I got a headunit for my bmw but it doesn’t seem to have any bmw logo loaded on to it to set the boot logo. Where can I get them from
BTW... The boot logo is only shown on cold boot.
Actual units do not even need to cold boot in normal usage. Just the first boot-up will show this logo.

The MCU is still missing in here.
The firmware is not that important.
If the unit is an 8-core unit in this case the unit is not connected correctly, because it should then have a deep sleep mode.
Where do I find the mcu version ? I believe it is a 8 core unit

Hi all,
Allow me to apologies if I post in the wrong thread.
Recently I bought "Bosion 420" head unit from Aliexpress
800x480, quad core, 1G RAM 16GROM. Android 4.4.4
It was working fine for first week. I download and install Sygic app. That's the last thing I did. After next time I start the unit, the unit loop in android boot logo
.
I contacted the seller and he send me the ROM to update. He asked me to put in the ROM sd card and boot up. It automatically goes into progress bar. And it run till 100%. After 100%, the screen become blare out and nothing happened. But when I took off the card and reboot, it goes back to the android boot loop still. Seller is not responding me anymore and its already out of time for dispute so I am out of options. Can somebody help me with that?
Thanks in advance!

I have a joying px5 4gb 32GB system
I tried to do an update for Android 8
And the system got stuck in the boot loop
The system loads the company logo and then reboots itself
How to fix the problem and reinstall the system
As Joying has several kind of units having different kind of hardware it is easily to flash the wrong firmware.
ALWAYS mention which unit you have and which firmware you (tried to) flash.
Your info is "non-info".
Now blindly assuming you have a FYT unit using the latest firmware for the right resolution you can try:
Put a USB-disk with the firmware in the unit. It might be picked up immediately after reboot.
If not: Put a USB-disk with the firmware in the unit and reset the unit with a pointy thing like a needle.
If that does not help: Put a USB-disk with the firmware in the unit and reset the unit. When the boot logo appears, immediately reset the unit. do this 3x until the leds start blinking pink. Then it will go into forced flashing the unit (if a usb-stick is inserted).

I assume you mean JY-UOS03P4
And which file?
You need the top firmware download from this page: https://www.joyingauto.com/blog/
this one if you have indeed a JY-UOS03P4
My system came with Android 6
I tried to upgrade to 8
It seems that the files that are still sitting in the system are of version 6 also where the same steps are performed?
Where can I download the version 6 back to restore the system and then upgrade it?

Hello guys. First of all, I've been searching for weeks for any similar situation with mine but couldn't find anything. I have Unbranded Chinese Android Head Unit running Android 4.2.2. with physical button and a reset pin. I tried tonnes of ways to get to the recovery with any possible method and nothing seems to be working.
can anyone show me how to get into recovery or force hard reset on the unit ?
I have attached a few pictures of the Unit info and the circuit board.
i tried to connect a USB keyboard to my Unit and pressed PrtScr + "E" but my unit did not show factory rest option. you can see what happened in the attached video
i will be thankful for you, if you tell me how to get into recovery mode of make a hard factory rest or install a new ROM.
Thanks in advance .

May be you can find something by using this link to search for T3L.
Hey, I have a px5 head unit that was on android 6.0.1, I updated the mcu from version MTCE_HZC_v.75 to v.94
I tried to flash android 8 rom using an image I found online, so I booted the unit into recovery mode and selected update image, and then the unit restarted and never turned back on
before that, the USB port related to the unit received power, but now there is nothing
I tried to hold the reset button for different periods but it did nothing.
is there any way to try to turn it on without disassembling the whole thing?
Restore backup - connect device to PC and restore system using backup (if you backed up before flashing)
Android 6? That's old, most updates of yours only update to oreo 8.1. on PX5 device. Find updates and MCU files on 4pda Russian forum.

is there any way to make it boot/show any sign of life without taking it out of the car?
No , remove and connect to PC with USB cable
---UPDATE---
I have noticed that the touch buttons on the unit light up, but the screen doesn't
and I noticed that the lights respond to the reset button(if it's held for 10 seconds it flashes twice)

Search the internet for troubleshooting your device with those light codes, blinking twice means wrong bios or flash memory
