Hello everyone,
I have a problem with the CTRLR controller (the one sold with the MOJO or one purchased separately).
Some games do not recognize the gamepad, or with wrong mapping.
For example, on the game "Horizon Chase" ( seems great), nothing works except start and back buttons.
But a wired Xbox 360 pad works perfectly.
Also, there are no changes between the gamesmart and pc mode.
I tested the pad on my LG G3 with the same game, and same result.
My Mojo runs on CyanogenMod 12.1.
Anyone has a solution to fix this ?
Maybe a config file to add or an app who emulate the xbox 360 layout?...
Thanks,
I bought a new shield TV a couple months ago just for playing war robots. Then find out it's not compatible. You can imagine my upset.
Is there a way to run and play war robots on this device & use the controller? Is there a type of key mapper or anything that will map on screen touches to the gamepad input?
octopus?!
Droidmote can do it, but you need to root your Shield first.
Hi there,
I see many videos for using PS4 controller for games in different Android devices.
I tried to do the same, I managed to pair the controller, but when I enter games, it just doesn't work.
Appreciate any support in this regard.

LG V20,
H990DS
Android V8.0

Did you try using the Sixaxis Controller app in the Play store?
Hi. I saw the black shark 2 global (i guess it's a CN version that's patched global) on sale for around 250€ on some chinese sites recently and i'm considering buying one.
But i'm more into emulators and retro gaming than playing mobile games and i wonder if the black shark work ok with them.
From what i read, the gamepad(s) is not recognized as a simple HiD controler and we have to use the shark mode to make mapping to virtual gamepad in screen.
I dont mind spending time to configure stuff and i guess in most of emulators i can reduce opacity and size of the virtual controller to be acceptable, but i have some questions :
So :
1- Does all emulators do not recognize the gamepad and allow direct biding to keys ? Does some allow partial binding ? (like let says the joystick)
2- Witch emulators works with shark mode on ? Witch wont work ? I read somewhere that retroarch crash when we try to map to virtual gamepad ? Is it true ?
3- Maybe some emulators works on JOYUI 11 that wont in MP6 ? Or the contrary ?
Hey. I've had this phone for 2 months and all emulators run flawless with it. I've been playing 3ds, GCN and Wii games with no problems. No issues with mapping controls either. I'd get it if I were you. There is a magisk module if you are experiencing mapping issues.

Hello,
I am new with Android TV. I bought a Tictid D1 Max Android TV box, and I am trying to play games using game controllers.
But I have had time to let game controller work with it.
- Xbox One controller :
I tried an Xbox One controller (in bluetooth) which does work very well with an Android tablet (almost all games work fine on my tablet with the Xbox One controller).
But on my Android TV box, no success with this controller (the box does recognize the controller, I can use the controller to move inside the Android menus, but no game work with it).
- Bluetooth Switch controller compatible with Android and PC :
only one game worked.
- 2.4 Ghz multi platform controller (PS3 / PC / Android / Android TV) :
So far this one had the best results, but still very bad results : 3 games out of 20 tested were working fine (and I tried to switch the controller in all PC / Android modes).
So here are my questions :
- as it seems to be a software issue on my Android TV box (input drivers ?), I wonder if this problem is specific to my Tictid D1 Max box, or if this is the case for all Android TV boxes ?
- is there an app which would increase the game controllers compatibility with Android TV games ?
- is there a specific game controller which is known to be working with almost all games on Android TV ?
Thanks !
Something like the Rii RK707 might work. I have one & it works fine on PC & Android, but I haven't tested it much with Android games. It's also not as ergonomic as a dedicated controller.
