Changing WM5 notification settings

Hello Everyone,
I am new to the board and I have been searching for an answer to a problem with WM5 that I cannot find. We use our devices, I-Mate JasJar's and I-Mate K-Jam's, to receive Pushed email, Text messages, phone calls...etc.
One of the main featues that I need, although small, is to be able to set WM5 notifications for new text messages or emails to repeat. The setting is subdued, whereas some other notifications give you the option to repeat the alert. I feel like this should be up to the user to decide whether to use it or not...no microsoft...:x
Anyway, is this a possible registry hack or an update that i don't know about?

I have tried everything I can think of...i downloaded a registry editor and modified the registry under notifications under HKCU...i was able to make the "Repeat" function available for use for a NEw Text Message...but it wouldn't repeat...nothing i did would make it repeat...this sux..

Yes! It's crazy that you can't set notifications to repeat and "bug" you! My wife's Motorola V3 RAZR phone does this for every text message / voice mail. Very annoying - but also very useful!
PocketMax "phoneAlarm does exactly what you want. An official version for WM5 is not quite ready, but there is a beta version which seems to work, hidden away in the support forums:

Phone vibrates on call even though ringer is completely off?

Cingular 8125, WM5, 2.25Rom from HTC site

If Photo Contacts Pro is running, whenever I turn my ringer off (No Sounds, No Vibrates) and I get a call it still vibrates even though it's only supposed to light up. If I close Photo Contacts Pro and I get a call everything works like it's supposed to. ONLY LIGHTS, NO SOUND, NO VIBRATING. I have seen a lot of discussion about this program on the forums but I couldn't find anyone else who mentioned having this problem with this software. I tried the demo version of their update, v4.03, but it gave me the same problem.
Please tell me there is a way to fix this without uninstalling this wonderful program. By the way I sent an e-mail to their customer support and I will update if I ever get a reply.
UPDATE: Through testing I have discovered that Photo Contacts Pro only causes this problem when the person calling has a custom ringtone, which is about everyone who is in my Contact list because I have groups and group ringtones :'(

No SMS notification...maybe due to photoContacts pro?

Hi all,
it's a few days that my new htc hd2 doesn't vibrate and doesn't ring when a sms arrives. It's seems to be occasionally and not always.
I've noticed that seems to be bound to data connection. When data connection is active, I have no vibration/ring.
I'm not sure... I can think it's maybe a problem due to Photo Contacts Pro.
I've installed the last version, 5.50

I'm having problems after installation of 5.5 also. In the previous version of Photocontact Pro I had it setup to play the Sportscenter theme whenever I got a notification from ESPN. Never, ever was there a problem. All my sms tones don't work anymore on this new version. Now it just plays the windows mobile default sms tone. I would revert back but I like the slide to answer. I'm using a Treo 800w. Hopefully somebody can help us get a fix for this.

I dont have that software installed but I have the same problem, sms tone intermittently working/not working. I think its a bug, I've seen others complain about the same issue.

Quickest way to get an answer to your problem would be to deinstall the software you think is the culprit. If you get SMS sound and notification back then you know you will need to do some tweaking in the settings of that software when you reinstall.
If it's not the problem then install BSB Tweaks (can be found on here) and use the relevant settings to turn on notifications.

[Q] AUDIO Alert for missed calls/Repeat Reminder

HTC Trophy with Mango update - Help, please. I need a way or an app to have a repeated AUDIO reminder for missed calls/texts and calendar reminders.
I cannot believe this was overlooked in the Mango update! I rely on continual audio alerts for calnedar reminders and missed calls as I can't carry my phone around in my pocket 24/7.
I love this OS and interface, but this is pretty retarded for a "Smart" phone.
Please help.

[Q] Email counter on Lock or Quickglance screen

Hi,
I'm trying to set up a stock Samsung GS4 Active as a business Phone.
It's connected to Microsoft Exchange (only).
Which means the lockscreen with PIN is obligated and rooting is not possible.
The problem we are facing is the display of standard Phone information: missed cals, SMS and email on the lockscreen.
At the moment we have to login first to see this information.
I was glad to find the Quickglance option, because this solved almost everything directly, except the most important one which is email.
It's almost hilarious that the S4 has so many advanced features, but for the most basic functions it seems to be blown out of the water by WP8
If anyone could help, I would be gratefull.
