Hi guys,
I get this SM-A310F(310Fxxu4crg2, this string i grabbed from my recovery) phone for testing purposes and now I want to go back to stock rom, but it's my first expierience with Odin/Heimdall and I really don't know what I done, my bootloader seems to be working, i mean it boots successfuly into download mode, there I tried to flash with Odin BL, AP, CP, CSC with these files https://sfirmware.com/downloads-file/26048/SM-A310F_1_20180814174814_3yq6smui2j_fac
The ZIP provides 4 files:

}
these files I selected in Odin:
but like you see in this picture from Odin it does fail, and I really don't know anymore how to get back to stock.
I also try it with Heimdall under Linux and extract the tar files from my first picture and selected them manually, with hidden partition gets the hidden.img and so on, but there I get also a error something like a protocol error. I also have a pit file I created with Heimdall, before I mumbled around, if it's needed.
Windows 10 Pro, Odin 3.14, Samsung driver installed
Archlinux with latest kernel, latest libmtp & Heimdall
I hope someone can help me

I made a thread earlier as I was not sure which firmware I needed.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/help/q-to-flash-vodafone-uk-note-3-to-stock-t2996494
Since then I have downloaded both the firmware and ODIN from the site. But when I connect my phone after it is in download mode I do not see what the image in the guide I am using is showing me, and the buttons have different names to the one in the image.
Here is a image of what ODIN shows me when I connect my phone in download mode.

As the image shows what ODIN is displaying is different to what the guide says I should see.

Hi everyone, I'm having a couple of problems flashing the required Rom's Bootloader & Modem (XXU1COI3 & COI3) for my phone (N910G - 32Gb).
So the problem look like this:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I had also try to extract the pit file from the phone using terminal emulator on Android. Used that pit file along with the flashing of Bootloader & Model. This is what it shows:
I have previous problem similar to this before. But it seems to work when I used the PDA tab while flashing both the Bootloader and Modem as a single tar.md5 (or tar file can't remember exactly).
I would be very appreciated if someone could merge the 2 file together (so I can give a try) or come to a solution for those problems.
Cheers!
untick autoreboot
Second this.... also unticking AR did not help.
Don't use Re-partition !
And don't forget to power off the phone (minimum 15 seconds) and start in download mode directly before flashing BL and CP
I am new to all these so forgive me if I don't know something obvious. I have a grand prime sm-g530h that I tried to root using the cf-autoroot chainfire files. But it did not work and I ended up stuck in odin mode forever! I was trying to upgrade from kitkat to lollipop. Anyway I could not even go back to kitkat version using the 4.4.4 file from chainfire. Here is the link to this problem if anyone is can help: http://forum.xda-developers.com/grand-prime/help/stuck-downloading-mode-trying-to-root-t3400043
Anyway, I then downloaded the firmware from sammobile: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/46171/G530HXXU2AOC2_G530HODD2AOA1_BNG/ and this time it worked and I was able to get back to my phone! all the apps that were previously installed were present as if nothing changed.
I did notice one difference between the file sizes. Chainfire MD5 files were around 30 MB while sammmobile files were around 1 GB!! and a lot of processes happened when I installed the sammoble firmware using odin which did not happen when I tried to use the chainfire files.
Here is a screenshot of odin after installing sammobile firmware:

}
My concern is why is there a such a huge difference in size of the MD5 files? Should I be concerned? Did this also install any hidden malware that I should be worried about? I see something called "hidden.img.ext4" and other stuff! Is sammobile.com safe? Please help!
After a few failed attempts and some net digging, i decided to downgrade my firmware to an early android 9 that i grabbed from samlabs.
i figured from this "workaround" that i can finally get magisk working with my device

but due to my limited knowledge, i don't exactly know what he mean't here, like... how do i flash something with a odin tarball???
and how do i even extract the files mentioned?
can anyone lay it to me straight?
Github Thread
PS: my bootloader is already unlocked, i tried the simple method that makes sense to me and just flashed a patched AP of the aforementioned Firmware but unfortunately hit
the usual dead end (Secure check fail, recovery.img).
Note that the bootloader with Android 10 and later on the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) [SM-T290] is suffering from this same issue.

It is about a different device, but may work.
Just replace the aboot.mbn.lz2 and vaultkeeper.mbn.lz2 in a tarball (.tar file) with aboot.mbn.lz2 and vaultkeeper.mbn.lz2 from last Android 9 tarball (.tar file)
I don't remember which one contains these files, so find one with them
Hi guys, i've bought note 20 ultra recently, i have to flash stock rom to my note fan edition phone but there is a problem.
I've tried several versions of odin in order to flash but no luck.
I had floydq v6.0 before, now phone doesnt even booting it says only "official released binaries are allowed"
Here is my steps:
- I downloaded binaries for N935F from sammobile,
- Tried to flash but no luck it stucks at SetupConnection or NAND Write Start or Set Partition part
- Then i came across with a thread that says i have to enable OEM Unlock but the thing is i couldnt see that switch in my developer settings page, i tried several things
- Now i am trying oem-unlock with fastboot but the thing is fastboot does not recognize my phone, but before the brick adb could see my phone idk what am i doing wrong
- I think i successfully installed the right drivers such as (Google Driver, Samsung OEM driver)
