I have just bought a Junsun V1 Pro Android Radio for my Renault Megane 3.
After installing the unit it does not start. But when I then pull the plug on the canbus out a little, a screen image comes on. Hope you can help me. Thanks
Did you manage to fix the issue? Otherwise the pic you posted would indicate that the unit thinks the car is shifted in Reverse.
Thanks for your reply.
And no didn't really solve the problem. How do I solve the problem if it thinks I'm in reverse gear?
If I cut one of the wires on the canbus, it wants to run but can't be turned off again.
Have you checked that your canbus settings are correct? Maybe try a different vehicle. Is your car equipt with parking sensors or a camera?. I had a similar issue with my unit (altough in a peugeot), where the headunit was set from factory to be ready for a backcam and sensors, which my car doesn't have.
Thanks for your reply. It has been a bit difficult to change the canbus settings when I couldn't get the start screen on at all. After I have cut a wire on the canbus, I can get the start screen on and have to try different settings.
And I have written to Junsun with the problem. Thought it might be a wrong cunbus/Cable.
And they write back that it's the right thing and I should try not to be in reverse gear, but I'm not in reverse gear??

Hello,
I've found a way to fix some problems with my car-specific PX5 Head Unit which is for an Audi A3 8P and would like to share this solution with you.
The first problem I've found was that with the Bose sound-system the volume would slightly change.
This has to do with a feature called Audio Pilot. With the stock radio this could be disabled in the menu.
To disable this behavior you have to put 12V on a Pin of the quadlock connector for the radio. (see first picture)
The second problem was that an original aux-input wasn't working. The needed Pin's were described on the label of the Head Unit, but after some investigation it was clear that they were not connected. So you would have to get them from the quadlock connector to the connector from the head unit.
Not a clean solution if you ask me.
The Solution of both problems was easy, you can make an additional adapter or you can open your head unit to make some cable bridges.
I choose the second method to reduce the adapters in the car behind the head unit. It's a much cleaner look and there are less points of failure.
The attached pictures show which connection I had made to get all functions working without any additional adapters.
As I didn't find any information for this topic, I hope i could help someone with this post.
Hi, New to the site and a greyhead who knows nothing about the electronics of these things. I installed a Navitree Y1E Android 11 4core 2+32GB Car DVD player for Ford Focus 2 2004-2011 audio for car video AM FM RDS 4G WIFI BT in my 201 Ford Focus. All appeared well as fitting was easy. All looked great and now I have found there is a constant live feed to the unit that is the possibe cause of a flat battery. My son is a mechanic and accepts he is not electronically knowledgeable, but he tested the wires and found a Yellow wire that was live and for memory, but there was a red wire that was permantly live and should be a switch feed. Can anyone advise if they have had experience with this model (Direct from China) and what is happening? Appreciate any help.

Hi Guys asnyone able to help. No help from supplier and looks like I will have to ditch the headunit..
Why would you ditch the head unit? It needs the permanent power on the yellow wire and a switched feed on the red wire. Your vehicle is currently not providing this so either you have wired the unit to the wrong feed or there currently isn't one so you'd need to find a connection in the vehicle which does switch with the key and run it to the red wire. As the red wire is only a sensing input it doesn't need heavy wiring.
It is not a head unit fault.
Note some vehicles supply the switching information to the stock head unit via the CANbus, yours may be like that and would explain the lack of a switched feed at present but you can easily overcome this.

Thanks
Mr.TT_NZThanks for replying..appreciate comments..The red wire is going into the canbus via a 20 pin connector if it is cut the problem seems solved, so are you saying that I should have a switch cable run to that? See image for wiring.
Ah so you do have a CANbus module, I believe there are some issues with switching via those modules but I've never had one to play with.
You could try removing the red wire from the CANbus module and connecting a switched feed to it instead (not as well as) so the head unit only gets its switch control from your new wire. Maybe that CANbus module is not exactly correct for your model of car, there are so many variations even within a certain model that it is hard to see how the people who write the software for the modules can keep up with all of them.

Thanks again. I will try this...did a bit off research on the canbus and there is no UK retailer who will sell me a Ford canbus and guarantee it will work! Most said it would be a sale with no return.. Hey Ho..
Hi all,
I bought my first car 2 weeks ago, a Renault Clio 2014.
The first upgrade i wanted to do was a android head unit that supports android auto and apple car play. after some research i ended up with this one:
https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/1005003495893052.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.0.0.291279d2UtKJ3v&gatewayAdapt=glo2nld
Model: PX9s 64GB 4G
€268,92
I got the radio in and it worked perfect, however i couldn't get the steering wheel volume controls to work.
After connecting the simplesoft box and pressing update on the head unit, the unit turned off and it remained this way... rip.
I think the unit is bricked. Im looking for somone who has the flash files or someone that has made a backup so i can try to restore the head unit
Keep in mind, im new to all of this.
I have found Junsun tech support to be very helpful.
Sorry I can't help any more than that.

I just got a t&t for a new unit, however as far as i know i can keep this one, is it possible to backup the new one and flash the old one with it?
Hi,
I'm new here too. I installed a Junsun V1pro HU on a Mégane 3. The canbus decoder is also a simple soft. Steering wheel control didn't work at first. Actually something was wrong in the harness and I had to swap the position of the 2 white wire of the smallest connector linking the canbus decoder to the unit.
I hope this can help.

I actually am getting my new unit in today, Is there someone who can explain how to make a dump so I can try the backup on my other unit?
Is it posible to put a Other car launcher on a Junsun Android radio i have a model 8227L
hi, I have a junsun with fw ts18 2.2, loading another fw I didn't realize it was for vertical system now I can't load the right one, how do I do it.?
Hello, help. The question of such a junsun v1 car radio. The reversing camera failed. Only the black screen is on. The connection was correct. What could be the reason? When you click on the screen, brightness settings appear and nothing else. I connected another camera the same
Hi folks. i hope someone can help here. I have just fitted a JunSun 825x_pro (I can add more info if it's needed but it seems to be the VI model with 2gb and 32gb) to my 2014 Peugeot 208 1.4HDi. It's working fine (Even the 4g connection with a sim works) apart from one thing. I cannot find the correct canbus code for it. I have been through the list and tried everything that says Peugeot (and PSA, but nothing shows 208) to no avail. I am beginning to suspect I have either got the wrong canbus decoder or the wiring is wrong since everything else seems to be working correctly. It's kind of important to have the steering whell controls working.
I don't want to rip it all out again unless I really have to.
If anyone has any suggestions I would be grateful.

You could check if your car exposes the SWC as resistance matrix to the OEM harness. In this case it's best practice to bypass the CAN box for SWC because the learning function can be used and you don't have to live with hard coded mapping of key and function.
You may try to find the pinout of your original radio via Google by using model number/name of the OEM radio.

I might just have to do this, although that would be a steep learning curve!! The stereo has learning functions and I can remap the keys (once I can get them to register). I need to wait until the trim pry set arrives since the new unit is really tight and I don't want to damage it with screwdrivers etc. I can then get the canbus decoder out and see if it has anything on it to identify it in the system such as a model or anything. I also need to ensure the plug is in the right way round into the socket in the back of the unit -it has 2 wires on one end and I think the plug can go in either way!! :-(
Doh! Never mind. Important note: always check you have the connectors in the right sockets!! had the 8 pin canbus plug into a 10 pin - not connected - socket. :-(

Even the car trip button is working now a la Peugeot head unit...
Hello everyone, i'm new here and know nothing about this stuff but im learning slowly . I bought at local dealer this radio Isudar T72 10'' screen, 4GB/32GB and place it in a VW Golf 7. everything is working fine and im happy with it but every then and there after the ignition of a car audio starts but screen is DEAD.
If i press buttons on a radio after half a minute screen gets activated. Next time radio works fine and so on......
I have also replaced the radio with a new one and today this error happend again. I been told that could be some error with CAN BUS of a car and the radio?!
Does anyone have any idea what could be a problem??
Thanks and bye
Hello. Do you have it properly wired and set to MQB?
How to connect car radio for MQB car(T72)
1. Connect the cable like this photo. 2. Pls connect car radio to wifi. 3. Choose car module on setting-factory setting-123456- select module.4. Choose canbox -Raise- VW- MQB- then pubic.

Just because i was affraid of this problems i took a car to this dealer who installed everything. Also as he said he never had problems and been already installing into this kind of cars. Now he sent me second radio but without canbus module. The error is the same.
My original radio didnt have separated MOB and it was all installed directly into the screen. Sleep mode doesnt affect much and its just too long to be activated every day.
Maybe we need to think also about replacing this canbus module.
I will check your links.
