What is the reason for installing TWRP, I rooted it but if I restart the smartphone, TWRP and Root are lost, deleted and the main menu recovery of redmi note 7 MIUI 12.5.3 returns
how to solve it?

minimal abd fastboot and smartphone in fastboot I downloaded the latest version of TWRP for Redmi Note 7
my PC recognized the smartphone normally I activated USB debugging and file transfer on the redmi note 7
installed normally but I only used it while not restarting the smartphone
Hello.
I need help, please.
I have a Redmi Note 7 and I tried to install android 13 on it using TWRP, however, I made a mistake and using TWRP I ended up formatting the entire smartphone. I can no longer use Mi-Recovery 3.0 or enter TWRP, because when I click volume up and power nothing happens and the cell phone just starts because I managed to install its original android using Mi flash.
How can I restore or install recovery mode with mi-recovery 3.0 and thus be able to install the newest versions of android?
I also wanted to know if I can install android 13 or others that were not official for my device without TWRP, mi-recovery mode, or another that depends on the commands described above, which are not working.
Thanks for the help.

Hey
I had a brand new Redmi note 3 this morning, Hope I didn't brick it
I bootloader the device using the Xiaomi utility.
Than I followed this guy with its guide to root the device
1st, I downloaded TWRP for kenzo from here (as he mentioned)
2nd, I burned the TWARP using adb tool.
3rd, I run the super user script from here
Now, My device got stack on TWARP, I have no operating system , no android is running, My device boots into TWARP over and over.
(btw, is it could be that my device is not compatible with TWRP for kenzo version, How can I check whether my device is suitable for kenzo or hassiny ? )
What can I do in order to install a proper OS in my situation ?
while (true)
printf(Please help);
Hi,
I already read multiple threads which are somehow related to this issue, but I still don't really understand it:
What is hm2014811 and what is wt88047? Where is the difference? Really different devices? Or somehow Android 4 and 5? It would be great if someone could explain all the details (or direct me to some page/thread where it is explained). Is it important which TWRP version to use?
Here someone asks I have a HM2014811 does exist a way to install a WT88047 rom?
But I got a used Redmi 2 2014811 with 1 GB RAM, too, and can only install wt88047 roms, as it seems. Previously I had some MIUI 8.3 and it was too slow. Currently I'm trying Lineage OS 14.1. Could it be that all of them are designed for 2 GB RAM?
I have TWRP 3.0.2 from here.
I'd like to go back to Android 4, to see if the device gets faster. However, it tells me that the ROMs are for hm2014811 and I have a wt88047!
Since some threads seem to tell me that installing a different TWRP would change the device type, I tried to install this older TWRP 2.8.7.2. However, it doesn't boot. It stays at the "MI" in the center, and while that's still shown, I can access fastboot and install the above 3.0.2 again, which works.
Any explanations, suggestions? What clean and fast Rom should I install on my 1 GB device, and how?
Thanks a lot,
Alex
[SOLUTION] - for error hm2014811
Hello,
Here is how it works:
Use this TWRP image: twrp-3.3.1-0-wt88047.img
Flash the recovery image like so:
1. fastboot devices
2. fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.3.1-0-wt88047.img
3. fastboot boot twrp-3.3.1-0-wt88047.img
4. Wait as the phone reboots into the newly flashed TWRP recovery
5. in TWRP recovery on the phone go to Advanced -> ADB sideload and enable it
on the PC run:
adb sideload lineage-15.1-20200119-nightly-wt88047-signed.zip
Good luck!

Here's the answer for "What is hm2014811 and what is wt88047? Where is the difference? Really different devices? Or somehow Android 4 and 5?"
HM2014811 is the model of the 2014811 Xiaomi Redmi 2 variant. wt88047 is the codename of Redmi 2.
Hi guys, I have 2 more weeks of waiting until I can unlock my bootloader.
I don't even want to flash a new rom (since debloating MIUI 10 seems pretty fine to me) but I want to root it, therefor I need TWRP (also thinking about flashing the xiaomi.eu rom since I can update it via TWRP as well).
Long story short: what TWRP version is the current one (functional and not in chinease) since there is nothing available on twrp.me and I'm not really sure what's up.
Thank you so much for your reply! Cheers! :fingers-crossed:
You can use the one made by josalaito, you can find it in the ROMs section. Or you can use the one in the Xiaomi.EU official page. There's not much to choose from, to be honest.

Don't hurry up, wait untill you unlock the bootloader. You may get more stable TWRP version.
I have downloaded several 'beta' recovery images. 2 different versions of wzsx150, OrangeFox and TWRP. None of them are working with 'fastboot boot recovery.img' After the successful upload, I get a redmi starting screen, nothing else. Is it working for you?
What happens if I upload a bad recovery. Do I have the possibility to overwrite it again with an other file? Does the stock ROM include the recovery?
Thanks for help!

I tried ln team recovery but I just flashed it.I booted to recovery from fastboot(by holding vol up and power till Redmi logo appears than just the vol up button).
I changed the language to English, than went to Advanced tab. There you will find forceencrpt and dm verity disabler.Select both of them and swipe the confirm button.
After that I recommend keeping Magisk 19.0 zip on sd card or internal storage.Flash it and you are rooted.
Your whole data would be erased of course.

I have redmi note 7 global plz suggest me a stable twrp for it thanks.
I accidentally wiped everything on my device when following a not-so-informative youtube video, it was my own fault for not questioning their steps at all, and I was going to install an update to Pixel Experience as it wasn't letting me do it normally. I have TWRP installed and I can boot into either that or fastboot manually but it won't let me transfer files from my PC onto my Xiaomi Mi 9T via Sideload, Mount, Drag and Drop, MTP is enabled and no other means I can think of work. Everything on my phone is able to be replaced as it was all in the cloud but I need my phone at the moment and from the research I've done I believe this should be a straightforward fix however, since I can't get the software onto my phone I can't boot to it. It also won't let me transfer the firmware required and so I get ERROR: 7 and "This package requires baseband from atleast V12.0.2.0.QFJMIXM. Please upgrade firmware and retry!" My PC recognises the phone is connected and can view the files on it but every time I try to drag anything into it it looks like it's going to work and then it just stops.
If you have any other information you require to assist me I will try to be as helpful as possible however, I am quite new to this so using laymens terms would be preferable.
Did you read the instructions on the pixel experience topic? First you need to flash the firmware package for your device from here: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/davinci/
Then flash the rom and format data. This should work.
I installed pixel experience this week and so far it is going well, I had to update from miui 11.0.1.0 android 9 to miui 12.0.3.0 so that ALL the system will be updated to android 10, and then I proceeded to install the pixel experience via twrp. Try to install Miui 11.0.1.0 and configure it, then from the system settings you look for the latest update, make sure the system has been updated to Android 10 before installing pixel experience. Try to use xiaomi flash tool to make a clear install

After "Format Data", you need to reboot your phone in TWRP to fix that.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! You are a god-sent legend!
Hello there! I've loved using twrp on several of my devices over the years and tried today on my OP 8P and each version that I have tried lands me with the Qualcomm CrashDummp Mode.
I'm guessing I haven't found the right version. I have been on the latest update from OnePlus. An update today made everything weird, so I decided to go with a custom ROM thru twrp. Now I'm here!
So far I've unlocked my bootloader and tried flashing to both of my partitions.
I've tried:
twrp-3.4.0-2-instantnoodle-unified-mauronofrio
twrp-3.3.1-0-instantnoodle-unified-mauronofrio
340 Oneplus 8 pro mauronofrio
Anything else I can try flashing?

You obviously don't read. It says next to the twrp download that its NOT compatible with Android 11
You gotta read for every ROM installations and every mods
Hi if u want to flash a custom ROM first check what type of ROM u are flashing, whether its Android 11 or 10. If u are flashing Android 10 custom ROM, when ur Oneplus 8 Pro is running Android 10, u can do it by unlocking bootloader and flashing TWRP recovery.
If u have updated ur OnePlus 8 Pro to Android 11, then u cannot flash TWRP as its incompatible. U have to unlock bootloader, install recovery image given in the ROM download page and flash the ROM via abd sideload in the recovery menu.
If ur OnePlus 8 Pro is bricked here is the unbrick tool. Download the ROM and flash it via MSM download tool by going to EDL mode.
[OP8PRO][OOS 11AA/BA/DA] Unbrick tool to restore your device to OxygenOS

Make sure u have the right drivers installed in ur PC.
For going to EDL mode refer this video
Then next thing: Post ur doubts or questions next time in Q&A section. Research well before u start flashing my friend. It ll be easier and smooth.
Take care.
Yep @paarry I was mislead by an article I read that has instructions for twrp be installed on a OP 8P a few months ago. I later realized that I never found anywhere else that said it was possible no matter where I searched, certainly not their official site.
Well, I fixed my problem by ceasing to try any more twrp versions and pivoting to @CarbonROM and so far it's been good.
