2. Does anyone have the climate software they come with ?
I have it but when i try to open the app icon it keeps force closing like right away more like the screen just kind of flashes.
3. My climate control used to work never the display but the controls. Then they just stopped working i turned my car on one day and the fans were blowing but ihad no control over it. I can't turn it off and the buttons don't illuminate when ipush sc on or dual on nothing like the boards dead. I plug my old head unit back in and that works for control. Hi all,
I bought an Android HU from Aliexpress for my 2016 Volvo S60.
It is a PX3 device but I am not sure if it is a MTCD/E or something like it.
It is only a display unit with an android/MCU board and has no amplifier etc.
Normally it shows the original car menus (stretched to >8 inch wide) on it and when you push and hold the menu
button on original car console it switches to Android UI. In short, it is a little different then usual Android HUs.
I am pretty satisfied with the unit but there is one deal breaker for me. When I stop the engine and remove the key from car,
Android HU shuts off instead off sleeping. So when I want to use the car again, it takes 40-50 seconds the unit to boot.
I have also a Px5 unit in my VW car and it instantly awakes when I start the engine.
What I want to ask is if it is a software option? Can I somehow make the unit sleep.
Do you think this unit compatible with Hal9K or Malaysk Px3 roms?
If PX3 sleeping not possible can I use a PX5 board to upgrade the unit?
Thanks in advance...
P.S: I attached a couple of photos of the unit. There is also some factory setting page shots.
Factory setting password of the unit is 1314....

please help
my head unit spec is as follow:

mcu STM32
I bought a Coho headunit (https://a.aliexpress.com/_m0Nkbjm) to upgrade from a 9” to a 10.25”. What appealed me at first from this seller is that their system are dual system so that I could keep my original Mazda infotainment system next to it. Having it installed, the display is great! But the software sucks quite badly: physical buttons that are not mapped properly. For example when in CarPlay, the home button brings me back to the Android system instead of the home screen of CarPlay or I can change the volume but it doesn’t show any visual feedback (the volume number even stays the same in Android. They said it’s because the volume is adapted in the original Mazda system).
Anyhow, it’s gotten to the point that I start to miss the original system. As it’s a dual system, I can still make use of the original system. The only problem is that the resolution isn’t adapted. So I either need to deal with a part cut off (the original 9”) or the image is blown up to fit the whole screen.
Is there a way to upscale the resolution so that I can have it fullscreen on the 10.25” size?
Did you ever solve this issue?
