Android seicane h2 and external dac - Android Head-Units

hey everybody my dad just bought a new seicane
Double din H2 10.0 android
With the DSP add on
It’s in a 2012 Toyota sienna
We had a second there originally and we moved to an Alpine
But he’s giving me the Alpine to throw in another car so he got this new one
Problem is the sub else does not have any sound
Things don’t seem to be working correctly
I’ve seen this as a common issue
But is there any actual fix?
Also is it possible to use an external dac?
I have an audio technica and Berhinger card
Using a separate app to push audio through USB output it works but I want to get android system sound to go through
That way radio Bluetooth and all other sounds are pushed out

Hi, most probably , must change radio chip settings in infotainment hidden /admin menu, there is an option IC type of radio, must change to other chip settings.Try with that first

Seems like I’m missing stuff

I’m like really struggling lol

What is in factory settings ? Can you make photo of that menu (if it asks pin code try 8888 or what number it is)
And add photo of the menu RADIO in pic nb. 3 please.

"rk3368_user debug" - this is the designation of software update you might look for.
It is most probably on Russian PDA forum. Find & download right software and update device. It might fix the problem. That is one solution.
I'll study more when you get this pic of that radio menu.
P.S. What version of android is it and is it PX5 or PX6 chip?
Look for answers here also - this is for CAN bus and audio control related to alpine: https://www.wranglerforum.com/threa...-premium-sound-in-january-2020.2391881/page-2

Still struggling
For a 2012 Toyota Sienna

Here ya go

Ask your seller for update of system image. If problem is with software not hardware seller must have tyxxxx factory settings update files.

What's Can bux box upgrade menu for?
Have you ever used it?
Can bux box upgrade menu (I belive) is for upgrading CAN box adapter FW coming with some HUs. I did not see any CAN box FWs available from say Joying though.

Yes... It's estrange because anybody is talking about this xd
I think all chinese interfaces are the same, but with different configuration for every car model/makes
Does it ever display any text, like track name or station name? Or is it all static like MUTE, FM 1, AM 1.
I'm trying to figure out if the head unit sends the text, or if it's hard coded into the canbus decoder box.

I hope we can find something, it would be great
In my opinion it has to be on the radio because of the "current/total" song, is has to get the strings from the radio value, never make them up

Mine (MaxiDot) only displays in FM Radio HU mode: Ch4 103.40 Mhz, FM2 and in Misic Player mode: TOC 369/592 TIM: 0:09 SD. That's it.

Ipod on Hizpo

I just got this Hizpo 6.2" inch Android 7.1 Double Din In Dash Radio.
According to the manual, this unit appears to support Ipods, but I can't find any info on it
It has a port on the back for a wire harness also after enabling it in the factory settings, it adds a Ipod icon to the app drawer.
Does any have any info on this or know where to get a wiring harness?

Did you ever find a resolution for this? I'm in the exact same boat. I am trying to deal with the support folks but it is a slow process.
Thanks

Ya I did, I returned the unit. I talked to support and it is not supported on this unit even tho the port is there. They use the same parts and software for multiple units.

Ah, gotcha. I made sure to ask before I bought the one I have if it supported ipods, they said it would so that's why I bought it. Starting to get the feeling it might not after all. Thanks for the reply!

How to upgrade Android version on head unit? "YT9216BJ"

Hey All.
I just got a head unit for my 2005 Mazda and found out that the actual version is Marshmalllow 6 instead of the advertised 8.1.
Do most head units come with fake 'upgrades'? I used Aida64 app to query list my device (hope accurate).
Is there a way to actually install Android 8.1 on my head unit?
Unit Info:
YT9216BJ_00012_V001_20200515 <--- build I.D. kernel version (supposedly)
MCU 3.1
Alps AC8227L_demo <--- (not upgradable?)
And... what the heck is 'XY Auto' ?

I had an issue with connecting to my steering wheel control until I went into the Factory Settings to change my CanBus info.
After cycling through different providers and versions I found the 'Raise - 22017 Mazda' works for my 2005 control. (finally says 'connection' instead of 'disconnect")
The only issue I still have is Not being able to connect my stock OEM LCD panel to the head unit, different connection (12-pin vs. 14pin)
Another con I have to get used to: No AM Radio, FM only.
But overall, not too bad for a $130 unit to upgrade my stock radio in my old car.
Now if I can actually get Android 8.1 on it.
Anyone know where I can get latest firmware that'll work for this particular unit ?
Looks like I have the same HU than you in my 2018 Sorento. I'll take a look to see what Aida64 has to say about mine.
Check out this guide to make your unit much better. Faster, better looking and with unlimited tweaking options as well as vast sound improvements.
can anyone know where I can get this update for Android car stereo
update name- "UP_UI19_F27LJ_00011_V001
Hello does this mod or any other fit my radio

Review chinese Android HU AC8227L

I bought recently a cheap Android HU from Banggood and I decided to publish the review, but I think they won't approve it so here I am.

Overall it does the job but not worth the expense, very poor quality Android "fake head unit".
- The WIFI takes ages to connect to my phone's hotspot.
- It does not run Android Auto out of the box - as we think it does. You can install the APP, but that won't work as you expect (with your device)
- The mirrorlink doesn't work. I've tried with both Android and iOS devices. In the manual is described how to do, but not even mentioned the APP you must download in order to have it running.
- When playing songs via bluetooth you cannot adjust the bass, only when playing songs from USB.
- The Factory Reset pin (in the manual says is 8888) DOES NOT WORK. For my understanding you have access do hidden options within this "tablet"
- The touch buttons are not very sensitive, I must press multiple times and sometimes press harder otherwise it doesn't recognize when pressing
- It has no fan for the overheating issue - after 2-3 hours is quite hot
- The manual even due is in English, it describes more in a general way. If you have a problem they will say "is written in the manual" but clearly is to generic approach and won't work. I guess this "tablet" is just "re-branded" and that's why of the generic manual.
If I knew I would have spend 100 euros more and get a quality android head unit (a real one)
Link to the HU https://www.banggood.com/IMars-7-In...h-Rear-Camera-p-1411488.html?cur_warehouse=CZ
Same head unit bought on Bangood from Imars the ES version. AV out / in das not work when I connect headrest screen. in ad it say it is suported. 8888 fro the factory config das not work
das any one know the wright pasw. and or how to adjust the settings aznd or upgrade to Android 9 by reflash?
Not Android Auto, requested moved to Android Headunits.
Note, none of these Chinese hacked Android units are Android Auto.
Refer google website for certified Android Auto headunits.

Generic head unit fader doesn't function

Hi all,
Just installed an ebay android head unit:
For Kia Optima K5 2011 2015 9 Android 10 1 RAM 2GB ROM 32GB Car Stereo Radio for sale | eBay
Find great deals on eBay for For Kia Optima K5 2011 2015 9 Android 10 1 RAM 2GB ROM 32GB Car Stereo Radio. Shop with confidence.
www.ebay.ca
It of course has the settings page with a sound settings tab where there is then an EQ and a speaker button that opens another page where there is an image of car interior and you can move a dot around to adjust speaker focus. The balance seems to work fine but there is no front to rear change. Had thought it was because i was using a different launcher with poweramp but have since done a factory reset and it also doesn't fade forward or rear using stock launcher and localmusic app.
When I pull the screen down from top there is an amplifier shortcut. Have tried with on or off.
Any other suggestions to try or do these just not actually have a fader ability?

Thank you. Unfortunately I dont seem to have that function to be found. There is an amplifier page in factory options but it only offers level change between 1-100. Made no difference at 1.
I contacted seller and they advise they will send settings file updates to me to load. I thought fader was working when first installed but then stopped after I had installed agama launcher and another music player but cant recall 100%. Will see what seller sends and if fixes the issue. Other than that and the slight hiss at low volume im pretty happy with it for the cost.
No fix from seller yet. File sent thiugh different version # was same issue. Second update wouldn't instal. Waiting on further.
Seems it is also one of the fake info models. Info apps show is just 1Gb Ram not the 2Gb it tries to claim. 8227l it seems from cpu-z info given.
So should I just be rooting and changing ROM? Will that be fixing fader? Or would root and use of that Viper app provide for a fader setting that should function?
Will see what seller does next but I intend to discuss discrepancies found and likely see a partial refund.
Thanks for any further guidance

Do you have a factory amplifier on board?
No speakers are powered by the head unit itself. My car just has the base model stereo. I've seen a walkthrough to load a rooted rom with viper loaded. Just waiting on a male to male usb to arrive so I can connect my laptop and try loading that on
