Hello guys, so Im looking for a brand that has warehouses in europe and their quality is good. Im looking about mekede but they dont have an organised website as podofo does. What is your opinion about podofo products? Im not looking for the cheap ones but something that will last and be fast when running more than one app
Warehouses and good.
The brands are made up chinese sellers of various factories, Various types.
As forest once said....picking a chinese origin greybox android head unit is like a box of Chocolates.
Read forums instead of expecting others do your work for best outcomes at xda.
You can try here:
Auto-Radio Xyingly
Auto-Radio Xyingly
xyingly.com
It's the European site for Isudar reseller.
They sell mostly topway TS10 models with their T72 units.
I also bought a V72 that is a FYT based model but I don't know if they are still selling it.
If I remember right, the shipment is from Poland.

Hi naghtan, i am Spanish and I am new in this world. I bought the last month one radio in Aliexpress with Android 4.4.2, and I found some problems in the software.
I am looking for help to introduce in this world and I ask me if you want to speak with me, because I want to know if I can develop or modify these Android softwares.
Thanks you! Regards!
These guys http://www.carjoying.com have warhoueses in EU and in the US to help lower costs and shipping issues. They are probably one of the most popular head unit companies right now as well.

Which are the original manufacturar? Hui Fei? I will send an email to them...
thanks!
I have bought from autopumpkin German warehouse. I am happy with the unit. Their prices seems a little bit better than joying if compared similar specs.
I also bought a Pumpkin last week. Received it within 5 days and off course without import duties as it came from the German wharehouse. Was a little disappointed when I checked the version that it is a MTCC head unit but apparently these can have both 4.4 and 5.1 installed. Reason to go with Pumpkin is that it has modular connections and it has a DAB+ box with a window antenna (almost invisible). Radio reception is excellent and Wifi range as good as my phone.
cons: external mic lead is too short, the radio is way bigger than standard 2-din and I need to cut the fascia for it to fit in.
Witson (or sommething like that) also has a EU warehouse.
Usually the sellers that has the possibility to send within eu mentions this (it os a selling point).
I got mine 2 months ago from a seller that doesn't has a Eu warehouse and I had to go through custom, and the dhl fee was actually higher that the actually taxes....
Therefore the customs taxes is not sommething to worry about. You should focus on getting a quality device from a seller that has a good customer support. Also shipping fee's can be high, so pay attention beacuase some sellers prices can be bigger for same device but free express shipping.
So after doing a lot of research today and browsing these forums, I've become gunshy on pulling the trigger to purchase an Android head unit. The ones I have been looking at, such as Joying, Seicane, etc., apparently have terrible customer service. With most of the brands being based out of China, it seems doing any sort of warranty work with them is going to be an absolute nightmare, especially shipping costs. With this being said, what brands do you guys actually recommend?
I have found a unit I particularly like from Seicane, but I would highly prefer somewhere that has some sort of US support or is based out of the US.
Thoughts?

I'll probably bite when they give the 4GB option to it or the next step up if they step up and don't take 4 steps back lol.
I have a 2014 Prius where I am looking to install a head unit like this from Amazon. However, my main concern is that this specific head unit has only a PX5 (which I believe is an older CPU), 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of ROM storage. and will only support up to Android 10 (no Android 11 support). However, this unit (according to the seller) also supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for an additional fee (which is only an extra $40).
On the other hand, I have come across these head units on Aliexpress like this where they are running the PX6, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of ROM storage. However, my main concern here is I live in the United States, and I have never purchased stuff from Aliexpress, so I am not entirely sure how "safe" it is purchasing it from Aliexpress compared to Amazon, where if something were to happen with the item or any kind of issue arises, I know Amazon customer service is a lot more easier to contact. At the end of the day, I think both units add up to the same price with the added CarPlay option (excluding tax of course).
My understanding however is that both of these units are pretty much built from the same factory in China and just the seller throwing on a brand to the unit. Therefore, I wanted to ask, should I just play it safe and purchase the unit from Amazon even if it has lower specs compared to the ones on Aliexpress? Or are the units I shared from Aliexpress a lot more faster/speedier and would be worth purchasing through Aliexpress? The main reason why I am looking at these units are because it would look nearly identical to the head unit already on my car and would even have physical buttons which I would like.
I am open to any comments and feedback!
Hey folks
A few years ago I was following PX6-based head units here and a few reputable Aliexpress sellers seemed to be the go-to. Now it seems PX6 are still regularly discussed but I can't find mention of anything newer - could someone confirm for me if there is a better specced SoC that has become the new norm for these chinese manufactured units, and who is selling them? Or are PX6 based units still the best on the market? My primary concerns are stability and responsiveness, hence wanting a well supported, mature product that is known to either have a good ROM from the factory or support for one of the ROMs the legends here on XDA have put together.
FWIW, I am after either a standard double-DIN unit or double-DIN with oversized display.
Cheers!

There are a lot resellers of PX6 units. I self bought a Teyes CC3 with a new CPU. The competitors of Teyes are King beats and Joying who uses also the new octa core cpu. The Teyes and King beats radios are quite thin so they fit in almost any car (if your car is supported with Oem panels for in the dashboard) Teyes and King beats are popular in Russia and Malaysia. There are no dealers in Europe or the US, but i hope they can find a dealer in Europe because i bought the radio now on Alibaba.
Hey,
I'm a bit new on XDA so i don't really know how to ask / where to ask what i'm looking for.
For the past weeks, i've been looking for a new Head Unit for my Toyota Yaris 2007, with Android auto and Apple Car Play. I've read a lot of differents forums, and they all agreed that if i am looking for something good, i should take somthing with the UIS 7862 and 6gb of ram. I was looking for something with these specs, that is smooth and don't have a lot of stutter/lags, with good audio output quality.
I've found this one : NaviFly 7862 6gb/128go but with shipping price it is around 340€, a bit too much for me since i am looking for something around 310€ max. (Also from forums, NaviFly is not a really good brand ?). Since i am living in the EU (France exactly), i was looking on Aliexpress & Alibaba for a price with VAT to be included.
Do you have other head units to recommand in my price range for my car ?
Thanks a lot in advance for any help
