Hi all,
I can't install any outsource applications in mi tv stick 4k.
I gave permission to fx file manager for installing sideload apps from it and tried to install apk . it gave me staging app message and disappeared. I think this was happening after updating last firmware. Anyone faced this issue and had solution?
any luck with a solution?

Hi,
I can't seem to install Google's new uploaded camera. It seems many people have this problem as well (at least in the Nexus 4 section which is my device as well).
The error I got was "package file was not signed correctly...". That was when I had the photosphere camera so I deleted it's .apk and .sh files. After that I got the error "application already exists". Deleting the AOSP camera doesn't seem to help as well.
Any suggestions?
P.S this seems to be a custom rom problem, for example Slimkat users had this problem as well and the developers had to release some fix for it.
flashing the PA new google camera addon module, does not permit to upgrade / install the google camera from play store, it says that is not possible because of a wrong signature, then if i remove with root file explorer from /system/app and i try to install from market it says that application is already present, do someone know how to solve that? i'm on OmniROM
Solved...
Install apk from here:
http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/04/16/breaking-google-releases-stock-camera-app-to-the-play-store/
Worked for me without having to delete anything.
yes but the apk let you install mat it's not connected to google play store so if any upgrade exit you won't be able to installa automatically
Yep that is a problem... But you can just install the new apk again when it's updated that's all.
Is the still no solution for the problem? I'm experiencing it as well on my Nexus 4 running PA 4.4 rom
Use modular gapps
I am having zuk z2 plus and I recently installed a custom ROM (pixel experience 8.1.0). On first istallion the Google moded camera seams to be working fine but after a factory reset ,I again tried to install but the camera is not installing (" app not installed").so please help me out
Ok, so i've flashed ambasadii note 8 rom, which is great but i've noticed this bug in camera app. So i've tried installing official Samsung camera app, it was prompting me it's an update but installation ended without success. I've tried installing it with system app installer to overwrite faulty one, but there was message that it couldn't mount system partition as r/w. And i'm also unable to do so. Tried with mounting app and busybox commands. Help appreciated, thanks in advance.
Like everyone I love to keep all my apps updated and the same goes for YouTube. Recently they pushed an update . Even if I have this phone running on lollipop the playstore says that my device isn't compatible with the app. I tried installing from other sources and even tried installing from other devices through share apps but no use. :crying:
Please help

youtube go still works great. you should use it instead.
Hello everybody.
If you are the one who are suffering from non compatibility of YouTube app in your phone, then this post is for you all.
Firstly Download Updated Version Youtube apk from Apkmirror.com, Before downloading YouTube apk you must know the Architecture and dpi of the mobile which you are using. Those can be known by checking it on Droidapp which is available in Playstore.
After downloading, Turn Off "Do not install from Unknown Sources" option. You don't need to worry about viruses or malwares, because Apkmirror.com uploads apks directly from the Developers.
If this install works then go ahead and stream YouTube.
If that thing doesn't work out.. Then go to application management and clear off the data of YouTube app, Google Play Store app, Google Play Services app, and also Google Services Framework app. Then try to install the apk which has been downloaded previously from Apkmirror.com. It will work.
Unfortunately, if this method also doesn't work.., then go to apkpure.com and download the latest verison of YouTube apk. Install it, it works for sure.
This is what I did with my phone to run the latest versions of YouTube app.
I use OPPO A37 mobile. So this method is most recommended for OPPO A37 mobile users. Other mobile users can also try this method and check if it works.
Try multiple times with various versions and related architectures and dpis' it will work
Basically, it is a YouTube app compatibility issue with Oppo devices. In this situation, you can try the following solutions:
you can follow three things:
Solution one - Clear Cache & Data of Google Play Store and YouTube app. Reboot the device and reinstall the latest update.
Solution two - Sideload YouTube app from third-party apk site. We suggest using Apkmirror and Apkpure. It seems like Apkpure work fine for the users.
Solution Three - Download and Install YouTube Go. The official alternate version of YouTube app.
To check the detailed steps, you can check out this blog post:

Done,
I deinstall reboot and install the 18.5.
The debloat procedure I keep for New Year
Anyhow big thx
It works for me both stock Amazon and also after debloating/installing Google Play Store with Toolbox utility. Make sure you download 32bit Kodi 18.5 version from kodi.tv web site.
If stock, download Kodi with Silk browser then select the downloaded file notification and enable permission to install apps from Silk. Don't use file manager as it only opens the content of Kodi apk after registering the device with Amazon.
If debloated of Amazon apps with Toolbox utility, after downloading Kodi apk use file manager to install Kodi apk.
Hello everyone!
I have a Mi 9T EEA, with MIUI 11.0.4.0, stock rom, rooted with latest Magisk (20.4).
I tweaked some settings with AppOps before, tweaked doze settings and used Szaki's XiaomiADB tool for removing nearly every app that was listed.
It seemed everything is working fine, no issues whatsoever, but today I realized that no 3rd party apps can be installed as before.
I have some apks in my phone, like GCam, and when I try to install it, it results in an "App not installed" message. It's true for any apk, even those that I could install before.
Installing new apps from Play Store is working perfectly, and even installing the given apk with "pm install" in a root shell works fine.
One suspicious thing is that if I open the root shell to the Downloads (or any other in the /storage/emulated/0/) folder, it first shows as "unreachable", I have to do a cd command from root to the same folder and then it works fine.
I tried checking the permissions and activities of the Package Installer app, but everything seems to be default.
Does anyone have a clue, where I should look for the cause of this problem?
Thanks for reading, have a nice day!
