How to install (internal memory method):
Step 1: Download it and place it in your SD CARD
Step 2: Restart your Phone, it will now prompt your for a update, Click on update!
Step 3: If step 2 didnt work, switch off your phone
Step 4: Press Volume Down (Press this first) and Power Button for 3 to 5 seconds
Step 5: Navigate to Recovery..
Step 6: Select update from SDCARD option
Step 7: Select .Zip which you downloaded and place in your phone
Step 8: Sit back and relax it takes 5 to 10 mins to update
Step 9: Restart your phone.

can you post md5 hash . I'm downloading over 3g(dual sim) and I'm afraid of download corrupted files. thank you for share the ota file.

I've installed CWM recovery, and there is no "install update from sdcard" option.
How I can update?

I received the OTA update for the Moto G Kit Kat, I download normally and it says it will install and reboot a few times. OK. When it reboots and starts to install, it displays the message "Error" with the image of "Android" lying down. After that it restarts normally still on 4.3, which can be? I've put the factory settings and nothing

After some tests, it returned the following error:
"/modem/image/mba.b00" has unexpected contents
What can it be?

My apps no connect!
After upgrading to 4.4.2 Kit Kat my applications no longer connect via Wi Fi (PlayStore, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).
Chrome, Skype and WhatsApp connect without problems.
What can it be?

Hold vol up for 20 seconds and then just tap power. It should bring up the recovery options.

Doesn't work.
I can get into Fastboot hold down the VOL DOWN and POWER, but when i select the Recovery option, it doesn't work.

It's kinda tricky to get it to work, I have the same issue here. Keep trying, if all else fails, wait for someone else to say something as I am not sure how to proceed any further. Sorry mate.

It's a known problem, what I do is pressing the three physical buttons at the same time repeteadly, and eventually the options appears. It can take up to 30 seconds though.

I tried to install but an error pops up saying that my device is a xt1032 and am trying to install the update xt1033, but my phone is a dual sim, any help?
Tentei instalar, mas aparece um erro dizendo que meu aparelho é um xt1032 e estou tentando instalar a atualização do xt1033, porém meu aparelho é um dual sim, alguma ajuda?

Are you using stock firmware with stock recovery & kernel?

I'm using stock firmware, but the recovery is cwm and stock kernel. Because I was unable to update via recovery so I installed cwm.

Can upload the stock recovery?

ALE-L21 Keeps Restart / Possible Hardware Problems ?

Hi XDA Community,
i have a L21 Phone, this phone keep restarting, only fastboot mode work, no recovery, no force upgrade with SD; this phone bootloader is unlocking, i tryed with fastboot the flashing of "recovery/system/cust.img" , the procedure is completed "OKAY/Finishing" but nothing, on command "fastboot erase cache" the response is "command not allowed".
I think possible hardware problems, maybe the emmc (memory integrated on the motherboard), any solution or tips ?

Bootloader is unlocked?

Have you tried rebooting the phone after the flash? The partitions you are trying to flash in the screenshot can't be touched by fastboot

Sorry, but the phone "keep restart", whatever not charge and not boot normally, still rebooting after Huawei icon appared.

i have already flash the recovery (stock) and twrp, but nothing, i can't access to recovery mode

Have you tried to boot recovery with the command fastboot reboot recovery?
And what is that file named efi.img?I dont think it's the name of the recovery...

Ciao RED, il comando fastboot restart recovery non esiste, bensì il comando corretto è "adb reboot recovery" e siccome questo smartphone si connette solamente in fastboot mode purtroppo i comandi adb in questo caso non funzionano perché il device "is not recognized"

WARNING FLASHING THESE WILL WIPE YOUR DEVICE. REMEMBER TO BACK UP!
Please pay close attention to what .zip you choose and follow the instructions for that file!
This will do a full flash. It flashed all of my partitions and saved my device after bricking my device by flashing a T-Mobile RUU.​
Instructions:

BUGS WITH THE 7.0 UPDATE AND TWRP/SUPERSU
With the the 7.0 update I have discovered the current TWRP recovery no longer boots.
If you want root you must flash a patched boot.img through fastboot.
I used Magisk Manager to create a patched_boot.img for our device which I've included HERE.
Once booted after flashing the patched_boot.img goto THE OFFICIAL MAGISK XDA PAGE and download the latest Magisk Manager! dont forget to give them a thanks :good:!
7.0 PREVENTS THE CURRENT TWRP FROM BOOTING SO I DONT THINK RESTORING THROUGH TWRP IS AN OPTION UNTIL A NEW BUILD. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO UPGRADE WITHOUT HAVING TO LOOSE EVERYTHING I SUGGESTED THIS METHOD.​
FLASH Marshmallow first
Than customize/restore data
Then flash recovery_stock
then reboot and install OTA
[SIZE=]IF THERE IS ANYTHING NEED OR ANYWAY I CAN ASSIST ANY DEVS INTERESTED IN PORTING NOUGAT 7.0 TO THE OTHER VARIANTS LET ME KNOW! I'M AM FOR SURE A BEGINNER OR ID DO IT MYSELF BUT I AM GREAT AT FOLLOWING DIRECTION![/SIZE]

I attempted a similar install but I flashed a T-Mobile RUU onto my VZW Desire 530 the result was constant random reboots and no way to fix. I'm not a dev (yet) so I can't debug the errors fix. But I do know The Verizon and the European 530 are not the same. Verizon includes a CDMA radio and /dev/block/mmcblk0pXX don't always match up in size. That's both a hard ware component and a software component.
I'm in the process of trying to teach myself how to compile this into a custom rom but I don't even know how to compile an apk. Unfortunately this phone I think has been given up on by the senior devs. I'll try and see if I can find how to port 7.0 to GSM.
If I had a GSM 530 to test on I'd be happy to see what would happen. But I can't say it would work in the way your hoping. But that from flashing GSM to global. Have no clue what the opposite outcome would be.

I tried flashing this on my UK ee 530 which runs marshmallow 6.0.1 software number 1.08.91.16. I don't have s off on mine though as it wouldn't work the last time I tried so that doesnt help.
The RUU won't flash in download mode, gives error 12 as the RUU is for an a16_wl and mine is a16_ul
Tried to flash via recovery, same problem says its for an a16_wl
Used a ruu decrypt to extract the system and boot.img files tried to flash via recovery still gives error about it being for a16_wl
Used kitchen to change the assert to allow a16_ul and a16 and tried to flash via recovery got an error that its to big for the system partition. The 7.0 system.img is 3.3GB and my stock 6.0 is 3.0GB so makes sense
Repackaged the altered rom with kitchen to a zip and flashed in recovery. This time it flashed with no errors but just kept boot looping on the htc screen
Tried flashing the 7.0 boot.img in recovery both signed and unsigned and with altered settings available in the kitchen and also tried the 6.0 boot.img just to see and it still wouldnt get out of the boot loop
Reflashed my stock rom at this point.
As I don't have s off I don't think I will be able to get it working

Here is the error I keep getting

Any advice is much appreciated.

To gisaac2157: I need the POSTPAID FILES (VZW__001). Any chance you ever came across them? Or if ANYBODY has a TWRP-Restore of stock SYSTEM img. Phone here has bad system.img on it, and the TWRP backup I had says it's "corrupt"??? So to fix this phone I need stock RUU for CID__001, or stock TWRP SYSTEM.IMG

SOLVED: If anyone else needs to return to Stock on the US Verizon htcd160lvw PREPAID (VZW__003)CID, here's what i did. I was on 1.14.603.3 AND rooted, AND twrp already installed, bootloader unlocked. SYSTEM folder was borked, so phone wouldn't boot. And no stock RUU for my exact phone. Problem was s-on, so fastboot won't flash unofficial RUUs. Got errors on anything that I tried. So I downloaded the 1.13.603.3 CID-001 from above.(which is not the right one for my phone), then I used RUU-Decrypt Tool found here on XDA, and extracted just the SYSTEM.IMG and BOOT.IMG from the "wrong" offical firmware above. Flashed only these via TWRP, NO OTHER PARTITIONS. FIXED!!! Everything works, even hotspot tweak. Didn't expect it to work due to going from 1.14 to 1.13 and that CID didn't match, but seems Bootloader is happy w/either. I also had the "FAILED (remote: data too large)" error in fastboot. Now all is great. Gv Thanx to gisaac2157 for firmware, to nkk71 for RUU-Decrypt, BigCountry907 for getting us to this point. -C ya's

Delete downloaded files

Can anyone confirm if the bootloader unlock feature is working or not? If so, that would obviate the need to wait ages for Xiaomi to dispense codes.

Hi.
Is it possible with this tool to flash Recovery "Global" 9.6.6 Rom when my rom at this moment is China Stable - Flashed by Fastboot method over 9.6.4 a.k.a "Fake" Global ROM? Or I can restore my previous rom which was 9.6.4? Sorry for that silly question but I'm newbie with Xiaomi devices.

Well I'll tell you this tool just unbricked my mi mix 3 global which got bricked from some other tool kit that probably shouldn't be on here. But yes big thanks and it works perfectly. I've been 10 hours with a phone stuck in fastboot mode.

Will this work on the Mi Max 3 latest Android 9.0 builds ?

There is not an unlock option for xiaomi devices (except for xiaomi with android one). Unfortunately the tool can't bypass official procedure

Can this tool also decrypt internal storage as in the screenshots? I know mi 9 isn't yet supported but I'm wondering if it will be able to decrypt it...

Yes, it will be decrypted until you boot again the rom

My bootloader is unlocked, no issue. What I need is to install TWRP and do root - is this tool right for that?

ROOT EMUI 9.1 MHA L09 _ L29 - Update Magisk V22

Hello, I come with a fairly easy method to have magisk on our Mate 9 with emui 9.1, because we have a fairly short TWRP in functionalities, there is no need to do it from it.
Requirement to do so, we have to have the bootloader unlocked
step 1
we already have the fastboot drivers for our huawei
Step 2
download this file, magisk is already patched on the ramdisk
step 3
What we will do is connect our Huawei in fastboot mode, for this we press volume - and connect our mobile to the PC,
then we will put this command
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk Magisk_Patch.img
then we press the power button until the screen turns off, do not release the power button and press volume + until after the huawei logo, some letters will appear, release 2 seconds after those letters, and voila, you will have Root in emui 9.1 without TWRP.
it's important to clarify. that whenever you want to root you will have to press the volume + and power button due to the limitations of the method in ramdisk

I have been for almost 2 years rooted without TWRP and Magisk on 9.0.1.179 on my C432 device with absolut no problem. I used a method you described above.
I had deactivated the system update becauase I wanted to stay on a running rooted system.
Last week my battery got drained during a walk. After some minutes accidently I pressed one of the volume buttons to start. It showed recovery. I rebooted and were back to my system, but noticed that root was gone.
I remembered that at the beginning I had to press VOL + on start. (This was not necessary on my old Magisk version for months to have root) did so and root was back.
But today I noticed that google pay did not work anymore. The reason is tha savetyNet check has a check on bacInetrity but ont on ctspriofile. EvalType is BASIC.
I tried to update magisk to 8.0.7. Then I downloaded the newest version and flased it with success. But now I can not start the device via pressing vol on start. The Logo appears then I release VOL+ key and it says "your device is booting now " but it does not start.
If using the normal start without pressing VOL key. Then my system starts, but with no root. Google pay says your device is not valid or rooted.
I flashed your file via ADB again into recovery_ramdisk. Now the key combination work. Relase both keys is about after 20 seconds.
Then Root is back. But google pay does not work
I am able to flash dowloades files from Magisk.
I have not installed a TWRP. My bootloader is unlocked.
Next attempt: Newest Magisk: 8.07.4834
No checkbox for recovery
Install "automatical"
Installtraget 21.02 (21400) installs all done.
Reboot : No root, but Google pay still does not work.
Reboot with pressed keys- > starts recovery with messages
Reboot,
wipe data factory reset
wipe cache savemode
It seems to me that the current magisk does not stay on ramdisk_recovery anymore.

Intenté actualizar magisk a 8.0.7. Luego descargué la versión más reciente y la mostré con éxito. Pero ahora no puedo iniciar el dispositivo presionando vol on start. Aparece el logotipo, luego suelto la tecla VOL + y dice "su dispositivo se está iniciando ahora" pero no se inicia.
Si usa el inicio normal sin presionar la tecla VOL. Entonces mi sistema se inicia, pero sin root. Google Pay dice que su dispositivo no es válido o no está rooteado.
Volví a flashear su archivo a través de ADB en recovery_ramdisk. Ahora la combinación de teclas funciona. Relacionar ambas teclas es aproximadamente después de 20 segundos.
Entonces Root está de vuelta. Pero google pay no funciona
Puedo flashear archivos de descarga desde Magisk.
No he instalado un TWRP. Mi cargador de arranque está desbloqueado.

This version is for emui 9.1 not for emui 9, and it is the version of Magisk 20.4, I'll see if I copy with the last one so as not to have a security problem, the bad thing is that the new file system with emui 9.1 is not as free as version 9, the problem exists

Do you have running Google pay? I tried to patch the original ramdis.img from my version again with the current Magisk and falshed it via fastboot. But no success. Are you able to generate a file for me to flash? I also tried an former version of goolge pay without success.

I changed to BASIC and added the other lines you advised me which were not present before.
I pressed save.
I booted the device (with your img file) and have root. But google pay still does not want to activate my card again.
Safety check on magisk prompts basicIntegriy checked, but ctsProfie ist not checked. I checked in the file I had edited and the values are there as I had changed them.
Is there anything I can try next?

you activated MagiskHiden from the Magisk Manager, if you don't it won't work for you

I set this option on Google Pay and MyToyota App. Now I can start MyToyota App. :--) But no change on Google Pay. I displays an NFC Icon above my Card. "not configured". Then I click on this Icon. Then I get a message that this device is rooted or changed and can not be used for payments.
I removed my card and tried to add it again. Now even this fails.
Even if boot normally without pressing VOL + google pay does not work. Maybe they detect the open bootloader.
Does Google Pay work on your device`?
I also set the option to change the name of magisk application.
Is there anything I can try next? Would you be able to create a version for EMUI 9 ? You wrote that your file is for 9.1.

I took the zip file from gitup and installed manually inside Magisk "install from Memory"
Then I insttalled MagiskHide Props Config from the list of modules inside Magisk.
I did NOT perfom the step "4. Run "props" in adb shell and chose option 1 to change device fingerprint. Changes to Mix 3 (non 5g) version. Android 9" This seems to be not necessary on my device.
Then rebooted with your patched file "ThanK you again" !
Then cts Profile ist checked !
Unistall Google Pay and reinstall Google pay (Important)
Now I can use Google Pay again
