Just FYI. The Fujitsu Loox 720 screenprotector from Brando is a perfect fit on the Jasjar. This is obviously due to their exact same screensizes (3,58") ;-)
Screenprotector
Geweldig daar heb je weer over nagedacht!
Great tip thanx
Thanks for this information. I really liked the Bando protector as I had experienced one on my previous I-mate pda2k. It had done almost a complete full year when I sold my pda2k and bought the JJ.
I now really wanted one for the JJ but could not see the universal listed on the Bando site.
You have solved my problem. Thanks a lot for that.
Kind Regards
They've now added screen protectors for the Jasjar/Exec/MDA Pro etc.
Hi All,
Could someone advise if the Touch HD comes with a case in the box?

I got a pouch too. not a good one though...
een stoffe hoesje zit erbij,en er is een geweldige silecone bescherming te koop voor 15 euro
A pouch is there, but it's not so handy...better buy a silicon one that realy is nice ..
regards
I have a spare pouch if anyone actually wants it.
I love the way 'Pouch' sounds so much better than a sock my Granny could have made :-o
It's bloom'n pants !! and I'm off to ebay ;-)
Is there a limit to the waterproofing temperature of the Z1?
I get that I can dunk it in a freshwater pool, or clean it off in the sink, but what if I spill my glass of tea on it? (It being near boiling point)
I have try it in an Swimmingpool at my work. It works fine.

While I have no idea about limits, sudden changes in temperature are bad to anything, whether waterproof or not.
Think of it the same as how a hot cup can shatter when placed on ice.

It would be best to just ask Sony. Second hand information for something like this is a terrible idea unless someone can point directly to data published by Sony.
ist guess it wouldn`t be good to drop it in hot water. not because of the waterproof. my thoughts are about the glass. as we all know that glass cracks easily in sudden changing temperatures.
I can say that I use my Sony Tablet Z and my Z1 in my hot tub set at 104 F with no issues. I have dunked both but typically mount the tab just above the rim but it has fell in several times.

Hmm..
Maybe if u just spoil ur glass with hot water i think it wont do any damage..
But its a different story if u dip it on a hot water..
And like posts above, sudden temperatue change is very bad for materials..
Well its just my opinion..

Is it just me, or the S8 has uneven back panel? Lke when the S8 is lying flat on a flat surface its not flat and when you touch or press a certain part of the phone it kinda bounces?
Well your battery might be swollen due to a defect. Can you post a pic of your phone's back.
I checked mine, it's just even, the camera is still the highest point.

Yeah should be even.

As above
This phone supposed to be water proof! Had it in my pocket to swim across a fresh water spring, was literally in the water 2 minutes and dead. Am trying the rice technique and hopeful to recover. You guys heard anything or tips? Or am i screwed
Thanks
water resistant not water proof. there is a big difference. rip your phone.
*Galaxy S8 and S8+ are rated IP68, meaning they are both dust and water resistance.
Rating is based on test conditions of submersion in up to 1.5 meters of fresh water for up to 30 minutes.*
Taken from Samsung site.
Proofing that however might be more difficult if your phone is full of water and apparently dead.

Depends on many factors. Maybe you didn't have your sim slot all the way closed, could be too rough on your usb port, etc. It is rated resistant but it is more of a precaution than anything. They aren't saying to throw it in a lake or pool or anything
sent back to samsung. thanks
