So after a few weeks banging my head over the no-sound issue on my 8227L head unit on a Peugeot 407, I found the culprit: as the car has a JBL sound system - and amplifier - it needs a special cable and harness. I ordered one, it connects to the main stock radio and plugs the android radio and the car all together.
Great, it plays sound, even some stock radio buttons work and transmit information to the android screen, so on.
But now comes another issue: the default music player just ignores the folder structure, and therefore, file naming.
When playing the songs by alphabetic order, it cycles ALL tracks starting by "01 - ... ", then ALL the "02 - ... " tracks, and yada yada. I could correct this in Windows explorer, renaming all the files and placing a "[album name] 01 - track name " method (I have downloaded a freeware that does that renaming process a breeze, so its not too big of a hassle). Also, there are a few albums with 2 or even 3 CD, and that would imply a further renaming like "[album name][CD#] 01 - track name" in those cases.
Or
I could just get another media player for the android unit. I tried 2 different media players and they see the folders without issue (and play the musics accordingly in the correct order). But they don't replace the default music player and there is no option to change it. All I have is an option to set the default GPS / navigation app, not the radio, not the music one.
Is there any workaround for this?
Here are the unit details (nevermind the can information, the current one is Hiworld W25):

Hi all-
at one time I was interested in converting a tablet into a head unit, but lacked the know-how so I finally just bought one from ali express and installed it; android 4.4 and I can't post links so you can
use the ali search and enter: 2 DIN Android 4.4 7 Inch Bluetooth Audio In Dash to find the specific unit that looks like

For the most part, it's great- but I have two questions that would make it even better
(1) I can play music and audiobooks (two different apps) over bluetooth, and the audio is perfect. When I get bluetooth calls though, it starts with a blast of static and then nothing- I assumed it was a mic or feedback problem, but I just played a voicemail recording from the phone AT&T "visual voicemail" app, and it did the same thing even though that is just playing a recording and shouldn't be using the mic at all. Does anyone know what if there is some other difference between 'audio out' apps that might cause some to work find, and others to have problems? There are rear ports for audio input, but I don't think those replace the mic, so for now I'm stuck with external troubleshooting (I'm not ready to take it apart and start doing surgery on the unit)
[EDIT: it also plays the audio from Google Maps with no problem]
(2) The unit has a very long splash screen- so long, that I can get out my 150' driveway and down the block before it goes away and allows BT to connect to play my audiobooks. I looked through the menus but haven't found a way to shorten that screen. I realize this may require rooting if it is not a publically available setting. Where should I be looking (or is it stored in a file somewhere?), and if rooting is required, how does a newbie like me figure out the best options for rooting, preferably leaving the rest of the OS as-is so I don't accidently jack up the reverse and forward camera functions, etc?
I'm not a frequenter of XDA, but this seems to be the most knowledgable place for this type of thing- so I appreciate you pointing me in the right direction
Many thanks!

I would like to configure the information transfered to original display (radio RDS info, songs names, etc...)
By default on 5.1, Joying can transfer some information such as "Welcome" on power on, Mute, Volume and Radio frecuency /Song list info

Yes... It's estrange because anybody is talking about this xd
I think all chinese interfaces are the same, but with different configuration for every car model/makes
Does it ever display any text, like track name or station name? Or is it all static like MUTE, FM 1, AM 1.
I'm trying to figure out if the head unit sends the text, or if it's hard coded into the canbus decoder box.

I hope we can find something, it would be great
In my opinion it has to be on the radio because of the "current/total" song, is has to get the strings from the radio value, never make them up

Mine (MaxiDot) only displays in FM Radio HU mode: Ch4 103.40 Mhz, FM2 and in Misic Player mode: TOC 369/592 TIM: 0:09 SD. That's it.
Just installed a Joying 7" HU to an Australian Hyundai i30:
Spec JY - UO128N4GSN 8-Core Intel Spreadtrum SC9853i 1.8GHZ
Operating System: Android 8.1 Oreo
GPU: Maili T820 MP2
So far I have been very pleased with the operation and appearance of this HU after owning a prev version 4 years ago.
I have one bug I don't seem to be able to get the better of. I hope someone on this forum may be able to help.
I got a USB front camera mounted beside the center mirror. The camera is a generic Chinese unit U2 with ADAS etc. from E bay. The camera came with "Traffic Safety Guard" pre loaded into it's RAM. I put a 16G card in the camera slot. The software installed into the HU OK.
The picture from the camera displayed on the HU is very good. If I start the program it records the video very well and tags it with date time etc.
Problem:
The HU will not auto load the camera software on restarting the car.
The HU auto starts all other programs I left running like Radio, GPS nav and all others like music player.
If I manually restart the "Traffic Safety Guard" app all is well until I restart the car. Then the HU drops the program again. - infuriating.
Joying offered NO help on my request, said it was normal.
I tried a few Auto Start Apps but they do not change the problem - it still wont restart the camera app automatically.
Any help would be great. Keep in mind I am not proficient at writing software I am an ex telephone tech so elec trickery is my thing.

Use FYTStarter from @bambapin

You can sssign apps to be started on boot/resume from sleep.
That solution worked perfectly first time!!!
I now don't have to worry every time I start the car if I have turned the camera on.
Thank you for your help!
This forum and ones like it are one of the better things about the internet.
Thanks again.
hey everybody my dad just bought a new seicane
Double din H2 10.0 android
With the DSP add on
It’s in a 2012 Toyota sienna
We had a second there originally and we moved to an Alpine
But he’s giving me the Alpine to throw in another car so he got this new one
Problem is the sub else does not have any sound
Things don’t seem to be working correctly
I’ve seen this as a common issue
But is there any actual fix?
Also is it possible to use an external dac?
I have an audio technica and Berhinger card
Using a separate app to push audio through USB output it works but I want to get android system sound to go through
That way radio Bluetooth and all other sounds are pushed out
Hi, most probably , must change radio chip settings in infotainment hidden /admin menu, there is an option IC type of radio, must change to other chip settings.Try with that first

Seems like I’m missing stuff
I’m like really struggling lol
What is in factory settings ? Can you make photo of that menu (if it asks pin code try 8888 or what number it is)
And add photo of the menu RADIO in pic nb. 3 please.
"rk3368_user debug" - this is the designation of software update you might look for.
It is most probably on Russian PDA forum. Find & download right software and update device. It might fix the problem. That is one solution.
I'll study more when you get this pic of that radio menu.
P.S. What version of android is it and is it PX5 or PX6 chip?
Look for answers here also - this is for CAN bus and audio control related to alpine: https://www.wranglerforum.com/threa...-premium-sound-in-january-2020.2391881/page-2
Still struggling
For a 2012 Toyota Sienna
Here ya go
Ask your seller for update of system image. If problem is with software not hardware seller must have tyxxxx factory settings update files.
Hi all
I seem to be having a bit of an issue with my Brosmartek android 11 head unit, even though it was bought from a UK seller I assume its basicly a chinese unit. I use musicolet or poweramp to play music files from the external USB but despite both apps being set to remember the position of audio tracks neither of them seem to do it. I tend to listen to audiobooks whilst driving so when i turn off the unit by taking out the keys the unit shuts down(assume it fully shuts down as does the full reboot when I put the keys back in), when I get back in and start the unit the track goes back to the beginning. I'm running car launcher pro or Agama as much prefer the interface than the stock launcher. The built in player in the unit does keep the track position but I cant set it as active player in car launcher pro.
I have both musicolet and power amp on my phone and it saves position ok even if turning off the phone and back on so I wonder if I have overlooked something in the settings.
On the car head unit I have tried pausing the track before taking the keys out but still doesn't work and power amp sometimes flashes up saying poeramp has detected it was killed while playing an active track with a go to setting button(android app settings) but it doesn't say what to change.
Can anyone please help? or point me in the direction of a player that will keep track position(a player that supports mp3, m4a and m4b files)
Well that problem has escalated, it now wont boot up, just been out to go to the shop and it just hangs on this screen, have tried restting using rst button, pressing and holding for a minute ect no joy, looks like I have a dud, its not even been in a week
