Samsung Tab S6 Lite ( No wifi or Bluetooth Toggle) - Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Questions & Answers

Hi all
New to this section I have a Samsung Tab S6 lite , updated to latest firmware in May 2023 and I have no Wifi or Bluetooth. The Wifi and Bluetooth toggle switches which I can touch they turn blue and when back on the home screen nothing. go back in settings and toggle Switches are off again.
I can't connect to Wifi or turn Bluetooth on also can't downgrade as Binary has changed to 3.
Wondering if Wifi module has gone corrupt along with the Bluetooth module. Can I change the two modules and where are they on the board ?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

IIRC the communication module is built into the SoC, and you'd need extremely specialized tools to remove it...and getting a new one would be pretty much impossible as chip makers don't sell their chips on the open market, but rather to OEMs who build them into products. Think nVidia and AMD - they don't sell their GPUs as chips only, they sell to manufacturers such as EVGA, ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI etc who build the boards and install the chips onto them.
You probably could on the other hand buy a replacement main board, but at that point you might as well pay a shop like uBreakiFix to do it.

HTC X7500 - can't connect to two GPS antenna for topographic relief

Hello, my name is Manolo and i'm a surveyor. I'm trying to use my HTC X7500 as a data controller for topographic relief. I own two Topcon hiper pro gps antennas than can communicate with a controller via bluetooth or RS232 cable.
My problem is that when i connect via bluetooth the athena x7500 to the gps antennas, it can see both of them, but it can't hold always the to connections separate at the same time. 99,9% of times i belive the athena connected first to one gps antenna and second to the other one, but at the end i understand it gets the signal only from one. So, to bypass the problem i tryied to connect the athena to one gps via rs232+usb adapter and the other one via bluetooth, but i can't get the rs232 connection. It seems that only Hp ipaq hx series can handle the rs232 connections.
Any suggestions?
Any software that manage bluetooth connections?

Thanks,
Manolo
I don't know if this is relevent, but here is a hint...
When I used to have a bluetooth gps antenna, I had to set up an outgoing com port dedicated to this antenna.
Have you created two different outgoing ports in the bluetooth options, one for each antenna ?
The guy on this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=515103 - found a usb-to-serial solution for his problem. Maybe he could help you. He also mentions some sort of hardware/driver he's used.
Hope this helps.
Thank you MysterD for answering.
Yes, i tryed to give a different COM to gps antennas, but with no success.
For working with this GPS antennas Topcon gives you also a PPC/Controller (named FC 100), with the antennas. So, HTC 7500 should be an emergency controller that i bought when the original controller got broken and i sent it to the assistance.
So, i checked the Software settings on the original Controller, and it connects on the antennas via bluetooth always on COM8. Yes, same port for both the antennas!
Infact, when i start the software:
1) it scans for bluetooth devices
2) i select the first antenna (a base antenna that i live in a point and don't move it)
3) it disconnect from the first antenna
4) it scans again for bluetooth devices
5) i select the second antenna (rover antenna, that i bring with me during the mesuraments)
6) the software goes into a mesurament menu and o start working.
On the HTC i must search the devices first and than start the software. That's the problem! If i give the same COM8 at both bluetooth devices at the same time, HTC gets confused.
Thank you Wovens.
I'm gonna try the drivers. Let's see if they work!
And there's no place in your software that would enable setting that first antenna should use port COMX and the second one COMY ?
Also, have you tried disabling the feature that lets Windows Mobile manage the GPS ?
On my Diamond, i go to Start > Settings > System > External GPS ("GPS Externe" on my French rom) > Access tab ("Accès", the third tab...) > Uncheck the only option on the tab (manage GPS automatically "Gérer GPS automatiquement" ...).
Yep, i think i already tried, but i'll try again and let you know it tomorrow.
Thanks
Okay,
assigning different ports to bluetooth devices seems working. But there is always something wrong: i can't start mesuring when i get into the mesure page. i don't know, i'll try to figure it out. Thanks anyway.
To connect the cable to the athena i probably need a driver for windows mobile. I'll try to find it.
Thank you very much guys,
Manolo
You're welcome.

HD Touch + 6.5 + in-car advice please

Hi, i recently got a HTC HD Touch on Orange which i bought on ebay. The phone already came loaded with WM 6.5 on and so far i love it except for one problem. I have a Datsun 350z with intergrated bluetooth. When i tried to search on my phone it couldnt see anything, so this morning i upgraded my phones ROM to the latest Dutty's_HD_WM6.5_5.2.23016.5.0.3_Leo_R5. Since then i can search and find the bluetooth device of the car, input the pin code for it and it is added in my devices tab, however nothing appears in the "Select services to use from this device" section.
I am wondering if nyone had any idea if i am doing something wrong or whether its jsut that my car doesnt support the phone? I was also thinking about reverting back to WM6.1, would that work? Also, how do i go about getting a vanilla copy of WM 6.1?
Any help would be much appreciated,
Regards

Just a quick update. I can get the phone to connect to the bluetooth module in the car but its not easy. Basically when i put the keys in ignition that bluetooth gets power, i then have to quickly search for bluetooth devices on my phone and then it will connect. Would be nice if the phone just connected everytime to the car like my Blackberry did. Is this hardware or software problem please?
Not that anyone actually cares about my problem but i thought i post the answer up for anyone that might be struggling in future.
What was stopping my Bluetooth working with my car was having WiFi on. When i disable WiFi the car + phone works perfectly together. In my particular situation i use my phone to connect to an ad-hoc network, and because the phone is not connected to the ad-hoc when in my car the searching constantly is causing the problem. Whether this would be the same with infrustucture mode im not sure.

(Work in Progress)NFC for all SGS2

Hi guys,
Yesterday I was thinking about how to enable the NFC sgs2 not have this technology, so I thought that using bluetooth or wifi direct you might also enable nfc
Android is not a developer so I need someone who can create a program that "hijack"the signals that are transmitted via the nfc nfc chip to an external device via bluetooth or wifi direct, then I did this I will create a hardware device composed of the NFC chip and a receiver / transmitter bluetooth or wifi direct to hide behind the battery, you will be able to receive the signal and then sending it to the NFC chip.
Does anyone know how to help me?, I am completely new in the Android paronama.
Think you need an extra chip for that, not as "simple" as hijacking a signal.
^
From what I understand, I think he is suggesting an "external"/standalone NFC device that will communicate with the phones via Bluetooth or Wifi.
@OP
I suggest you look for NFC capable android-arduino (open source dev boards for android phones).
Like this(I think this is exactly what you want to do as that board all needs is a BT module and an android program to interface with the board.):
Arduino to Android IO on the cheap (aka Poor Man's NFC)
http://jdesbonnet.blogspot.com/2011/05/arduino-to-android-io-on-cheap-aka-poor.html
I think the only advantage of NFC technology is security.
It was intentionally design to attenuate in a very short distance for security sake.
If NFC signal can be transferred to another wireless signal, then why we use NFC in the first place.

Need professional Help, android HU wifi not working

I recently bought Android HU for my mercedes E 2005 form Isudar China.
Android 8.0 Octa core 4gb Ram and 32GB rom with DSP.
After finishing installing it. I tried to turn on the WiFi but there was no way to turn it at all (it stay in off side). I also notice that the MAC address for the WiFi is 02:00:00:00:00:00 , which I think it is wrong. In the other hand the Bluetooth is working but i couldn’t use it for Internet (it work only for calling and music play) and I can’t send or receive any file using Bluetooth. I bought TB-link WiFi dongle but didn’t work I also tried to use 3G dongle, it also didn’t work. When I connected other device to USB (DAB) it works. I asked the seller what to do?! He didn’t give me answer. I need professional help. I don’t know if the problem is hardware or software. Because the device is totally new, and from beginning doesn’t work.. Every help is appreciated.
No one has or had the same problem?

H96 Max+ 32gb RK3328 Bluetooth not working

Hi all
I have weird problem with my h96 Max+
basically whenver i toggle bluetooth on in the settings, it either doesnt look like its fully enabled. or if it toggles completely, then when i back out of the settings page, and immediately go back in to check whether its saved that setting, the bluetooth setting will have turned off again immediately
i have also tried restarting and unplugging all devices. I have even flashed it from Android 8.1 to Android 9 which uses a newer UI. nothing has worked and i cant get the bt to enable
I have also plugged in a usb bluetooth receiver. The light turns on but nothing happens on the software or settings wise
Any ideas to troubleshoot this?
One random google result for the OpenEleec forums for their software suggested it has to do with Ethernet. Which i have tried unplugging to no avail
Thanks
