i called tmobile and compained about the phone... the phone was frequently powering off and what not... anyways, thats not the point
i need to return this phone back to tmobile. before they give me crap about flashing it. i would like to at least install the stock ROM. i have downloaded the file
RUU_Leo_1_5_TMOUS_2.10.531.1_Radio_Signed_15.34.50.07U_2.08.50.08_2_Ship
from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=655653
the progress bar isnt moving up... any help getting this phone back to stock would be greatly appreciated
How do I set my TF to complete stock. My power button is half-way stuck in and a pain to press, so I am going to send it back and get a new one.
But before I sent it back I tested to see how good the CPU in this one is. Anyway, how do I get it back to complete stock?
This thread help me out a LOT.

Also another method is to just reflash it with a ROM from the Asus site.
How do I do that second method?
If I use that first method will the people I am returning it to be able to tell it was rooted and OC'd?
So I gave my sister my EVO which was running Cyanogen, and she took it to a Sprint store to get it activated and they had no idea what was going on with it -- apparently no one in the store had any idea about CM7 or even rooting for that matter.
Where can I get current s-boot on / pc36img files (or whatever I need) so I can walk her through getting the phone back to stock. All the other threads I searched didn't have valid links in them anymore, unfortunately.
Thanks much!
You should be able to just flash the stock ROM here.
If you are taking it into a store, you shouldn't have to restore s-boot on. But if you really want, you can try searching for a Sprint RUU.
I received my Kindle as a gift and after trying to find some use for it I just don't have any so I want to sell it.
Does anyone know how to go back to stock without screwing up the Kindle. I found one or two threads but one of the threads ended with a guy saying "Don't do this will brick your kindle". The others just seemed very untested for the most part.
I just wanted to make sure to use a safe and working strategy for going back to stock. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm willing to use any guide/links I just want to make sure I don't use a guide that ends up bricking the kindle.

Just use twrp to flash the update.zip found on amazons website. Once you download it, you will have to rename it to whatever.ZIP instead or whatever.BIN. once that's done, go to settings on the stock fw and hit device, then factory reset.

Thanks! That's what I've read to do but confirmation just makes me feel better about doing it.
I've done this and it should work. Removed TWRP, FFF and unroots the device. I had to do this to send my KF back to Amazon due to a hardware issue.
An method is to place the stock update-xxxxxxxxxxx.bin at /sdcard/kindleupdates, then go to Device in the settings menu and tap on Update. You may have to reboot before you are allowed to select Update.
I'm in a quandary. I bought a used Moto X XT1595 32GB from Amazon Warehouse and received it yesterday. Looks like the previous owner never removed his/her Google account from the phone so when I try to run it for the first time I'm hitting the "Verify Your Account" screen The rom currently on it is Lollipop. When I went to recovery I found out that not only is it rooted but it has TWRP 2.8.7.0 on it. I proceeded to download a MM rom and flash it it, everything went well, the phone booted but still returned me to the Verify screen.
I called Amazon and explained the problem and they offered to accept it as a return. This is great but they no longer have any used ones to replace it with (32GB Black for $279). The phone purchase was a bargain and I'd love to keep it if I can bypass the ADP, otherwise I will return it.
Is there any rom or anything else I can do to get around this? The phone otherwise is in great shape. Thanks
Factory reset in recovery didnt do the trick?

If the device is rooted and contains TWRP, shouldn't you simply be able to wipe/factory reset from recovery to eliminate the security? Did you do a full wipe before flashing MM? I can't imagine that Android Device Protection would persist through a full wipe via recovery and ROM flash. Also, did you update TWRP before flashing MM? There is a newer version 2.8.7.1 here.
You are out of luck. You will have to contact the previous owner. There is no way around it.

Have you tried this restore to stock tool for windows? Worth a shot.

I see no reason why this shouldn't work.
Definitely worth a shot OP.

Nope, you need to do a factory reset from the settings menu.
I used flashed 5.1.1 from 6 without doing the reset in GUI, and sure enough the device protection kicked up.
I did see a post where you can use a rom with persistent ADB enabled, use ADB to launch the settings menu, and factory reset that way. Since TWRP is installed, you might be able to use that route?

While I was looking into this subject I came across this video. Might be worth checking out, @ItsDon.

Everything I've read online says it cannot be done. I tried everything from changing recoveries, to flashing 5.1.1 & 6.0 roms, factory resetting everything etc. but no luck. Google really has this thing locked down. The link you provided however worked perfectly! I was just about to give up and send it back to Amazon but you saved the day - thank you
