Would someone please tell me the specific driver name that is used for Nothing (1)_Spacewar?
Anywhere I look at or read does not indicate specifically the name of the driver.
Appreciate your time

Hi,
Have anyone tried installing drivers for USB devices on O2 flame, like USB to serial converter etc. I was trying to do this and it fails. I want to use my USB to serial converter to connect to the Flame's OTG port. I tried to install the FTDI driver according to the procedure given. but O2 flame does'nt allow to install any driver. I am really . Trying this for quite a long time.
Anyone had a success in doing this, will appreciate your help.
Best regards,
Manas.
Can you give us a link to your drivers. Without that we will not be able to help you.

I downloaded the driver from this link http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm
Its not only this driver. In the process to evaluate if the Flame supports installation of new USB driver. I found that it is not allowing. Not even the DLLMain is called.
Done. This is not that easy to though.
how? really intrested... trying to install on toshiba g900
Install a USB driver on Flame
Sorry I was not in touch with this forum for a long time.
For this the first step is to do the registry setting correctly:
HKLM/DRIVERS/USB/LOADCLIENTS
HKLM/DRIVERS/USB/...
Dont forget to mention the index and the prefix values.
the dll must be placed in the /windows folder
Important: Build the driver project with the windows ce version 4.2.

how can i find name of the device driver for my UNIVERSAL jasjar
Well I was unable to figure this out with Google so I figured I would ask here. When I initially tried to use Modem Link on my LG Incite CT810, It downloaded a bunch of drivers (well, i think they were actually related to ActiveSync.) Now I load the phone in and ActiveSync works, but if i disconnect from ActiveSync and start Modem Link, it tries to download yet another driver (CT810 USB Serial Modem) and does not find it. I tried looking this driver up on Google to no avail as mentioned above.
Does anyone know anything? I did download some drivers but none of them have worked as of yet. I really hope this issue is solvable. Well thanks for reading at least.
I'd like an answer to this one too... i tried it, and i got the exact same problems. Does anyone know how to use this??
I believe I have found my problem; that I am using x64 Windows Vista. Since then, I installed Windows 7 x64 and PDAnet. Things work great, I'll likely buy PDAnet and just use that. I doubt that there will ever be a Modem Link driver for x64.
However, if there's anymore value to add to this thread, then feel free, i'd be happy to know.
Btw, if you use 64-bit Windows and you want to try out PDAnet, you're probably going to make the mistake of getting the wrong version. I was fully aware that i was running 64-bit windows and somehow managed to miss it twice... maybe I'm just slow. Anyway, here it is:
64-bit PDANet for Windows Mobile Devices
But thanks to those who read this at least. Hope this helps for anyone looking for a solution.
Does anyone need these, I know the Regs for non DB mode are out there didn't know if anyone wants these? Wont let me postoutside link.
Via the browser under files, please dont hotlink.
ADB Drivers:
vibrantsamsung.com/extra/files/Samsung_Vibrant_ADB_Drivers.zip
USB Drivers:
vibrantsamsung.com/extra/files/Samsungusb.zip
Current Version 1.0.26 ADB
vibrantsamsung.com/extra/files/adb_1.0.26.zip
You need Android Debug Bridge version 1.0.26 or newer I think this is the newest so far.
Thank you, I was looking for the usb debugging driver for windows 7!
I hope this works!
How does this differ from the existing thread pointing to Windows drivers for Samsung Android devices? There is already a thread on where to find Windows drivers for for 32- and 64-bit drivers for Samsung Android phones. Why is another thread necessary? This forum has been inundated with duplicate (and often needless) threads, so why are we propagating this ...
Why not post links to official google adb: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
Or a trusted and many times verified driver page:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=728929
It times out for "Samsung_USB"...
I would be very cautious about downloading these files guys, I will download and scan them now and edit with the results.
Edit: Results
ADB: http://virusscan.jotti.org/en/scanresult/bdd1b57fcfec22e3556193ad3b402c95c16290f1

Still is very odd. I would really enjoy some kind of explanation about why these were posted like this and why we even need another thread with this information?
Thread moved to General.
Hello all,
I have an LG Optimus L5 version e612g which is from a Mexican carrier (Iusacell).
I have mainly 2 concerns and I would greatly appreciate your help if someone has dealt with this before.
1. Basically what I want is to connect this device to my QPST and QXDM. I have already searched the forums but have not had luck on finding about how to show the COM port on Device Manager > Ports. I downloaded and installed both drivers I found:
First, I installed the LG United Mobile Driver (LGUnitedMobileDriver_S4981MAN38AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.8.1.exe) found on the official LG Website
Then I browsed this forum and found this driver for the phone: LG Android Driver (LGdriver.exe) and installed it afterwards.
I then updated the driver with the latter driver and the only thing I see in the Device Manager is the Android Sooner Single ADB Interface under ADB Interface group. I don't see any new Port under COM Ports (see attached image).
2. I would like to know if there's a way to send AT commands to the phone so that I can LOCK the phone to a specific Frequency and avoid the Phone from jumping to another frequency (similar to when you LOCK the phone to stay in 3G or GSM, but for a specific frequency A.K.A UARFCN)
I would gladly appreciate your help on the subject and hope to hear from any of the experts soon.
Regards,
Erick
