downgrade to 5.15

Hi guys,
I have an XDA with 5.17 Bootloader and like to downgrade to 5.15, are there any side/ill effects in doing so :?: :?:
BTW, if I need a 5.15 bootloader ROM image, where can I find one :?:

Can i ask why you want to downgrade?

Can i ask you why you want to downgrade ? what are the things you can do with Bootloader version 5.15 which you can't do with 5.17 ?

Bootloader 5.17 has an added security 'feature' that makes it harder to write the ROM to SD card or read a ROM from it.

Wallaby Bootloader V 5.15/5.17 needed-->HELP

Hey Guys,
could someone give me a link to the Bootloader 5.15 or 5.17? My E-Mail: [email protected] . I need this becouse I think I´ve got a crashed Wallaby with 32MB RAM (English T-Mobile Version) and I gave it the 5.22 Bootloader from another Wallaby with 64 MB RAM (German Version of T-Mobile). I´ve got the damn GSM Error post at the Bootloader startup. So maybe it is becouse of a german, and newer Bootloader version. So if somebody could PLEASE MAIL ME A Wallaby A LINK WHERE TO DOWNLOAD THE BOOTLOADER (or give a post where I can download it) I would be very thankful!

I could offer you a 5.22 bootloader.
I don´t believe that you´re problem is because of using the 5.22 bootloader from a german device on an english device.
Have you done a Radio Stack Upgrade that failed? If it´s a new device, have you already contacted your service provider? Had the same problem (GSM Error) about 1 1/2 Years ago, and O2 had changed the device without any problems...
If you want to try my 5.22 bootloader, give me a PM, and i´ll sent it to you....

Hi mate, but why would anyone be interesrted in 5.22 knowing it doesn't recognize ROMs on SD cards ? ... is there a fix for this issue ?

I´ve got no problem with ROMS on SD-Cards or something... but I dont know something about a fix...

Need Help with O2 xda wallaby 5.22 bootloader

Hi i have a O2 xda PW10A1 it doesnt work anymore.
A friend of my whas trying to upgrade it and his pc shutdown by 99%
and now de xda doenst work
I can enter the bootloader sometimes it says GSM OK and sometimes it says GSM ERROR what must i do now
How must i upgrade the xda or must i downgrade it

Where do i get the file for Download the .nb1

Use the rom from your friend, download from the ftp, cook your own one....
If you have the Update-file in exe-Format, you have to extract the exe file using e.g. winzip
Then you get an nk.nbf file. This could also be used for flashing....

Hi, i tried to upload XDA special rom and update failed, now i can enter in Wallaby bootloader (5.22) and says gsm ok. Is pw10a1
My question is how to make it work again. Before upgrade, i made a backup in sd card, but don´t know how to restore...
Off course, pda can´t connect with activesync.
Now i want to know how to restore ROM with spanish lang.

Xda Orbit from German to English. Please support!

Hi to all,
It seems that I have very comlicated situation. Firstly, I have flashed my german rom with extended customized rom and now i am stucked at my O2 screen and nothing happens. I can just enter to boot loader mode. When I enter to boot loader mode and when I want to flash with HTC od DOPOD or any wwe rom I get eror 244 - no valid ID.... I can not use my XDA orbit any more or boot it to windows so I would really like someone to transfer to me his experience. Please help.

...or please if you know where to find Xda orbit GErman rom to download. Since no one can update to WWE his non WWE rom I would like just to make my Xda usable with old German one. Hmmm, ironicly NOW I CAN not find that german rom to download... Please Help!

i cant quite follow on what you mean by "flashed my german rom with extended customized rom".
did you fiddle with your extrom or what?
nevertheless, eror 244 - no valid ID, means you are flashing an incompatible rom. this is due to your machine only accepting o2 xda machine code roms. only way to get passed this is to acquire supercid, meaning unlocking your machine via http://www.imei-check.co.uk/c3unlock.php
in order to flash the htc or dopod roms.
since there is no o2 xda rom around, akaik, you will not be able to regain your system, unless you are able to flash an alternative rom, which needs you to be supercid. havent heard of anyone being able to dump a rom properly yet, neither being able to reflash it to another machine

I'm Junior Member, and I have exactly the same problem that you have. I need the original Rom of O2 XDA Orbit so I can return to wm5 or wm6 then I can connect to activesync to unlock the phone, after that I can install other roms... please someone reply to us the link to download this image...
