Hello, I'm sorry if this is a "noobs question", but I cannot find any solution to this by myself. YouTube gave me no hits and (maybe I'm not well-versed enough in using XDA) but so far I haven't found anything here either. Running Derpfest 12 (build SQ1D.22205.004) and OrangeFox Recovery.
I've been wanting to know the answer to this for the last four years, although I don't think there is one. Am I wrong? Thanks in advance

You don't, weirdly enough, OnePlus removed the bootloader unlocked warning on devices that run OOS 12 and newer, not sure how they did it tho.

Doesn't look like OnePlus 6T has OOS 12 as of yet. I flashed OOS 11.1.2.2 from https://www.oneplus.com/global/support/softwareupgrade/details?code=PM1574156215016 prior to flashing https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...6t-with-updater-by-optimus-08-09-2022.4408737. Before that, I was on OOS 9.0.14 for like three years since I was too lazy to flash something newer, and I've yet to find a way to get rid of this very annoying warning and the few seconds boot delay associated with it

Oh, I know the 6T doesn't have OOS 12, and it never will get OOS 12, which is why I said "You don't" at the beginning of my previous comment, you can't remove the bootloader unlocked warning on OnePlus 6 series and older, you're SOL.
7 Series and newer can get the bootloader unlocked warning removed as they will be updated to OOS 12.

Yea sorry dude.
I assume OOS 12 and newer doesn't have a bootloader unlocked warning screen because OOS 12 is just ColorOS 12 with a different skin, Oppo phones run ColorOS, you cannot unlock the bootloader on Oppo devices, meaning, since you can't unlock the bootloader on Oppo phones, ColorOS doesn't include a Bootloader unlocked warning screen, and OnePlus just copied that over to OOS 12 and 13.
Maybe OnePlus adds it back with OOS 14, or maybe OnePlus is going to stop letting people unlock the bootloaders on newer devices? Who knows.

Please excuse my incompetence. I'm just very overwhelmed how how different things are from Nexus devices
For Nexus devices, there is a page that has stock images for every update. I can't seem to find such a page for the G5 Plus. At least not an official one. Too many outdated threads that link to outdated pages with dead download links, I can't actually find what the latest update is.
Even still, I tried to install this update https://www.getdroidtips.com/npns25-137-33-11-august-moto-g5-plus/ and I get an error in recovery saying:

I then tried to download this update https://www.getdroidtips.com/npns25-137-35-5-may-moto-g5-plus/ butthe download link was dead
Further, on Nexus devices, if I had a custom ROM, and there was an update to the ROM that required some updates from the official stock image, I would just flash the vendor, radio, and bootloader images extracted from the stock zip file. These update files seem to only be flashable in stock recovery. How would I be able to get these updates with a custom ROM an TWRP?
Sorry if all of this is obvious. Like I said, I'm just overwhelmed.

5x, as well as the 5 before that
Moto G5 is a pretty "plain jane" Android device, so is a Nexus device...
That is where the similarity ends, Moto/Lenovo does not provide ANY factory images and all the ones we have are leaked files, and they do not support anything after an unlock code has been issues (doesn't matter if you actually unlock it or not), and "relocking" does not return it to a true locked status like a Nexus device. Downgrading is very difficult and often requires some trickery to get accomplished, if at all.
No device is really like a Nexus as far as enthusiast support, except maybe a OnePlus.
How does this help? It doesn't... it's just some info.

I appreciate it nonetheless. Thanks! I'm actually a bit scared about the warranty now that I've unlocked it. Hello, but sorry it isn't the common warning. Since the begining i have unlock my bootloader (september or october)i have this warning. And not the first i have post. It's not the same.
Again this is a quite common warning on the one plus 5. Have you recently flashes a new ROM?
Have you updated widevile L1 in a service center? If so, that's the reason of the new warning message, nothing to worry about..
That warning is when you flashed Open Beta 10. There is an file (abl.elf) in the firmware that replaces the old warning screen to new warning screen. Nothing more, nothing less. So no worry though...

That's the new bootloader from beta 10. Everyone who has that installed with an unlocked bootloader will have it that way. And simply reverting to previous builds won't change it. But that's just a cosmetic change so don't worry about it.

That's correct. Reverting to the previous Oreo builds won't change it because the new file in the firmware is only present in OB10, and not the older Oreo builds, so it won't be overwritten even if an older Oreo build is flashed.
However, the Nougat builds of OOS had this file present in their firmware, so flashing the firmware of any of the Nougat OOS builds will get the old warning back, theoretically.
Can i delete this file? Because i will switch to recovery or fastboot over this screen.
Thanks Paper

Can anyone tell me how to get them in Android 10

Installed the Magisk app and it does not flash the zip.
I Always get a error message
Hi all. I'm running stock OTA 10 and am unable to flash twrp (compatibility issues with android 10 as I understand). When on OOS 9.0.17 i wanted to try android 10 and when I realized twrp is not an easy option anymore I wanted to simply downgrade as I have done with op 6t as well as lots of other android devices. And that too is somehow a problem at android 10..? Is really my best option to simply wait for twrp solution to be developed or is there another (relatively simple and safe) way to get it either rolled back to pie or get 10 rooted?
thanks for your time

Full zips are just not provided by OnePlus even by OTA for carrier devices (exception being Android major updates eg when Android 11 will be released), only incremental ones are provided. More info at https://www.xda-developers.com/dont...s-7t-pro-mclaren-bootloader-oxygenos-updates/

Even if you had the OTA URL and file captured, you can't flash it. It'll brick your phone unless it goes through the update menu. They are incremental updates that check file integrity. They are not full updates. You cannot flash updates on this phone. Period.
If you have an MSM, that's different. But we don't have that either. Right now, all we can do is wait.

I can apply it via fastboot. And I have done so many times. For the 7 pro for example. This whole wrinkle with 5G and reserve.img really sucks. I am sorry but this is very frustrating. I want simply to be rooted for many reasons and without even flashing custom ROM....and now it looks like being rooted is causing more harm than good. I guess I get nothing from being rooted. I am contemplating just using MSM to go backwards and unroot.

From the very own article written by XDA Portal I linked to:
So what’s the problem here? The T-Mobile OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition, unlike most other OnePlus devices, does not have full firmware ZIPs available from OnePlus’s website. So with an unlocked bootloader barring you from taking incremental updates and no full ZIPs to take, you will be stuck on whatever OxygenOS build your phone is running if you decide to pull ahead and unlock your bootloader. The regular OnePlus 7T Pro does have full ZIPs available for downloading, but you can’t take those on this device since it’s carrier-branded and it’s T-Mobile – not OnePlus – who is responsible for the device’s OxygenOS firmware.

LL Starks is right. MSM has been locked into specific devices starting with this device and going forward. With the 7 Pro, it was different because MSM was still universal for it. It won't work if you try using a Hydrogen MSM tool for a T-Mobile 5G variant. I know it's easy to get frustrated, but you're gonna brick your phone if you don't listen to reason or people who know what they're talking about. Not trying to sound harsh, but that's the simple truth.

You're confusing several different topics.
No, you cannot manually install OTAs on OnePlus devices from TMO. It worked on the 6T at first, but then the Local Update option was removed in an update. You might be able to sideload through a modified stock recovery, if someone with root can grab the OTA after it downloads, but before it installs, since it will be deleted after.
Yes, there is a HydrogenOS MSM image. No, you cannot flash it on the HD1925 (hotdogg) TMO variant.
Yes, there are several MSM images for our TMO variant. Running any of them will lock your bootloader and restore to stock. When you unlock again after, you will once again be missing the reserve.img needed to accept OTAs.
There are downloadable zips that replace the missing reserve.img needed to accept an OTA. I didn't create the first couple, but I did make ones for .27 -> .31 and .31 -> .34.
Regardless of what build you are on now, a missing reserve.img will not prevent you from seeing an update. Your phone will download it even if you are rooted. However, it will fail to install once it gets to the part where it updates reserve.img.
Ok so what do you recommend?

Do I restore the reserve.img with the script and tools in that other thread? I did that actually. You are saying I should be able to get the update, and it will unroot me afterwards? I could use magisk to say install to inactive slot after OTA before rebooting though right? I still am not getting the update OTA...I clicked check a bunch of times. Maybe I am not in the queue for this round.

If you already restored your reserve.img, then the OTA should install once your phone gets it. Some people have been able to update without unrooting, but I do it to be safe. I go into Magisk and choose to restore boot images, but not uninstall. This allows any downloaded modules to remain and not have to be configured again when you root after update.
Once you restore boot images and reboot, the OTA should install and then reboot again. I then repeat the original root steps by pulling an updated boot.img through TWRP, and am back up and running in less than 15 minutes.

I have been on build 11.0.11.13.KB09CB for the last 3-4 weeks I keep looking on OnePlus Updates but it seems the updates they show me are older. Am I missing something?? Am I on the latest update?
I also received my unlock token today, all the different threads to root are confusing, twrp, broken twrp. boot only, flash it, magisk, only use your own boot img, do use don't use magisk canary, flash EU, don't flash EU flash Global etc.....can you point me in the right direction on that? Thanks in advance
