a solution for this problem I'd be glad to resume using WM6 . Thanks.
Have you tried contacting Skyscape support?
this issue is present in all devicse which run wm6 & wm6.1
and up till now i did not found any solution if anyone find one please
tell us
well if it is present on all devices the best way is like kheechun said, sontact skyscape support and inform them for the bug in their software
Hi, is there any program or tweak to add one or more new softkeys on the bottom bar besides the original left and right softkeys?
The new softkey can be associated with different shortcuts for quick program loading/menu display/convenient operations on different programs' interface, (not just today screen). So it will give users an easy DIY method to improve some programs' users interface.
Thanks!

There are many great programs able to do what you want, welcome to the forums, please refer to this link for search results to get you start on the road to answers, it's not hard to use the search button before posting a new thread, okay

I did have done the search work quit a long time before posting this thread.
Actually I know lots of ways to re-map the softkeys and hard buttons. I also found the solution to add new options in the softkeys' menu list.
But my question is to ADD one/more new SOFTKEY. I do appreciate if you can just confirm me that you do have seen any solution for my question. Then I will do the search work harder but hopefully .
Thank you for your reply.

Actually I know SKMenu can do this job, in some way. I am seeking a simple solution/program, which is more flexible and powerful for the above-mentioned purpose.
a far as i know there is no way for that. but if you need so much buttons i would use one of the many launchers.
Wisbar Advance 3 can show one more Button, I think!
