Hello everyone I have a STV100-4 that restarts quite often and can never update the Google app... reading the internet I found that this is usually the problem but I can not uninstall it to reinstall it again.
Is there any way to root the phone? It currently has android 6.0.1, is there a newer version of android to root this blackberry?
Thanks
Flash it with the original autoloader firmware
Download the stock firmware from this post,
your problem will be solved.

The variant above is STV100-4, it should work, but is for Europe region. If not work, you must find another STV100-4 variant.

What issues are you facing with the rom?. If it's only stating "Grace" in the model section that's ok, you can change it back in build.prop if you are rooted but i don't think it's necessary. In fact if you check the build.prop by default in the model section it says Grace.
This is my build.prop.
It's same to me - my device is stated as GRACE, I don't know why. Look after build.prop but because I've seen it at many places there .... leaved it intact.

Yes it's normal, C900B320 is the same as C636B320 just name numbering difference. I think all the Asian Marshmallow roms are C900B320 for the dual sim version. I think the reason for the changes in your phone is because of your first failed attempt to unlock your bootloader might have corrupted your phone old info so you get the default values.
As long as your IMEI isn't corrupted that's the important thing and the phone is working fine don't worry. If you are still not comfortable with the changes, try to download a Marshmallow rom for your model from Huawei website and install it. See if things changes.
Not agree. First C900 is custom regional version. My was C432.for Europe (don't remember north or west Europe). That's not such.big.problem but.could be for next OTAs. And last, actual rom from GRA-L09 is MM B321. I'm lost about devices version of that guy, sorry....

The numbering has changed after Marshmallow for all regions my previous lollipop version was C470B200 .. but now after upgrading to Marshmallow it's C636B320 and this numbering is for all south east Asia region (Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia......). If you check the build.prop the system version it says C900B320 and i am on C636B320.
Middle east region changed from C433 to C180.
That sounds logical. Thank you.
My is GRA-C900B321

yes my phone dual sim version....
Software DC Phoenix tried to flash the firmware is locked bootloader mode
Because my phone was Bootloop and did not have access to Product ID could not do anything else.
And after repair and flash the firmware and receive Product ID re-opened to the boot loader got through DC Unlocker
Do you need to replace the firmware is?

I don't think you need to, but if you want to try it's up to you.
Just make sure you have the stock recovery back if you changed it to Twrp. Then download your model Marshmallow rom from Huawei and flash it without using DC Unlocker.
Make sure if you want to go back to Lollipop you have to flash the transition package before going back to an old rom.
I have to change the firmware?
If yes, what should I install the firmware? (My phone's bootloader is unlocked)
HuaweiCloud previous firmware ... but this ROM does not have this feature!

Are you rooted, or do you have twrp?
So I've searched for a answer but nothing worked.
I have the ALE-L21 model, and it bootloop-ed when I was trying to root the phone.
I've tried to put an update from the sd card by pressing volume up and down + power button and it just said failed from the start.
I've tried entering fastboot mode and flashing boot.img, recovery.img, but i it didn't worked.
Sorry for the bad english, please help me.

Hi! I have same issue with my P8 Lite single sim from Vodafone. Before i went into bootloop i had B181 branded software.
My bootloader is locked (how i can get unlock code when emui site is down?). Is there any way to rescue my phone without unlocking bootloader?
Maybe it will be possible to flash (vol+,vol-,power) it once again with vodafone rom, but i can't find it anywhere.
Thanks for support.

I'm not 100% sure now but it should be ALE-L21C432B133_Europe Channel_single Software from official huawei site
In that build there should be a floder named vendor with an small update.app in it. put that one in your sdcard/internal memory and go trough settings-> updater-> menu-> local update and select that. let it do and everything should be fine

Hey, today afternoon was so boring therefore I'm wondering around threads and then i found your update here.
You can try it out if your problem isn't solved yet. I think it'll help because it's the official nova 7.0 nougat version for Europe. Do reply so that others can benefit from your experience.

Your linking a old version of the Nougat update for the Nova variant CAN-L01C432 and the CAN-L11C432 which if your not careful could damage your phone if you don't have that version of the Nova. There is the CAN-L01C432/CAN-L11C432 variants, the MLA-L03C654 variant, the CAN-L01C02 variant and a couple of others I believe.

my bad i didn't know that there are these many variants.. Thank you for notifying
Hi everyone, my first post here.
Looks like im in the same situation.
I have Nova Plus from Bell/Virgin Canada. MLA-L03. Purchased it on Caraigslist and after 2 month they blacklisted my Imei. I decided to root the phone and maybe change imei as the phone was useless anyways. So i installed TWRP and rooted it successfuly .
The problem was that i could never get diagnostic port open for Qualcomm QPST program. So i upgraded to Nougar 7.0 ( NRD90M) it got UNrooted and i wanted tio install a newer version of TWRP, i guess i got a wrong version. Now its properly screwed up. I have FRP Lock in fasboot, it makes fastboot useless as i cant adb flash boot, or flash recovery. I can boot back to OS but OEM Unlocking is off and grayed out and FRP Lock blocks all communication, so ADB or Fastboot commands dont get through. i get "waiting for device" crap in command line. SD card upgrade doesn't work either. I dont know why and eRecovery wants to download update but fails all the time. I dont know how to get rid of FPR lock. If i find anything i will post here.
So, I have the US version of the Axon 7 Mini, I wanted to downgrade too Marshmallow, so I downloaded a file flashed it, success! Problem is, is it was the EU version P852A11 supposed to be P852A12, I downloaded the Nougat update from ZTE USA, and tried too flash it no success it says wrong device basically! When I flashed the EU version it basically changed my device to P852A11, and now my device is EU! How does that work it should have recognized and said not compatible, but no it changed my device and I don't know what too do! Can somebody please help! If it is possible can someone download the US Nougat from the ZTE US file and edit it and make it for a P852A11 so I can flash it?!
Or can somebody tell me how too toot this phone, because I have had no success with the threads on XDA!!
@NewbieGamingYT,
Hi,
Sorry to hear that. Yet I am comfused about your phone's problem, as far as I can see, if you flash your phone ZTE cannot help you because when you flash your phone is out of warrenty. Hoping to get your reponse. Thanks!

Hello
I write because following an update yesterday htc u ultra my companion he does not want to start it is blocked on htc and becomes very hot!
I tried several things seen on xda but there I am completely blocked.
I have access to different things, booloader, recoverry, etc ... but nothing changes I did a factory reset but the problem does not evolve
I tried to flash it with a ROM ruu but he told me that it is not the good CID. taken here https://forum.xda-developers.com/u-...stock-htc-ultra-dual-sim-1-64-400-10-t3758077
after i have an idea but i do not know if this is possible i have access to someone who has the same phone bought at the same place at the same time is it possible to extract the RUU rom to reinject it into that of my wife ???
I am hopeless we leave in 8 days and my wife finds herself without phone can you m help me to find the good RUU or extract that of my friend to reinject it?
the model is this one https://www.eglobalcentral.fr/htc-u-ultra-64go-4g-dual-sim-desimlocke-blanc-fr.html
apparently it's a Taiwanese model double sim
thanks for all the help !!
PS it was all original not rooted nor bootloaded unlocked just the update ota do
It would be better if you post the threads links properly, yours got truncated.
If you have, as you claim, the Taiwanese Dual SIM model you should be able to follow the downgrade procedure from Oreo to Nougat. I did it multiple times.
You cannot extract RUU. It is specially prepared package that performs several upgrade operations separately. You can only make dump of already installed system but for that you do need an unlocked bootloader and custom recovery (TWRP) on both devices.

Surely I can not get my hands on a Taiwanese RUU!

We don't have RUU 8.0. Try boot to download mode and flash TWRP recovery. Downgrade to Nougat (7.0).
