if i dont have any notifications with vibrate enabled, is there anyway that i can set the phone to global vibrate and have all my sms's and emails etc vibrate as well? my notifications dont do anything if they arent set to vibrate already.
does anyone understand what im saying?
let me try and lay this out:
for all situations: sms, gmail, email, phone: vibrate is all unchecked.
situation A
volume rocker is set to ring @ medium volume
when calls come in, or when sms's arrive, all i get is a sound and lights, no vibrate.
situation B (reality)
volume rocker is set to vibrate
sms's arrive, only lights flash, no sounds or vibrate
situation C (ideal)
volume rocker is set to vibrate
sms's arrive, lights flash, and phone vibrates.
i figured it out. the app called sound manager does this, but doesnt advertise it very well.
all the notifications that you want to vibrate need to be checked. and in the menu of sound manager there is a vibrate setting, check it to vibrate when silent only.
ah, i can go relax now.
Since my upgrade to Lollipop all my notifications are silent despite the fact that my sound setting is on, my notifications volume is 100%, my general Notification Melody is "On Time" and my Allow Interruptions setting is allow all the interruptions. My device, a SM-N910F, is NOT rooted.
I get all the notifications with no problem but they do not play any sound.
Any help would be very appreciated.

Hey guys,
is there no way to customize the sound profiles?
I can't let the phone just vibrate instead of muting it or turning sound on with any of the three profiles.
One profiles totally mutes the phone and doesn't allow to turn sounds on. The other two don't allow to mute the phone or set it on vibration.
One of the three profiles even only let's me toggle if the phone should vibrate for incoming calls. Nothing else!
I keep receiving vibrations for incoming email notifications with Nine email. From the information i've gathered, if the phone is in vibrate mode then all notifications cause a vibration as well.
Vibration is disabled in the app and i know its not the apps fault because it works fine on my Pixel XL.
How do you guys get around this? I dont want all notifications causing a vibration when in vibrate mode especially if its set to not vibrate in the app settings.

I am at risk of missing calls because there is no RINGTONE sound and I have checked everything I can think of without finding the cause. I get a notification of the call, flashing and vibration, but no sound. I have selected a ringtone which sounds when clicked. Volume is at max, silent mode is off. Everything seems to be as it should in settings, permissions, display over and so on.
Help with this would be gratefully be appreciated.
