I've been asking all over the net including Nothing themselves and still no answer.
Install Island app from play store
For such a phone it is really a serious lack ...
Yes, up to five simultaneous apps/user accounts. Happy spamming

sorry I did not understand. what does spamming have to do with it? I have 2 accounts of different apps, for work and personal, and I found it very useful to have the possibility directly from the os to have this function ...

how i could tranfer the contacts from my old nokia 8800 sirocco to my new xda orbit 2?
I assume you have Nokia Communication Center for your Nokia 8800.
You could transfer your contacts from N8800 -> (with NCC) -> MS Outlook -> (with ActiveSync) -> XDA.
i am using nokia pc suite but i can't sync them with outlook

Hi all!
I have an issue:
the birthdays that are set on my contacts, doesn't appear on calendar and this don't remind me these recurrences (birthdays and anniversary).
I've tried some roms (all versions of Dutty HD and LP HD) but the problem is always the same.
The program that I've install are:
- Tomtom
- Advanced Config 3.3
- CorePlayer
- HD Tweak
- ING HideSIM
- PocketRAR
- Resco Explorer
- Resco Photo Viewer
- Skype
- VITO Audio Notes
- Startclean
If I do an hard reset and I don't install nothing, the problem remain.
Any suggest? Is only my problem?
Greetings
birthday calendar
i think it happens in all roms. Workarround: edit the birthday data of the contact on your PC Outlook, then syncronize your device with Activesync "sync" button (pc or device), and you will get the birthday as an all day event on your calendar......
But if I don't want syncronize it with Outlook on my pc, it will be impossible to see these on calendar of Touch HD? It seems ridiculous...
However, thank you a lot for your answer. If I can I'll try this solution...
Is there a real solution to this problem?
I think you have to synchronize with Outlook to copy the birthdays and anniversaries from the contacts to the calendar.
josj
Well, but I do not use Outlook - and, in addition to that, I do not synchronize at all.
So, I thought, perhaps there is a solution based in wm...?
no chance without outlook synchronizing

You should try this:
http://translate.google.lu/translat...HTC/DarkAnnifAlert&sl=fr&tl=en&hl=de&ie=UTF-8
It generates alerts based on the birthday information in your contacts.
Here's a translation from French into English of the features :
- Quitter = Quit
- Ajouter Altertes = Add alerts
- Alerte la veille = Alert on the day before
- Alerte jour J = Alert on day D
- Si aucune case n'est cochée, seul l'événement "Anniversaire" sera généré sans alertes. Dans la prochaine version je créerai un contrôle pour ne pas créer de doublons = If no box is ticked, only the event "Birthday" will be created, without any alerts. In the future version, I'll add a test to avoid doubles.
- Annuler = Cancel
- Générer alertes = Create alerts
It happens that when I transfer files from PC to Tab through usb as mass storage, I find myself with the images I have in external sd doubled .. tripled etc.etc. when viewing the gallery program, in order to eliminate the problem I have to remove the external SD format and copy the contents that were saved, but then the next thing in connection with the pc is repeated. How / what to do?
Thanks

Come/cosa fare?
Grazie
Is your picasa sync option on when you added the gmail account? If yes, i can post a fix to it.

No!
I have not activated the synchronization Picasa album!
I activated the synchronization Picasa only the first time but then no more.
I just turned on the sync Gmail!
I still have a doubling or more of all the images (of the external sd) in the gallery every time I connect to the PC with the USB, even if you delete them the next time you play. Please help.
Thanks
This is not my solution, but i had Googled this and it fixed the double thumbnails for me when i was using the Galaxy S some time ago.
Recently double thumbnails were showing in the tab too. Doing the following fixed it.
Settings > Accounts & Sync > Your gmail account > "Sync Picasa Web Albums" is unchecked – FIRST DO THIS
Then (Do this from pc only, when tab is connected via mass storage mode):
- deleted the contents of \DCIM\.thumbnails
- deleted the contents of \Android\data\com.cooliris.media\cache
- Unmounted my SD card and reopened the Gallery app.
This should regenerate all the thumbnails correctly and only one. When you unmount and disconnect from pc, let the media manager finish scanning, then open gallery.
