I am using the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900T)
So, I got bored of CyanogenMod and started looking at what else was out there, and I ended up starting with Resurrection Remix. I was going through all of the settings and what ends up happening is using the "Quick Unlock" feature, caused my password to NEVER be right. I may be forgetful, but I literally had it set as "1234" and it wouldn't let me enter it in any way. I tired just putting it in so the feature would kick in, and nothing happened. Tried pressing the checkmark and it would tell me "You've entered your password incorrectly 1 time, please wait 20 seconds a try again" I ended up wiping a bunch, and left to Blisspop. Same exact issue. Could this be my phone? Is there a fix? I like this feature, but I can go without it. Thanks!
What does quick unlock do?
It seems that you're the only one having this issue. I've used Quick Unlock many times on CyanogenMod and ResurrectionRemix and never experienced the same problem you're having right now. If the problem persists, I suggest you shouldn't turn it on for now.

I used CyanogenMod quick unlock and it worked, but RR and Blisspop gave me issues.
ResurrectionRemix is based from CyanogenMod so I don't get how come it would give you issues. I suggest you report directly to the device developer for ResurrectionRemix.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
This thread is for Unofficial LineageOS 14.1 builds for chagalllte (SM-T805). The following will not be supported here:

Xposed
I don't support Xposed and any logcat which includes a Xposed module will be ignored. You're kindly invited to not report bugs if you:

Sorry about that I forgot to delete my test build from the server. 26th is the right build.
so i have a big problem now.. I flashed the radio/modem you posted and now i cant load TWRP, i hit home, vol, power and get a no command and the stock recovery loads, ive reloaded the stock rom and still cant load twrp.. This happened when i went to do the factory reset using twrp and then things froze,, i went to reload the rom and couldn't, went back to stock then could not get twrp,
This worked like a charm on my T807T! The Bootloader & Modem flash via Odin BL did the trick. Thank you Sir(s)!

Not sure on the freeze part never seen that reported on any tab s before. But if you are booting into stock before rebooting back into TWRP stock is overwriting TWRP with the stock recovery you have to boot directly into TWRP after flashing it with Odin. I also assume you flashed the updated modem/bootloader via Odin?

Good to hear that it's working well for you.
See that's the thing.. I never had an issue before flashing this radio/modem.. I guess I'll have to wait and see if others have the same issue cause i can't flash twrp now.. I have tried to flash it and on the first reboot see if i can get in.. What i have noticed is that i get a no command error before it goes in the stock recovery now which i never had happen before. I even reloaded the stock rom to see if that will make a difference but the recovery still gets that no command error.. It's almost like the recovery part had updated and now doesn't allow you to overwrite it with twrp. So now I'm back on the stock rom and can't even get back to your rom because i can't get twrp to load.. And yes I'm using oden..
Not sure if you were asking me to flash the modem first reboot into download mode, load twrp then when it reboots try to vol up, home, power to try to get into twrp. Haven't tried that but I've never had to do that before to load twrp.
So I have an update..
I loaded back the factory rom, held the power button and killed the first boot, loaded twrp held the power button down on first boot, powered it on and tried to boot into twrp and saw the same message " no command" then it went into the stock recovery, reset it and let it boot all the way and went thru the prompts just to get me to a normal home screen, downloaded "quick recovery [root] and then ran it, chose the option for recovery and it rebooted, when it did.. i hit twrp then loaded your Rom.. the install went smooth..
first boot up, no internet.. I hit the back button and chose the option to setup a new device and soon as it connected to wifi, i hit the back button and chose setup using backup and chose my backup so all my apps would work.. it downloaded all my apps over wifi and i rebooted it.. everything worked fine..
So to resolve the internet issue.. I exited the second APN you had for t-mobile which said IA and i changed it to Internet+MMS, at that point i had internet with the LTE logo and all was fine.. speed test came back good..
Name: T-Mobile US LTE
APN: fast.t-mobile.com

Authentication type: <Not set>
APN type: Internet+MMS
APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6
APN roaming protocol: IPv4
Enable/disable APN: <greyed out unless there are multiple APN's>
Now im back to the same issue i had on your last 7.0 rom which is why i ended up going back to stock soon as i enable GPS and use a program that uses GPS.. the tablet restarts and keeps restarting soon as its fully booted, i assume that soon as it goes to get location it reboots. I cant use my tablet without GPS so its a fail for me
I even went back and re-flashed the modem/radio with the one you gave us and still a bust when it goes to USE GPS.
Changed the network from preferred LTE to 3g and still the same thing.
changed the APN back to the one you had default and i have no internet and when i use GPS (example google maps) no restart/no internet. I enable wifi and all works fine with no restart..
so i assume that the issue is with the SIM configuration.. I know you dont have a sim/issue with your sim but something is conflicting based on all that i have tried. Ill leave the rom installed and running till later on and hope that maybe you can suggest something.. if not ill have to go back to stock because i use the tablet for work. If you need more information.
p.s. after things were working on wifi.. i went back and selected the APN that i changed to give me LTE and killed the apps and reopened them and still no restart. I disabled wifi and still no restart when i reopen the apps. so i chose to forget the network for my wifi connection and reboot with the wifi still enabled and soon as i click google maps.. boom.. reset..
HELP
any suggestions?
just tried the build for the 29th and same issue.. going back to stock again.
apparently as per this thread.. this patch resolves the GPS restart issue.. might be something to look into and maybe bake into your new roms..

So the latest build has the apn correct now but the GPS still causes a reboot. Luckily I have gotten my t807t fixed so I can actually test LTE. I'll get this fixed up right quick.
Nice.. Keeping my eye out.. I'm willing to test when you come up with something.. Not sure if that link i attached will point u in the right direction. Seemed like the only fix on the internet after hours of searching..

It doesn't sadly that fix is for qcom based gps. But I'll have another build that should fix it currently the gpsd is causing a system panic because unsol_gps_noti (11009) isn't being handled by the ril class so it's causing an exception and crashing rild which is a core service so that's takes down the entire system. The next build will also have a different patch to apn that should work as well because my initial patch won't be accepted into lineage but this new one should if it works properly.
Perfect..
i see a 8/12.. any luck?

Hi,
problem:
I cant use my mobile as a Wi-Fi Hitspot as every time I try to activate the Hotspot it instantaneously deactivates itself, i.e. the slider moves to the off position.
What I tried unsuccessfully tried so far:
Change the AP Band between 2,4 and 5 GHz
Set the Security to off
Set Tethering hardware acceleration on and off
Reset of the Network settings Wi-Fi, mobile and Bluetooth
Several Reboots
os:
LineageOS 16, build lineage_X00TD-userdebug 9 PQ3A.190801.002cf5ef798ea, Nov 7th 2019
kernel:
4.4.194-zen+
I would appreciate any Ideas how to solve this problem. Thanks vm in advance!

Did you decrypt the device by using proper decrypt.zip? If not reflash and include the decrypt.zip.
Our phone doesn't have 5ghz band.
Try factory resetting once.

Hi,
thanks for the answer. During the rooting I also had to flash the decrypt.zip, so yes, I did a decryt of my phone - hopefully it was a popper decrypt procedure though :_)
A complete factory reset I didn't try so far as I'm afraid with all the subsequent work associated with a reset..:_(
But probably you're right and there's no way around a complete reset of the mobile.
Thanks

Ah ok, thought you meant a complete re-installation of the firmware / lineage OS. Only resetting the the phone, i.e. Erase all data should be much easier. You think that'll do the trick?

@z1_nile: Thanks vm for the answers. The wipe did actually the job. Now my WiFi-Hotspot works fine So problem solved.
Note: Make sure your phone is decrypted and do not turn on the secure boot feature where you need to put in your pattern to boot system!
So as I'm currently without a PC and can't restore the stock images I wanted to share the best method for using Android 10 I've found.
Get the latest phh gsi image v210 is what I used.
Get the latest Lineage OS GSI 17.1 image.
Get the Trinity v2 kernel (beta is what I used).
Get the latest Android 10 pico or nano gapps from opengapps. (I used nano)
Boot to recovery and factory reset.
Install phh gsi IMG to system. When finished don't reboot. (I do this to keep security patches as up to date as possible)
Install LineageOS IMG (DIRTY FLASH).
Install Trinity Kernel to Boot
Reboot system
(Optional once you fully boot you can reboot recovery and flash the f2fs zip from Arter Kernel then reboot recovery and wipe data. When you reboot system you may freeze during setup just reboot by holding the power in until the phone restarts. It will finish setup this time.)
Reboot recovery and flash gapps. If you get error 70 resize the system partition. It will work after resizing once or twice.
When it boots you can do your traditional setup.
Reboot recovery and Install Magisk v20.3.zip
Reboot system and Install Magisk Modules Busybox for Android NDK and Magisk Hide Props Config.
Install terminal app of choice following Reboot
Type su in terminal and hit enter
Type props in terminal and hit enter
Change the fingerprint to Razer Android v9 and Reboot following the prompts.
Congratulations you now have LineageOS Android 10 and are passing safetynet.
Notes:
You can Install v4a if you want.
I highly suggest installing the l'speed module from Magisk as it stabilizes the freezing/kernel.
You can also Install EdXposed and the beta for GravityBox Q ... Still passing safetynet.
Logo++ will fix your Razer logo on the rear of device.
Bluetooth works fine as does everything I've tested.
Downloads needed:
Latest phh GSI for AOSP Android 10
Latest LineageOS 17.x GSI Image
Trinity Kernel (v2)
Magisk v20.3
Pico or Nano GAPPS from OpenGapps
Optional:
V4A (requires the Magisk Module Audio Modification Library)
EdXposed Riru - Core (Magisk Module)
EdXposed - Sandhook Beta / Canary (Installed from manager)
EdXposed - Latest Manager (do not use Taichi)
GravityBoxQ Beta (gives you a lot of customization like the battery icon in statusbar)
Logo+
LSpeed Module for Magisk (lspeed-master.zip)
F2FS_FSTAB.zip from ArterKernel Thread
***Note*** this isn't flawless but when using the LSpeed Magisk Module it's very close**"
**"" LineageOS Freezes every now and then where the AOSP GSI doesn't but I can't get the AOSP to pass safetynet***
Screenshots
Note I changed the font to Comfortaa via Magisk Font Changer Module
SafetyNet
Magisk modules I personally use. Ignore older versions of the same module.
Change the fingerprint to Razer Android v9 and Reboot following the prompts.

No doubt I'm through with flashing back to stock countless times.....so over it
Wish I had more time and knew more about Android to bake us up a solid AOSP ROM for this phone. Great hardware to work with here and like I've said before I can't believe there is not one Dev in this community to pick this phone up as cheap as it is and get something going

I feel like it's the nature of ROM developers sticking to the devices they have. They are currently developing for other phones, and don't want to have to move/develop for a new phone, nor do they have the time to develop for another phone. To be fair, we are not completely in the dark; f(x)THaxxorX seems to be working on patched versions of popular GSIs that are more suited for the hardware of the RP2:

From my experience, Pie ROMs have issues with the fingerprint scanner reliability, and media in a lot of games seems to have buffering issues as it frequently cuts out.

I have the same problems on ArrowOS(the fingerprint sensor problem is pretty rare. The speaker issue is really annoying, but it only happens at low volumes), but I guess it depends on how much you're willing to take. If you want to keep to use Q GSIs, our best option is just to wait for patched GSIs by f(x)THaxxorX that might be coming out at some point(Soon™).

I think the speaker itself might have issues as I even had this issue with Android 9 GSIs, from what I remember. At first I suspected buffer-related issues but after some testing it doesn't seem to be the only issue. Setting the media volume to at least 50% would allow most of the audio to get out of the speaker, but at max volume the speaker can be really loud (to the point that I feel the speaker could be potentially damaged) so I usually set it to at most 80% when I need to place the phone a bit far from where I am.
Also, I haven't gotten aptX working on Android 10 GSIs due to a strange null pointer dereference bug which would crash the entire Bluetooth stack. Only SBC works as intended. As I noticed that the author of gjf_bt Magisk module (which adds aptX libraries as well as SBC tweaks) recently blacklisted Android 10 and onwards, I think the issue might have more to do with the Android 10 system itself.
Hey! Can anyone confirm if LDAC is working on this? I have never rooted a phone before just doing it to enable LDAC. Also, does this OS support setting for Refresh rate?
I love Lineage OS 17, but I noticed that I don't receive text messages anymore. I could receive text messages when I first flashed it, and after a couple of hours, I could not. Then, I could send messages and I could send and receive calls. I could use data. I could not receive text messages. Is there a fix for this problem? I tried using Lineage 16, but I still could not receive text messages. I am back to stock, for the moment. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm using AT&T service.

It's a known issue, and unfortunately there is no reliable fix yet.
Hi all,
I've tried different Android 12 roms and all is installing well but... When I reboot my phone the Mobile Network goes haywire like on / off constantly. This ONLY happens after a soft reboot, and I'm unable to fix it except by doing a clean flash / factory reset again...
This happens with different Android 12 roms... What could possibly be going wrong here?

Do you use verizon?
Is there really nothing you do before this happens?
You install a rom, reboot and it goes haywire?
