Z-Link app not found in Android head unit - Android Head-Units

I have an Android Head Unit with the following specs:
Android: 9211A_00017_V001
Android OS: Android 10.1
XY AUTO: F7.3
I want to use the carplay functionality but I can't find it anywhere.
Any advice on where to get/install this to my head unit?
Any info really helps!

Questions regarding a YT9217B Android Head unit XY Auto (8227L) YT9217B_00002_V004_20

I just bought a fairly cheap Chinese Head unit for my 2005 Accord. The hardware is not bad but the software has some issues. The manual is as always horrible and the seller has no info on Software Updates or a link to a Website that has them.
Does anyone have a link the stock Firmware just in case I decide to mess with the unit and mess thinks up? I am more afraid with loosing the Climate Controls and making the car dangerous to drive (no heat, AC etc) in bad weather conditions.
In addition is there a link where I can get the latest version or a better version of the App? If I flash a different firmware do I need to change the CAN parameters to match my Vehicle so that the Climate Control works properly?
The Specs are the following:
Android: YT9217B_00002_V004_20190815
Abdroid OS: Android 9.1
XY AUTO: 3.1 (8227L)
CAN BUS: 3.0 (8227L)
DDR: 2GB Flash: 32G
CPU: A& 1.3Ghz x 4
MCU: 3.1 (8227L)
In case I flash a non stock firmware do I have to reprogram all the Climate buttons of the unit?
Or maybe it would be better to root the unit and install CarWebGuru or Agama?
Thanks for the info

Give the search a try, seems there's info on: YT9217B
What is the best way to root this device? I basically want to upgrade the radio app and just use a 3rd party home app. I there a recommended method for OS 9?
Did you catch some progress? I have the same unit on the Passat car. All is working quite well - we need "simmple" root, but for this head unit and android 9.1 is not abvailable. We don´t need any big update. I´m looking for FM RDS unlock, more CANBUS aplication, contacts APK and music improvement - thats all.

Autochips AC8259E (A53*8) ROM

Hi all,
I've been looking for an aftermarket headunit for my Mini Cooper S (year 2007), and found several on Ali. I'm particularly interested in the below unit:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001184671816.html
Questions:
1. I've been checking whether custom roms are available for the AutoChips chip series, but all I could find on xda are for RockChip. Will these work on the above unit (it comes with Android 10)
2. Could somebody recommend any other unit for a Mini Cooper S R56 (year 2007) with the silver CD and separate volume control that can be modified with a custom rom?
I asked the vendor to send me the MCU version and he sent me this, if it helps identify the unit:
CHIP: AUTOCHIPS AC8259E (A53*8)
MCU: HDBEC.200423
MEDIA: HC_v2.0.0_200311_000(v1.71)
BTV: BT.20.06.23.1430
Android: 10
Many thanks for any tips!
Regards,
Chris
Did you want Android auto or Android head units? Your post suggests Android head units and not AA.

I initially posted in head units but did not get any replies. After looking at other similar posts, people were suggesting to them to post in the "Android Auto" forum, so I posted there too
Sorry for any confusion...

I'm just looking for an android headunit for my Mini Coopers S R56 (year 2007) and there are many options to choose from, but all of them have "something missing". The best I could find is this 9" unit, but it doesnt have the commonly referred to RockChip chip or the MTCx MCU for which all custom roms in XDA are available.... I want a unit that I can upgrade with custom roms, and was looking for advice.
Again thanks for replying

Experience/Information for Witson SC9853i Head Unit for Opel Astra J ?

Hi guys,
I am currently using an S10 Head Unit but honestly I can't use any apps anymore since it is so terribly slow. Therefore I was considering a 'Tesla Style' Head Unit.
During my research I've found out that the units based on the Intel IA Chip seem to be more powerful than the PX6 based ones.
Therefore I amthinking about the following unit from Witson: Android 9.0 For OPEL ASTRA J/VAUXHALL HOLDEN 2010-2013 (TTF1974)
However I am reading a lot about Joying Head-Units but they don't seem to offer anything for my Opel/Vauxhall Astra J.
My question is, is there any SW Support for the unit from witson?
Can I even flash the SW from Joying? But Joying has only the Android 8.1 for the SC9853i but the Unit above is delivered with Android 9.
Does anyone even have some experience with the mentioned head unit or can give me any kind of input / Links?
I already saw the threads in this category but honestly I am not sure how well they apply to the Unit from Witson.

Help with Chinese android headunit

So I bought this head unit from Amazon specific for my 2009 Toyota Corolla. It has the fake android 10 but want to flash a working rom. Right now my head unit keeps closing apps and nothing works at this point. Even tried to reset it using the little pin hole on the front of the head unit but doesn’t do anything at all. Please help! All I need to know is which rom to flash to this head unit.
Specs of my head unit
Android: YT9216BF_00007_V004
Android OS: 10.1
XY Auto: 3.4 (8227L)
Can Pro: 3.1 (8227L)
DDR: 2G
Flash: 32G
CPU: A7 1.3GHz x 4
Radio: NXP6856
Display: 1024 x 600
MCU: 3.1 (8227L)
If it doesn't do anything when pushing reset you should return the head unit. The reset button is hardware related and has nothing to do with the firmware so I think there is a technical defect.
Buy a head unit you can find some information here on xda if you expect to get help from other users. Don't buy exotic unknown devices.
For Toyota Corolla Junsun V1 is available. No the best head unit but also not the worst. Or a PX6 could be a good choice.
I need help with Chinese Headunit using iPhone. I did factory reset and now nothing works. PLEASE HELP ME. I am not tech savvy on these units.

Trying to identify head unit for possible rom upgrades.

My son bought a "SAMPTENT" AA Head Unit from Amazon. Here's the info from the about screen:
OS: Melis-20220511
APP: SK-8483V31-WIFI-AHD-20230106090107-8035
MCU: MCU806_20230105_2104
Is there ROMs available for this to update the features?
