[UPDATE Jan 17 2023]
- Updated to the latest B.I.O.S./Firmware 1.24 and now is more stable, yet from time to time (once a week) freeze
[UPDATE Dec 30 2022]
Since i replaced the NVMe disk the computer is very unstable, sudden freezes without any obvious errors, nothing in logs.
I suspect that the drive is not fully compatible, yet works, sometimes days without any errors,, then simply freeze and reboot.

Hello,
I just upgraded the SSD drive with a 1TB Samsung 990 PRO, below is an image of both drives, old and new, side by side.

}
Then added the old drive in the following USB-C adapter
Then cloned the drive from usb to the new internal drive with the following command that took approx 9 minutes
Enjoy
FYI, it seems that the 990 Pro does not properly work on this computer, please see update above.
FYI, Upgraded the firmware to the latest version available and seems more stable.

For some weird reason my phone has always had an issue no matter the rom, ever since I got it with copying files to and from the phone over USB.
Through apps like 'Airdroid' I have never ever had any issues.
Through USB it's always ended in errors or hanging.
Even after formatting the ExternalSD and InternalSD (which I can do with a PC) it has never made a difference.
I have Kies installed (and the drivers) but I don't have Kies running (to avoid conflicts)
I'm talking about just a simple copy/paste from/to the phone etc.
When copying/cutting/pasting to the InternalSD I get this forever:

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
When copying/cutting/pasting to the ExternalSD it copies a bit but then fails at random intevals:
Both Filesystems are displayed (oddly enough) as 'Generic Hierarchical' which I have never ever seen Windows 8 say..
I don't have this problem on my Galaxy S3 at all. Only my Galaxy S4.
I've tried 5 re-installs of the drivers, but sadly I don't have another computer to try copying on..
I've also tried 3 different MicroUSB cables too but there's absolutely no difference at all.
Any ideas...?
I have a 32GB HP Touchpad that had seen little use for a while, I got an ION iCade cab which connects via Bluetooth to the Touchpad. Although sold as (and originally designed for) iPads they work well with Android .

I flashed the Touchpad with Android 5.1.1 removing the WebOS first. This leaves enough space for the full Mame4droid 0.139 u1 ROMset, the smaller 16GB Touchpad will still host a huge selection of games.
I flashed 5.1.1 because the Bluetooth works well, this is critical for connecting to the iCade, or any Bluetooth controller.
TPToolbox was used to install 5.1.1
Bluez IME was necessary to force the iCade to connect the first time, after that it works every time. This is keeping my 7 year old entertained no end, and was to replace my full sized MAME Cab that had to go as it was (apparently) taking up too much space.
I'm posting this from my phone and will update it from my laptop with more detail.
Hi guys,
I have a fresh S7 SM-G930V(Android 6.0.1). Which i logged in via google and it downloaded all my previous apps on my old phone(i assume it automatically does)
I was following https://forum.xda-developers.com/ve...-to-notes-root-install-xposed-unroot-t3411039.
And now my keyboard is now starting to look weird

I completed all the steps and rooted to the following image "Samsung_G930x_QC_Rooted_BOOT.TAR (any Samsung Galaxy S7) (MD5 hash 948A01ECCF280828DFD13AC366F6FE85)"
and used Odin3_v3.12_PrinceComsy.zip as opposed to the other odin.
Any ideas besides using another keyboard app?
EDIT: Just flashed back to G930VVRU4API3, which i thought was my stock rom but has a purpleish first time start up which i thought should be blueish?
Going to try and re-flash a root after work again.
UPDATE2: I Follow the rooting/xposed steps again and now i got my normal keyboard back. The difference is that the verizon startup is white/red while when i first ever used the phone it was a blueish/purple verizon start up. But i feel that it was definitely 6.0.1 with PI3.
Accessing the phone via cable seems extremely slow but thats for another thread...
I am now rooted with a working keyboard, now time to work on the other issues....
Hi,
Recently i bought a Huawei D16 notebook with i7-12700H and not finding any info about this model, if has an internal sata port, i opened my new notebook to discover if i can use my old sata ssd as additional disk.
Surprise, does not have the internal sata connector as it's predecessor.
Below you can find an image with his internals, only the nvme disk can be upgraded, to only 1TB i think.

Yup I was just looking this model, thanks for the info. Ram is soldered as well. The least they could've done is add another m2 nvme slot.
I think i will go with dell Latitude 5531, at least they are upfront with he ram so I can choose 16 gigs and i7-12800H. No luck finding picture of the motherboard... it seems to be new redesigned version for alder lake.
This is the old one I know because the ram is soldered on the new one No 16:10 screen tho, only 15.6" FHD
I bought the Latitude 5531, Ram is not soldered. 2022 model with i7 12800h
Pretty much same as the above picture.
Hello, I'm trying to back up ROM from a head unit that uses the ac8227l chipset that with Android OS 9 (seems to use Universal Android). The brand on the market is EMBASSY, I use the SP Flash Tool v5.2112.00.000 software which runs on Windows 10.
The device is not detected/read by the spflash tool if it is only connected by a USB cable, and it is only read or detected if it is supplied with DC current
I have carried out all the steps and procedures for backing up ROM from what I know, starting from doing a memory test to get a memory map, downloading ROM_BOOT1 with the readback process (successful) but during the ROM_USER readback process I always stop and fail at no more than 8% progress (Approximately 1.2 GB) even though the USER ROM size that was read during the memory test was around 14 GB.
please help with instructions if anyone knows how to solve this problem. Thank you.

Problem is solved, it turns out that the backup ROM must be cut into several parts.
