Xtrons TR100

Android version- 7.1.2
MCU- 5.3.19-94-84-E06101-180111
System ver- v9.2.2_20180314.153952_TW2-FD
I have the Xtrons tr100 which has been a very great upgrade from the last unit I had, especially the sound quality. The only problem I'm having is an issue with the bluetooth which will not connect to my obd2. When i search for bluetooth devices the obd2 does show up, when I press and hold on obd2 3 options pop up which are ok, obd2, and cancel. I tried all options with no success. I went into the extra settings and chose bc6 and/or bc8 with no luck. Anything elee I'm missing or could try?

Hi Marchnz,
you said above that "trigga_b Your unit appears to be an allwinner unit and so posting in the android auto forums you might not get a response." would be better on a different thread why is that?
I have the same head unit TR100 and after searching for Xtrons TR100 I ended up here do you not consider this an android head unit it is running Android 7.1 nougat

Custom roms for XTRONS PSD50WRJL?

Hi guys, I'm sure there's something around somewhere but my google fu is currently letting me down.
I've recently bought a PSD50WRJL from XTRONS (Android 10 head unit shaped to fit some older Jeeps) has anyone seen any custom roms for this head unit?

Is it an MTCD type? Have a read through, its unlikely anyone can answer your question as xtrons are a reseller. Model numbers are mostly meaningless. Your MCU version will either reveal or provide a hint to who manufactured you unit, the type and if a custom ROM is available.
Don't panic, nearly everyone makes the mistake of thinking that the model number identifies the unit. Take some time to read up.

How can I tell what type it is?

I've also seen it called alps FF-5000

I've read further on MTC(B/C/D/E) and I'm not sure that this head unit fits any category. My MCU is: TS907.190518(W)

Hi I have the same headunit XTRONS PSD50WRJL. I'm using Erisin ES364 USB box with DAB Z APP but I'm encountering serious problems in hearing DAB stations .... Any idea ?

Experience/Information for Witson SC9853i Head Unit for Opel Astra J ?

Hi guys,
I am currently using an S10 Head Unit but honestly I can't use any apps anymore since it is so terribly slow. Therefore I was considering a 'Tesla Style' Head Unit.
During my research I've found out that the units based on the Intel IA Chip seem to be more powerful than the PX6 based ones.
Therefore I amthinking about the following unit from Witson: Android 9.0 For OPEL ASTRA J/VAUXHALL HOLDEN 2010-2013 (TTF1974)
However I am reading a lot about Joying Head-Units but they don't seem to offer anything for my Opel/Vauxhall Astra J.
My question is, is there any SW Support for the unit from witson?
Can I even flash the SW from Joying? But Joying has only the Android 8.1 for the SC9853i but the Unit above is delivered with Android 9.
Does anyone even have some experience with the mentioned head unit or can give me any kind of input / Links?
I already saw the threads in this category but honestly I am not sure how well they apply to the Unit from Witson.

Real Android Q update

Hi team,
I have just bought a car equipped with an android car radio.
I have browsed the various topics dealing with android head unit but I need your clarification.
Can we update the mcu in the rom? or vice versa?
I understood that I had a fake version of android Q and I did not find an android head unit equivalent to mine in the posts.
I found this post where the android unit has the same specs as mine but that really needs to be verified.
I copy the characteristics of my car radio.

(Question) Chinese head unit tv apps black screen

Hello,
I recently find out that all tv streaming apps on my android head unit behave the same. Apps menu work but when any video in app is turnded on player don't stream video but player shows that video is playing and sound is working.

Not a FYT unit indeed. FYT only released Android 8.0 units on PX5.
Their sc9853i units were Android 8.1.
