Hello, I’m having some problems with 2 px6 android 9.0 headunits with display problem, factory won’t give me straight solution yet! Need some help please.
The problem is that after 1 or 2 days installed, the display screen starts to turn off and on really quick and also flickering.
This only happens when units are installed, when I test on a 12v power supply it doesn’t show any problem at all.
I was trying to post some videos but I think can’t do it.

hi.. i am new to xda.. if i posted in the wrong forum please inform me..
recently i have bought this unit.. CAR-DA FOR LEXUS IS250 (i cant post links yet)
it’s an 10.4" screen
Android: 4.4.2
processor: QuadCore-R16 1.6 GB
MCU: 5.3.19-23-30-E43101-170207
System version: 4.5.10_20170317
DVD version: 2.13.13-1200xh
RAM: 1GB
ROM: 12 GB
i have two issues with this unit...
1) within the original unit i have an air cleaning button that recirculate the air through an carbon filter.... but this unit have no button to do this (all the other buttons work fine)...
when i change the unit configuration to a LAND CRUISER setting. the unit will show this specific button but it is not working.....
2) the original unit have two lights to tell if the passenger air bag is on or off... this unit haven't which cause the warning sign for the airbag fault to show at the cluster which mean that the airbag system is faulty and not working ... when i reinstall the original unit the sign has gone...
are these issues related to software thing or hardware?? can you help me to solve these out??

I am afraid that no one answered because no one can really help you with this kind of problem. Your best bet is to write to the seller/manufacturer and maybe you get lucky and they do something about it.
The integration of these headunits with the car features is usually flimsy at best. For instance, my Chinese headunit can't communicate at all with my Ford Mondeo, no parking sensor detection, no information sent to the car dashboard main display and so on.
It's also true that for some cars is better then others, for instance for WV (Passat, Golf) they managed to have a better integration... it seems that they managed to decode the CAN.
I had similar issues. I missed with it A LOT before it finally changed to the right car. Did you try accessing advanced mode and change the car to your lexus?

I am new to this forum and glad I found it as it seems full of skilled people on Android Head Units
Here is my issue:
I have a 1DIN Android Head Unit RK3188 with motorized screen with the following specs:
MCU: MTCC-KLD5-v2.98
The Android menu at the top of the screen is randomly not working and I can't use any of the icons on it, so I need to reset the full unit to be able to exit an application.
In the beginning it occurred rarely but now it is almost all the time.
I just upgraded the firmware but it is still the same. I don't think it is hardware related as only the top menu is impacted.
Did anybody faced this issue before? And if yes, do you know any fix?

In my other cars, I have simple 2 DIN Android units which are easily identifiable and I have flashed different ROMS and MCU firmware to those to get the desired interface and features that I needed..
But with the new unit I purchased for my 2003 Mazda 6, I am having trouble working out what type of unit it is.. I have no idea if there are other ROMs available, or different MCU versions. I would like to figure this out, so I can potentially work on fixing some of the little annoyances that this unit has.
The unit was purchased from AliExpress here.
I have attached screenshots of the details in the settings app, and the 'car settings' app also.
Overall, the unit is very responsive, and the software isn't too bad.. but it has a few issues i'd like to attempt to fix.
Any help identifying it, or links to any MCU firmware or Android ROMs for it would be appreciated.

My main goal is an MCU update to allow 'fast boot' of the unit.
When you turn the car off, I notice the LCD backlight turns off (but if you look closely, the LCD itself is still on, as is the touchscreen, for about 10 seconds) but the unit remains powered for around 10 seconds, when it seems to be sent a 'shutdown signal' (I assume from the MCU) and the unit completely powers down.. I want to change this to just 'sleep' the unit.

From what I gathered, I have the above unit (vw golf 5, quad-core r16 1.6g unit, pls check photo).
The issue: MCU version unknown
For a week now, the radio apk interface instantly closes upon launch, but the radio keeps playing (so, I do have music, but I no longer can change the station).
Other apps have similar instant close problems, so I tried to reset the unit.
I am not sure I managed to do this successfully, as I tried various reset passwords, and I got a boot animation at some point, a minute or so after the pass code input. However, nothing seems to have changed, same issue persists.
Also, the hardware buttons no longer seem to work, except for the rotating knobs.
So, trying to figure out my unit to look for flashing tutorials, I noticed I no longer an mcu version, nor a canbus one (pls check photo).
So, is my mcu fried? If so, how does the unit boot, and plays a (single, can't change) radio station? How would I approach a repair, preferably without unmounting the unit (if possible)?

Update:
Problem solved. Reset switch on the front of the unit did the job.
Hi guys, I’m new to the forum so apologies if this is in the wrong section.
Im looking for a bit of help if possible please, I’ve got the PX5 running android 8 installed in my 2015 Vauxhall Astra J VXR.
When running the standard cd400 usually when I put it into VXR mode the instrument cluster turns to red from white however since installing this unit it stays white when in VXR mode.
I’m presuming it’s something to do with the canbus settings however I can’t find it, anyone got any ideas?
